When I saw who was at the door, I kept myself busy and absently browsed through my emails even though all my attention was focused on Stella and Diana.
I wasn’t even able to react when Stella called because Diana was already up on her feet and was at Stella’s front in a matter of seconds.
In my peripheral vision, I could see how Diana strictly stood in front of her to block her path from me, and how she put her hands on her hips to be more intimidating.
I applauded silently in my heart. Bravo Diana!
“What are you doing here? What do you want?” Diana asked aggressively.
“Get out of the way!” Stella tried to push her to the side but Diana won’t budge.
“Not a chance! Leave!”
“Please… Della… I need to talk to you!” Stella anxiously shouted as her panic already showed. She was pushing Diana with all her might, and struggling so hard to continue forward toward me.
I kept silent, continuing to browse through my email.
“I can’t let Ralph see me here! Please… I beg you… Please talk to me!”
Diana glanced back at me. I stopped what I was doing.
I knew that even if I didn't do anything, Diana would never let Stella in.
But Stella is the daughter of Alpha after all. If the stalemate continued, Stella might break in and hurt Diana. I couldn’t just watch that and remain indifferent.
I took a sip of coffee and said loudly to Diana, "Diana, I don't want to see anyone. If anyone wants to break in, just pour the mopping water on him!"
Stella was stunned, she didn’t expect my attitude to be so decisive.
"You heard that, Miss Stella. Leave now! She doesn’t want to see you!”
With one last push with all her might, Diana was able to push her back out of the door.
“Just leave!” With that last phrase, Diana closed the door.
Stella had no plan to give up, and kept knocking on the door. “Please don’t do this. Don’t let him come here! He can’t see me here! Della, please!”
I placed my phone down and kept acting deaf.
Why should I give her mercy when she didn’t think once about my sake? When she went on and tried to convert her ways to Kylian, Luke, and the Dark Moon Pack?
Though Kylian and I were in the process of getting divorce, we still hadn’t officially done it. As a decent woman, she should know how to give respect to her fellow woman.
How could she dare kiss him right in front of me? How dare she push me to hasten the divorce with Kylian? What right did she have to act like she’s already the Luna of this pack?
Help her? Over my dead body.
I couldn’t wait to see her fated mate Ralph’s reaction when he came and see what ridiculous things she was doing here.
I leaned back on my chair until she stopped knocking and finally gave up.
After she left, Diana went on with what she was doing and came back with a plate of minced fruits.
“Here, have some of this for your dessert.”
I looked up at her with a sweet smile. “Thank you, Diana. You’re the best!” I exclaimed.
She happily accepted my compliment and stood at the wall beside the table, leaning on it.
Looking right at me, she spoke, “She looked so anxious. Panic even. She must really not want Ralph to come in here.”
Grabbing a minced orange with the fruit fork, I put one on my mouth and chewed on it before I replied, “She should be.”
Diana looked at me, as if asking why.
So, I added, “Everyone here is already treating her like she’s the new Luna even though I’m still here. Once Ralph comes here, he will find out what Stella is exactly doing.”
Nodding with understanding, Diana asked, “So, this is all part of your plan?”
“If Ralph comes here and questions her, she’ll be forced to admit why she really came here and tried to destroy my relationship with Kylian more than it already was,” I explained.
“You’re really great, Ms. Della!” she exclaimed, and I simply nodded.
It’s a move that would end up hurting someone innocent, but it’s the best thing to do in this situation. We need to know Stella’s real motive.
“I still have some laundry to do, so I’ll leave you to eat first, then.”
After Diana left, I grabbed my phone again and dialed Tory's number.
“Hello? Princess Della?” He greeted me as soon as he answered his phone.
With dominance, I commanded, “I need you to investigate the connection between the Crimson Pack and Luke. He’s proposing a collaboration with them as the Dark Moon Pack’s supplier and it's suspicious. Such a pack is not suitable to be their supplier in any aspect.”
When I heard a sigh in his voice, I knew something was up.
“You know something, don’t you?” I stated.
With a sigh, he answered, “The King and Prince also noticed this. The Crimson Pack seems suspiciously close to Luke recently. We even got a report that the Crimson Pack even bribed Luke. It will take some time to get significant evidence though, Princess.”
I nodded. It just confirmed that there was indeed something big happening.
“Send me that evidence as soon as possible.”
“Yes, Princess. I’ll do as you ask.”
After hanging up the phone, I placed it down on the table as I fell deep into my thoughts.
What Troy told me gave me more motivation and reason. I have to do whatever it takes to stop the Crimson Pack from infiltrating the Dark Moon Pack.
I also had to find a way to gather as much evidence as I could about Luke and Crimson Pack’s collaboration to present to Kylian.
It might be cruel for Kylian to know what his father really is, but I have to do it.
From birth, Kylian grew up under Luke's oppression.
He longed for his father's love, but all he got was Luke's crazy suppression.
He was imprisoned and beaten. And his weak and selfish mother would only take out the violence and unfair treatment she received from Luke on Kylian.
So his childhood had always left a dark shadow in him, making him fear and blindly obedient toward Luke. Even though he has become an Alpha.
In fact, Kylian is very powerful. If he wanted and really put his mind into it, he could even kill Luke and drive him out of the pack with ease.

Once Kylian learns the truth about his father and his dealings with the Crimson pack, Kylian would have to change his ways for the future of his pack.
He’ll have to overcome his fear of his father and do what he must for the sake of his pack.
Luke and Crimson Pack should be stopped.
