Chapter 104

Della’s POV

As I was dragging her, Diana had no choice but to follow me.

Behind, she kept on speaking, “Ms. Della, please, let’s just go back. They are just low-lifes who are way too vulgar. You don’t need to associate and bother yourself because of them.”

I didn’t listen to her and kept going.

“I know… I know how great you are, and I believe in your abilities. But you have to think about your pup. You need to be cautious. The first two months of pregnancy are the most risky. You might face mental shock and physical injury, which can lead to miscarriage…” she diligently reminded me, and then I stopped walking.

I grabbed my phone from my pocket and handed it over to Diana. “Here, take a video secretly, and don’t think of anything else.”

Letting go of Diana’s hand, I started walking when Trisha, my wolf, suddenly warned me, “Della, your pregnancy is affecting our abilities. If we fight, it may hurt our puppy.”

I smirked. “Don’t you believe me?”

Trisha laughed. “You’ve been the Lycan since your birth. Of course, you’re all powerful! The more powerful in the kingdom, and favored most by the King.”

She continued teasing, “If you didn’t fall for Kylian, you wouldn’t be bullied by anyone even if you weren’t a princess. They overestimate themselves too much, thinking you’re weaker than them.”

“Oh, shut up.” I scolded.

Finally, we arrived at the entrance, with Diana walking far behind me so others wouldn’t know.

The dinner was already over, and in the middle of the lawn, I found Nancy with a dozen omegas surrounding her.

Nancy was laughing while her goons were throwing praises at her.

I stood at the side where they wouldn’t see me. On my back, I signaled Diana to start recording, which she had already done.

Nancy and those other omegas were happily gossiping around, but what irritated me most was the fact that everything they were talking about was made-up stories.

“Is that real? What happened?” An omega who was sitting on the lawn while looking up at Nancy with envy asked with great interest.

It seemed like Nancy liked the question as much as she liked the evident envy showing in their eyes.

Twirling her hair with her fingers, she dreamingly said, “Albert is a really nice and sweet man. He just couldn’t resist me! He likes me so much that it's almost as though he is obsessed with me.”

Hearing her giggle at her fantasy made me clenched my hands into a fist. She’s really delusional.

But those omegas around her immediately cheered with awe. They envied her, and they went closer to her.

“Wow! You’re so lucky!”

“Yes, very lucky! He’s a man of higher ranks. You’re amazing!”

“That’s because she’s beautiful.”

Then, Nancy scoffed and rolled her eyes with disgust. “But that wanna be Luna, Della, is so jealous that she’s trying to ruin what I have with Albert.”

“What?”

“How dare she! What did she do?”

Crossing her arms over her chest, Nancy went on, “She kept seducing Albert! I even saw with my own eyes how she was whoring herself in Albert’s bed! She’s really a slut!”

I scoffed! I couldn’t believe her! Her audacity to make up stories was beyond me.

Her goons though believed her lie so easily.

“How dare she!”

“Right? She’s really disgusting!”

“She doesn’t deserve to be the Luna of our pack.”

“She should be cast out.”

“That’s her true colors! I even start to feel that Albert is my fated mate by how much he seems to be so irresistible to my charm.” Nancy then added, “And there’s something more, her servant is a huge bitch!”

Rolling her eyes, Nancy said, “It’s really a pity. I was only able to tear her clothes today. I wasn’t able to make her run naked.” She even let out a sigh of dismay.

Her nerve was really talking tall in me.

I looked at Diana’s direction and saw how her hands tightened on my phone. She was furious, and so was I.

“I think that’s enough proof,” I said in a low voice, ready to show myself and teach Nancy a lesson.

“Please, Ms. Della, let’s just go back,” she said and motioned toward my stomach to remind me that I needed to be more careful with my pup’s sake.

I took a deep breath as pain struck in my heart. I felt so guilty that Diana had to endure so much pain because of me.

Without further due, I walked straight to the lawn and slapped Nancy straight to her face as much as I could vent my anger.

The intensity of my slap made her turn to the side, and she almost fell. However, I grabbed her collar and lifted her up in the air.

I could hear shouts of panic from the bystanders, but I couldn’t care less about them.

Leaning forward, I asked near her ear, “What do you think I’ll do with you, huh?”

Then, I prolonged my claws, which touched her neck. She gasped in surprise and fear, but she couldn’t speak a word.

The others couldn’t possibly see it, but with anger in my eyes, I started slitting her throat in a shallow manner, just enough to make her bleed but not kill her.

Nancy sneered at me. “You cannot just kill me.” With gritted teeth, she continued, “Alpha Kylian will be mad if you do.”

With my other hand, I put my claws on her chest, ready to insert her heart. I used my body to hide my actions from the eyes of others, and said, “According to the pack law, insulting a Luna is tantamount to the death penalty. Whether your tiny brain wants it or not, I am still your Luna.”

Just as the tip of my claws was about to dip even more into her chest and into her heart, I saw how Nancy closed her eyes, ready to face her death.

However, a voice stopped me mid-way.

“Unfortunately, you won’t be the Luna soon.”

Turning my head to look at the owner of the voice, I saw an older woman who seemed to be in her forties. She’s fat, and she has wrinkles and freckles on her face. There were even a few scars on her. I could say that she’s the opposite of pretty.

She’s wearing sweatpants and a baggy shirt paired with a sneaker. With a mocking gloom on her face, she said to me, “You should know it by now. You won’t be Luna soon, so stop bullying your fellow omegas. Once you get dethroned from your privileged title as Luna, you’ll face more misery and death once you get back to being a low-life omega.”

I narrowed my eyes at her. I knew who she was.

She’s Abigail, the head of the Omegas in the entire pack.

I looked at her and said, “As the manager, you should teach these other omegas a lesson for being rude and disrespectful instead of spreading baseless rumors and slandering a Luna.”

With gritted teeth and narrowed eyes, I angrily let go of Nancy, who fell on the ground on all fours and coughed miserably.

With reluctance, two other omegas came to her aid, helping her to stand.

Abigail let out a mocking laugh. “You really think so highly of yourself, don’t you? Let’s settle this then…”

She spread her arms, showing how many of them were there while only one of me was there. Clearly, I was outnumbered.

“Bow your head on me in submission and begged me. Then, I’ll let you leave unharmed. Otherwise, you’ll have to fight every omega here.”

At my peripheral vision, I saw how Diana got furious and ready to attack and help me. I discreetly shook my head and told her not to make a move.

Bow my head to her? It was a real misfortune for her not to know who I was.

Sarcastically smiling, I replied to Abiligail with confidence, “Over my dead body.”

“Did you hear that? She thinks she’s better than us! Let’s teach her a lesson, shall we?” Abigail commanded, and numerous omegas immediately surrounded me.

"Of course! I'm going to blow this bitch's brain!"

"That's right. What else can she do besides say cruel words? Can she break my neck?"

"Oh bitch, come and lick my feet, I can let you go."

They approached, laughing with mockery, seeing me as a weakling and easy prey.

I laughed too.

Come on then, silly girls.
