Chapter 215

Della’s POV

The sweet taste of love and freedom circled through my entire body as our lips collided. Thunder flew in my body, and butterflies ran wild in my guts. I had never felt as affected as before in a mere kiss. The bond of a fated mate was indeed surprising and surprisingly… much pleasurable.

My breathing became heavy and fast, especially when I felt his hand cursing through my body, feeling my curves with gentleness. I moaned in delight before I slowly pulled away to take a break.

I thought he’d pull away, but instead, he started sliding sweet, feathery kisses down to my jaw. His arm wrapped around my waist, pulling me close to his body. My chest collided with his, and my hands subconsciously slid up from his chest up around his nape, encouraging him for more kisses and playing with the ends of his hair.

Every inch of me started desiring more of him. All the sadness I was feeling was suddenly pushed to the side, and it was addicting. It’s amazing how all the pain just suddenly got bruised away.

It’s way better than any medicine there was, and I… I needed more. I need all the pain to go away.

Dominance came over me, and before I knew it, I was already on top of him, straddling and kissing him with an urge I never thought I had before.

Pulling away a bit for air, I stared at him while panting. “I swear… I won’t let you down. I’ll forget Kylian.”

His hand traced my cheek, pushing the strands that stuck to my face from sweat and putting it behind my ear. “You’ll heal. You’ll forget the pain of your bad relationship, so just take your time. I’m willing to wait for a lifetime for you… even when we get older.”

“He’s really the sweetest! The Moon Goddess blessed us with a great mate! We’re really lucky!” Trisha rejoice, making her feel more at heat just as I did.

I could see a hint of pain in Albert’s eyes as he saw through my pain, but he chose to understand me, and I couldn’t be more grateful for that, which made me even more eager to erase that pain from him just as he was doing to me.

“Thank you, Albert…” Right now, that’s all I could say, but soon, I knew it could turn into love.

Pleasing both of us, I leaned in and kissed him, letting the heat of the moment take over our bodies, pleasing us in every way we wanted.

“Aaden, careful!” I shouted from the kitchen when I heard my baby's angelic voice muttering words while playing with a bunch of toys in his playpen.

It’s been three years since I broke off things with Kylian and be with Albert. Things were going amazing, and the best thing that happened was Aaden.

From the kitchen, I stared at my two-year-old boy, who had fair skin and brown eyes and was innocently playing. A few days after the conference and my last phone call with Kylian, Albert and I moved to the extended mansion of the kingdom in the far province to lay low.

Not only would it be better to take care of Aaden here, but I also managed to handle all the work related to Wakeland remotely from here.

“Lots of things changed, huh?” Fae asked in a nostalgic tone as she sat in front of Aaden's playpen and started playing with her.

“Aunt Fae!” Aaden called out in excitement, spreading his arms wide and holding a puppy-stuffed toy in one hand.

Joining them, I placed the snacks and juice on the coffee table, replying, “It sure did.”

“Pee-ka-boo!” Diana shouted, suddenly resurfacing from the floor and onto the top of the playpen to show herself in front of Aaden, making him laugh so hard and throwing the stuffed toy at her in surprise.

“Aunt Diane!”

After everything that happened, Diana stayed with me and took care of me. Not only me, but she also took great care of Aaden, and I couldn’t be more thankful for her.

I knew that it was her job, but her care and sincerity were more than anyone. It’s all too genuine, and she goes beyond her job description, which made her my friend and family as well.

After Diana handed the toy back to Aaden, Fae suddenly teased her, “Did Henry come to see you recently?”

Diana’s cheek immediately turned red in shyness. “Beta Henry only approaches me so he can get intel about Princess Della on behalf of Alpha Kylian.”

As if realizing what she just said, her eyes widened, and she shook her head and waved her hands. “Oh! That’s not what I meant. I swear, I didn’t say anything I shouldn’t.”

I couldn’t help but smile at her cuteness. After taking a sip of my drink, I smiled and pushed her jokingly. “Henry likes you, that’s why he’s approaching you. It’s been so obvious for so long.”

Her ears reddened and the blush on her cheek deepened. “No, that’s absolutely impossible! I… I won’t like that arrogant and childish guy!”

She denied… quite obviously at that which made Fae and I laughed a bit.

With seriousness, I stared at her and calmly retorted, “Henry is a respected Beta. He is definitely not arrogant and is far from naive. Manybe you should seriously consider your relationship with him.”

“But…”

Shrugging, I continued, “Besides, there’s nothing for you to be worried about. His fated mate died in a car accident when he was eighteen. I don’t think you’ll go through any pain like I did.”

Years passed and so did the pain in me. Now, somehow, I’ve managed to move on to the point I could open the topic easily.

Diana went silent. The corner of her lisp dropped into a frown and the glint in her eyes dimmened. “But I’m just an omega… I can’t choose him. He’s a beta.”

Well, that’s what to be expected. I was about to explain to her that she was wrong and persuade her otherwise, but Albert suddenly walked in.

“I’m back!” he happily announced.

“Daddy!” Aaden happily shouted, throwing everything he had in his hand and urgently ran at the fence of the playpen, and spread his arms wide while looking at Albert with excitement.

With a massive smile, Albert placed the grocery he brought to the table and ran to carry Aaden up to embrace and kiss his cheek with so much love.

“How’s my baby boy?” Albert cooed before sitting beside me and kissing me in the side of my head.

Aaden wrapped his small arms around Albert’s nape and whispered in a loud voice, “Daddy, I heard maids say I don’t look like you…”

My heart skipped a beat as I stared at my son, who stared at Albert with so much curiosity and then continued to ask, “I heard I look like the Alpha of Dark Moon Pack instead?”

Nervousness surged in me while I stared at the puppy eyes of my son, staring lovingly and expectantly at his Daddy Albert for an answer.

Although Albert tried his best to be Aaden’s father in every aspect, in which he excelled, one thing remained a problem – Aaden just looked so much like Kylian, and there’s no denying that.

The glow in Albert’s face instantly vanished, and his jaw clenched.

For the past years, every time he’d heard someone talk about that, he’d be angry.

“Who said that?” he asked in pursed lips.
