I gulped.
Every inch of my hair stood out from fear. It all started when i was meditating in my room, a maid came running inside telling me that the Luna had collapsed And he needs my aid.
I was infront of the room, thousands of thoughts running through my mind. If i come in.. would my head roll? I still haven't told him what i did- and what happened during that time.
"Are you coming in or you want me to force you in?" He said in a menacing voice inside the room.
I held the doorknob shaking, i closed my eyes and took deep breaths before coming in.
i bowed. "Alpha King i apologize for the Mistake, i swore that-"
"Lift your head." He said annoyed.
Should i?
I nodded to myself and slowly lifted my head up, my eyes following the direction. My eyes landed on him while he watched me with those angry eyes.
"What happened to her? What did you do this time?"
I stopped myself from rolling my eyes. Everything's always my fault huh?
"Side effects. I informed you yesterday that i wanted to deliver the message to you but you refused me, telling me that you wanted to be Alone with her."
"So it's my fault?"
"No Alpha King, you just don't understand the situation yet."
"Oblige me." He said sitting down, making me see Christal sleeping soundly on her bed.
She looks fine, but if she did collapse it must be because of the side effects of forcing her brain to seal some memories- horrible memories. I could still remember what i saw that day, it haunted me.
That's why i don't want to recall it.. for now.
"It happened the day when i healed her, it looked fine after but the situation i went through was horrifying. When my spirit became one with her body i met her wolf."
"Her wolf?" He repeated.
"Yes, i thought perhaps she was guarding her for protection but it was the other way around. She threatened to kill the Luna, your Mate."
He growled, he's eyes growing darker. The tension around us seemed more heavier. "Her wolf.. threatened to kill her?!" His voice echoing around the room.
"Being a dark witch didn't help me restain her. I was submitting to her presence unconsciously. I looked like a rat in front of a wild Cat. Her wolf is surely no ordinary wolf."
"I noticed too, she's powerful for a wolf that had no training for years." He responded questionably.
"That's why i have a question Alpha King. Wolves, such as yourself has another thing inside of you right?"
"The thing is our wolf." He said.
"Yes, and do your wolf conflict with your opinions? Actions?"
"No. they're not human, so they do not act like one. They are animals, that's why they act savagely with no conscience at all."
"Yes, that's why it piqued my curiosity when i met her wolf. Her wolf appeared in front of me in a form of young girl.." i trailed off.
He sat silenced, his thoughts obviously trying to puzzle something." Anything else? I haven't heard the reason why my mate is lying on a bed right now." He said.
I gulped. "After effects of Memoriae-"
In a second, the windows opened on its own from the wind that gushed from the inside forcefully, my hair flew on different directions as i felt the power and domination of The Alpha King. It overwhelmed the place and i'm sure that others have felt it too.
Slowly, my eyes landed on him. His knuckles clutched and his eyes burning from anger. He was restraining himself.
"You WHAT?" He's using the Alpha Command tone. It makes anyone from his pack submit whether they like it or not.
"I had no choice." I spouted out, my voice barely coming out. "I had no choice." I repeated
"Her wolf.. threatened me with the Luna's life. I tried to do anything i can but in the end, she got me playing in her hands. I had no choice but to do it." I said my head still bowed in respect.
"What an incompetent wolf she has." He says, barely a whisper.
"Yes Alpha King. Her wolf is one of a kind." I said, my tone sounded like a question.
"How long will it last?"
"Pardon?" I lift my head up.
"Her pain, i cannot bear to see her like that." he frowns while looking where his mate slept.
"There is no end to it, she felt pain because she attempted to remember."
He sighs. "So there is no cure?"
"There is. She must accept her memory."
"What do you mean? You already erased it, did you not?"
"Erase?" I chuckled. "Her wolf underestimated me, i may have did the Memoriae but i change its effect. I only sealed her memories not erase it. That's why she feels pain, her memories still remain." I said.
"Why? Why seal it if it only brings her great pain? Wrong delusions and wrong judgement!" His eyes darkens.
"Alpha King. It's her memory." I respond quickly.
"AND SHE's MINE!" He seethes.
"I understand why you want her memories to be erased, both you and her wolf want to make her forget about her past right? But doing so, you cannot change destiny. Christal will still meet her past in the future because destiny made it do so."
"destiny? destiny is something that we control. So if destiny wants us separated... i will let it be? NEVER." He growls.
Actually if i were even judge this, even i will take their side. Why keep the thing that hurts you? Why? The only reason why i'm explaining myself to him is because i know she didn't want to forget.
Such a painful act, bravery and docile actions that she preferred than to be saved.
Because of a special someone.
"It is not facts, Alpha King." I said. "It's simply going to happen eventually." I stared at the ground.
"You.. what the hell happened in there." He commands. "Speak or die."
He must be talking about the time when i met her Wolf. At those times, my mind completely awakened. My immature self was held back and i stared into the cruel world we live in.
["WAKE UP! Please don't leave me! why.. WHY?!" Christal weeped endlessly while staring at his body.] -memory
How weak and the strong must be chosen. Or how the weak will be beaten by the strong ones because fate made them to be so. In this world your only ally is Luck.

I closed my eyes, no Syrena don't try to remember her memories. Don't, her agony just makes me shiver in fear. Her story-history is too unrealistic.
After seconds i opened my eyes once again.
"I will warn you Alpha King, do everything to make her love you- No. make her realize that you are the one that she needs. Make her walk the right path, make her happy and don't make her try to remember her past. This is a warning Alpha King, if you upset her. Just once, you'll lose the battle for her love."
"Battle? What do you mean? Are you trying to say i have a rival?" He looks confused. He's eyes never leaving mine.
A Rival? No.
An Enemy.
"He might be your greatest enemy in the future or your whole life, Alpha King."
He looked unaffected at all.
The Alpha King is also someone who you shouldn't underestimate, his history is a mystery to all us. Making us fear him, and how he handles his pack is uncommon to other packs, but he did become the stronger wolf than the past generations.
My eyes furrowed when i saw him grinning, he turns away from me and looks closely to his mate, placing a soft touch to her cheek. "enemy? Don't make me laugh."
Well he's an Alpha King for sure.
"If he comes here, i'll make sure to behead him and serve his body to my pack. He will be sorry that he faced me! I will kill him, watch me WITCH." He says, power and domination oozing out from him.
He was calm yet furious.
