Chapter 144

My wolf was right. Indeed, it’d be a win-win situation… but it’s a pity because no matter what happens, no one could replace Della, not in my eyes and definitely not in my heart.
For me, they’re nothing alike. Not even the slightest bit.
“Come on!” Under the heat of desire, my wolf kept pushing me to that greedy woman. He was circling around in my mind, feeling restless and on heat.
I was feeling the same way, but I knew better than to let my emotions control me. I’d stay rational and not let desire defeat me.
“Shut the hell up!” I cursed and completely shut him off, but not after I heard his whimper.
I felt him trying to break the barrier so he could persuade me further, but I stood my ground.
Holding her by the neck, I lifted up the woman who dared to copy Della, making her scream in pain. She gasped for air and tried to struggle so hard, but I was far stronger than her.
“You can never be like her!” I told her as I tightened my hold on her neck, suffocating her.
“D–ella and I a-are the s-same… W-were b-both o-omeg-as,” she said despite being struggled by me and being a foot up in the air. Tears streamed down her eyes, and her body trembled, but she kept insisting on something impossible.
My hand tightened on her neck even tighter, and I pushed her against the wall. The impact was so hard that she winced in pain.
“Shut the fuck up!” My eyes were glazing with fire as I stared her down. She trembled in fear and squirmed back, but she had nowhere to go.
“If you ever compare yourself to Della again, I’ll tear you to pieces!” I threatened.
“I– ugh…” her mouth opened, and her hands moved in the air, trying to push me away and stop me from struggling with her.
Her lips started to turn blue, and her eyes bulged open, begging me.
“I’ll ask one last time. Who sent you here?” I asked word for word. Her hand tightened on mine as she tried to push my hand away.
“Answer me!” I shouted, keeping my face closer to her and sending her a menacing glare that made her gasp even more.
The packhouse and my bedroom were heavily guarded. No one had the right getting in my room but Della, Henry, or my father, not to mention sending a whore here...
If I wasn’t so drunk, I would have noticed it the moment I first laid my eyes on this woman. After all, Della would never break in here, much less to seduce me.
The woman let out a series of painful whimpers, and with tears streaming down her cheeks, she finally said with difficulty, “It’s S-sir. Luke.”
After throwing her to the ground, she held her neck with a bruise on it and desperately grasped for air. Opening my bedroom door, I called for guards. “Take her away!” I ordered.
The guards looked inside with shock in their faces but went back to reality immediately and followed my order. Once gone, I went back to the bathroom.
Because of the insolent woman’s stunt earlier, I was still hard and arose. “Damn her!”
Breathing heavily, I removed my robe and laid down on the tub. With my eyes closed, I recounted the moments I had with Della. All our intimate nights and all our kisses. Her red cheeks and voluptuous lips were so sweet to kiss.
Her every heavy breath and moans of ecstasy.
Keeping her face in a flash on my mind, my hand slowly went to my dick, and I started masturbating.
My breath got heavy as I moaned in pleasure, tightening my hold and fastening my movements. I went on until I climaxed and ejaculated, which relaxed my tensed body. But it’s nothing but a relief and not satisfaction.
Could I ever be satisfied again when I could no longer be intimate with the only woman I love?
After showering, I put on a pair of pants and a shirt, which I mindlessly grabbed from my closet and went down to the living room right after.
Sitting on the sofa, I saw Henry waiting with a stern face while staring at the shivering woman in front of him. On the carpet, I saw the woman on her knees while wearing a pair of clothes designated for slaves like her, like she should.
Looking at her face, which seemed similar to Della made me sick. The audacity she had to seduce me with that fake scent and face made me speechless.
How shameless she could be to even think of doing that. It’s a pity that she overestimated herself to think she could succeed when she couldn’t even be compared to Della’s toe.
When he saw me, Henry stood up and asked, “What happened? What’s going on? Who’s this woman?”
“That trash was sent by my father,” I said while pointing menacingly at the woman.
She lowered her head. “I… I was just…”
Throwing her a glare, I said, “Didn’t I tell you to shut the hell up?”
Shock surfaced on Henry’s face. “What will you do?”
Narrowing my eyes, I replied, “I’d confront him and ask what he had planned to do.”
“And this woman?” Henry asked when I was halfway to leaving. I looked back and saw her pointing at her.
“Hold her and imprison her until I think straight before I kill her this instant.”
The woman’s cry intensified, but I couldn’t care less about that.
These few days, I couldn’t help but observe how my dad had been getting stranger over the days. He became completely different from the father and the alpha, who was engraved in my memory.
My heart tightened at that. My great faith that my father wouldn’t do anything careless that would jeopardize the pack put a greater gap between me and Della.
Could Della be really right? Was my father doing things that he shouldn’t be doing?
“Maybe Della was right… maybe I should pay more attention to my father’s actions.” With that thought in mind, I opened the door and went to look for my father.
