Chapter 54

The phone in my hand rang signaling me that there was an incoming call.

"What?" I answered harshly.

There was a silence a very long one that it made me remove the phone to my ears checking if he didn't cut it.

"What part of forget me don't you get Samuel when I say it is over it means that it is over I don't even want to talk to you.

Just forget my number and everything related to me.

You can burn my cloths by the way" I said telling him what I have been saying for the last two weeks that he has been calling me.

"At least tell me where you are" he asked sounding desperate.

I shook my head in disbelief.

"Do you think that I am stupid or are you trying to make sure your personal tracker got my address properly" I asked getting frustrated.

Did he think that I was stupid.

Sighing in annoyance I looked down at my fluffy slippers and my newly done toe nails that I did everything I could to avoid bumping my leg so that they break.

I placed the phone in my purse then continued my walk outside when the elevator doors opened.

Feeling the wind blow my new weave I started walking towards the taxis that made a bee line each waiting for any client.

Calling one I instructed him him where I was going as he nodded his carefully listening to my blabbers.

Since I have arrived here I have been so talkative.

When I got here I didn't cry no I was actually relieved.

I knew it was selfish of me to do what I did but my anger and rage got the best of me I even cursed so many times until I groaned discovering that many people probably heard me.

The person I didn't get was Abelardo what was wrong with him.

I literally told him that I didn't want to speak to him but all he did was blow up my phone with unimportant messages and phone calls.

Now thinking of it I realised that my mom never called me since I got here.

I didn't know if she was mad or disappointed but I hopped age wasn't any of that but the worry never went away.

I was slightly worried about her.

She was the best therapist for her children and always helped me in making decisions that I felt like it was too much for my shoulder to carry.

That fact that she hasn't called me in two weeks got me worried she always made sure to call once in a week or twice but now that was too much.

I decided to leave that matter for that later hours as I tipped the driver sliding out of the car.

Feeling the wind blow my hair more and more I took the scenery before me.

Sand and more sand as I took steps forward.

The coconut trees giving a breeze that made me relaxed and less tense.

As the music blasted in the loud speakers that were placed all around the place I bubbed my head to the beats then found a place to place to sit.

As I sat on one of the high chairs I waited that a waiter notices me and comes in my way.

Not even a minute later one of the tan caramel waiter was standing before me with the greatest smile looking in my way.

His long curly hair was wild against his head and neck a little bit of facial hair growing on his sharp jaw with his handsome face it made me him look extra handsome.

I kept a big smile on my face looking at him I wasn't attracted to him because even though I acted like a five Years old I still had eyes on my man and no man gonna change that.

"I'll have the fruit cocktail with tangerine on the side" I said looking at him who smiled again and nodded before leaving.

I switched on my phone looking for any news but all I found was nothing.

Completely nothing.

I have blocked most of my contacts for incase they wanted to call me and scold at me for what I did.

I had no data nor WiFi was connected.

I didn't want to know anything but I knew better than to block one person.

My mother

And that one person hasn't even made an attempt to call me.

Putting my phone back down I locked it and focused on my now water dripping cocktail as I squeezed the tangerine in it.

Mixing with the straw I took a suck on the black round straw.

Feeling the sweetness go down my throat I could feel the coldness even inside my stomach.

They made the best fruit cocktails here and what I lived the most was buying coconuts with straws and drinking the salty water of it.

Hearing my phone vibrate I looked at the name on it and flipped it back when I saw that it was abelardo.

How he could access to my phone while I blocked him was still a mystery for me.

Scanning through the menu nothing seemed to sound good inside my stomach.

Deciding on the fried Alfredo onions with fried sweetpotatoes I handed back the menu.

After a while my food was right in front of me smelling like heaven I dug in feeling the taste bubble in my mouth.

With my plate clear I kept my tip on the small handmade basket with the white small paper.

Checking if at the coconut place there was any taxi available I sighed knowing I wash going to get one because the last one was just taken.

I started walking down the street looking for a taxi.

The bus drivers whistling checking if I was going with them and the passing motorcycles doing the same.

Stopping at the taxi stop where almost all the taxis were standing near the café.
