Chapter 2: First Meeting with CEO Morgan

During the executive meeting, Alexander Morgan was introducing the company's new market strategy. In his impeccable suit, his every gesture exuded the aura of a domineering CEO. In my previous life, I might have been too intimidated by such presence to even look up, but now, having seen beyond life and death, what was there to fear?
"This plan has a fatal flaw," my voice broke the silence.
The meeting room instantly became terrifyingly quiet. Over twenty pairs of eyes turned toward me all at once—some surprised, some angry, but most displaying utter disbelief. How could a newcomer, employed for only three days, dare to directly challenge the president's proposal in an executive meeting?
Alexander Morgan slowly looked up, his sharp gaze sweeping toward me like a blade: "Oh? Let's hear it."
His voice was deep and calm, yet carried an undeniable aura of authority. I felt as if the air around us had frozen solid, but I didn't back down. Lessons from my previous life taught me that opportunities slip away in an instant.
"Your market forecast has overlooked the rise of Gen Z consumers." I stood up and walked toward the projection screen, my high heels making crisp sounds on the marble floor. "According to my analysis, this group will become the main consumer demographic within two years, and your product positioning has completely failed to take this into account."
I picked up the laser pointer and highlighted several key figures on his meticulously prepared chart: "If we stick with the original plan, we'll lose at least 30% of our market share within two years, especially after Thompson Enterprises launches their new line."
Alexander Morgan abruptly stood up, a flash of shock in his eyes: "How did you know about Thompson's plans? That's classified information."
The air in the meeting room seemed frozen. I could feel everyone holding their breath, waiting for the storm to arrive. But I was unusually calm inside, because I knew this was the first step to changing my fate.
"I know far more than just this, President Gu." I smiled, my eyes flickering with all the wisdom and pain accumulated from my previous life, "For instance, I know that three months from now, you'll be attacked at a charity banquet, nearly losing your life."
This statement exploded like a bomb in the conference room. Alexander Morgan's expression shifted from shock to vigilance, his gaze becoming sharp as an eagle's.
"Everyone out," he suddenly commanded, "I need to speak with Miss Lin alone."
The executives exchanged glances, but no one dared to disobey his order. When the last person closed the door, Alexander Morgan walked up to me, his voice low and dangerous: "Who exactly are you?"
The distance between us was so close that we could feel each other's breath. The faint ambergris mixed with sandalwood scent from his body lingered at the tip of my nose, reminding me of intimate contact that never existed in my previous life.
"A person who died and came back to life," I answered calmly, "someone who came to change destiny."
