I kept staring at her with confusion. What kind of a gift did she want to give Ralph that she was willing to risk breaking Ralph’s heart for that?
Stella’s breathing started to became fast as she looked at me with sadness in her eyes. Her chest rose and feel with her fast breaths as tears welled up in her eyes started to stream down her cheeks one after another.
“I…” Taking a deep breath, she continued, “I just want to give him a big ship! I want him to have something he can sail and have a team to operate it. Then… then I can take him on a sailing trip and…”
She looked up at me with so much sorrow.
Maybe just thinking about it saddened her so much. “And… I planned to propose to him while on the trip…”
To say I was bewildered was beyond it. I was even speechless to be exact, maybe even a little bit jealous.
Stella was the princess of the Lock Heart Pack. She’s bound to be a female alpha and help her brother to manage her father’s pack.
And yet, there she was willing to do anything just to fulfil her carefully planned proposal. And for an omega at that.
This time, I couldn’t help but look at her with so much admiration. With her status, appearance, and talents, she could get anyone she wanted to be with.
But no… All she wanted was her fated mate. She never looked down on his status and was even proud on him. She was also never embarrassed about who he was. She’s willing to announce to the entire world that he’s the one she love.
Envy surged in me even more. If only Kylian was just a quarter as good of a mate that Stella was, then maybe we would have been able to salvage our marriage.
But something remained strange.
I tilted my head, and asked, “How’s that connected to you seducing Kylian?”
With guilt reflecting in her eyes, she put her weight on her other leg and looked at me apologetically.
“It’s because of Prince Jackson…” she replied in a whisper that I almost weren’t able to hear. If my sense were not as sensitive, I wouldn’t probably able to catch that.
I took a step back in surprise. After a moment of being stunned, I furrowed my eyebrows, and asked, “My brother? What? Why? I mean…”
I was completely speechless. I knew that he wanted me to divorce Kylian and that he had been pushing me to fasten the process, but did he really had to go through such lengths after I promised him already that I’d do as he said?
Stella nodded.
Taking a deep breath, she continued and confessed, “Prince Jackson agreed to lend me his boat, which you know is very extravagant! But he said he’d only do that with one condition – I must come to the Dark Moon Pack and deepen the conflict between you and Kylian so you’ll get divorced as planned.”
“What?” I wasn’t actually asking, but I couldn’t help but said that out of my shock from her revelation.
"Della! You finally got the time to contact me, huh?"
"Hey, Jackson. I just got… a bit occupied."
"Occupied… Should I spell out what you were occupied about? I'm pretty sure with all that noise, it's something fun."
"You promised me before you left. You said you'll divorce him and that's why you're there. Tell me, are there any changes of plan that I need to know about?"
"I know. And there's no change of plan. What are you thinking? I'm just passing some time while I'm here."
"What a way to pass your time."
"Look, I'm just treating him as a sex toy, okay? I'm horny, he's there, so might as well–"
"For the love of the moon goddess, halt it! I don't want to hear such details from my sister!"
Suddenly, I remembered what happened when Kylian and I had a sex at the greenhouse when Jackson suddenly called.
I knew that Jackson heard my moans before I managed to end the call. I could still vividly remember that night. I was so nervous that Jackson would be so mad at me. But unexpectedly, he just teased me about it and that’s it.
I found it weird at first because based on my understanding of him, he would of scolded me so much and took me forcefully back to the kingdom castle.
But later on, I thought that he just probably trust me enough that time to know that I’d keep my promise to him. I didn’t expect that he only seemed unconcern because he was already plotting something behind my back.
Now, everything became more clear and I understand things better.
He wasn’t angry, but he wasn’t also at peace about it. Hence, he just thought of manipulating things behind the scene. And Stella became his perfect tool for that.
“I can’t believe him…” I whispered, a little bit disoriented as I shook my head and clenched my fist.
“And…” Stella looked down on the ground, looking at bit shame.
After thanking a long deep breath, she looked back up to me and said, “Before… I deceived Kylian into something that really put gaps on you.”
Raising an eyebrow, I asked, “What is it?”
I already had a hunch as she sent me pictures of her and Kylian… But I still waited for her to elaborate it further.
“I told him that as long as he shows affection for another women, it would arose your competitive state as a woman as you get jealous. That you’ll realize that you didn’t want him to be with another and be with again… I planned that so you guys will misunderstand each other and your relationship will be ruined…”
She confessed with sadness in her eyes. As she finished, she looked down, feeling guilty.
“B-but then… I also learned in the process that he’s not worthy to be with you – the Lycan princess…” she started shy, the continued with firmness while using her dominance as a female alpha, “He’s a jackass!”
