Feeling that she was going to stab him, Ahren lowered his head. His heart was hammering against his chest, he tried to remember when he killed her parents but he couldn't because he had killed so many people. But he can be sure that he had never harmed people who lived peacefully and without any fault.

If he had ever killed her parents, it was obvious that they did wrong things or they betrayed their pack. While he was thinking, he waited until the knife pierced him but it never happened. Instead of piercing him, it fell down. Raising his head, he looked at Atarah who was sobbing covering her face. He knew it, she couldn't hurt him. They were mates and he just marked her.

"I… can't… he's my mate" her voice was brittle and broken. She sobbed as she looked at Ahren. His heart tightened and at the same time, he felt happiness inside of his heart because she said that he was her mate.

"Useless trash." his heart turned cold hearing what Demir said. Ahren waited for a while because his wolf was healing his body. But before he could do anything, Atarah just grabbed the silver knife that a vampire was pressing against his neck and threw it away. Her hand burned because of the silver and she hissed from pain.

"She's here, Ahren. Your mother is here." his mind went blank hearing her. He subconsciously stood up pushing those two vampires away. He stared at Atarah's face thinking if he heard right or not. Then she parted her lips to speak again but she was ruthlessly grabbed by Demir as he covered her mouth and pushed her towards a strong well built man.

"Take her and fuck her until she dies!" Demir roared. Then the man caught her and covered her mouth with one hand as he dragged her away. Looking at the way she was dragged by the man, Ahren's heart was covered with fury.

"Let her go! I'm warning you!" Ahren walked towards Demir and grabbed him by his hair as he pulled his hair making him groan from pain. But ignoring his words, the man dragged Atarah away. Ahren clenched his jaws and waited. It was time for his father and beta to come here now. They were killing all the vampires outside of the palace so he was the only one who entered here wanting to take her away.

"Let her go!" Ahren froze, he heard a familiar voice. He slowly raised his head and looked at the woman who was looking at Atarah with reddened eyes. His heart went crazy, he clenched his jaws and watched her as if he was in daze. He couldn't believe it, he just couldn't believe his eyes.

"Momma?" he subconsciously uttered as he pushed Demir away and walked towards her in daze. He forgot everything, all he had on his mind was the woman who was standing a few feet away from him.

As he walked towards her and looked at her, her eyes slowly fell on him. Her ocean blue eyes, he remembered them, he loved them and he always wanted to see them looking at him. His eyes turned red and tears filled them seeing her. Her eyes are still as gorgeous as ever. But how come? She left him for eighteen years.

"Ahren, you've grown up." she walked towards him and hugged him as she buried her face against his chest. He was a lot taller than her, his body was muscular and strong. She felt the same feeling when she was hugging Ascian. Her son had become like his father.

"Momma is it you?" he asked, hugging her back. He hugged her so tightly. His heart was filled with both happiness and pain. He just didn't want the thing he was feeling now to be a dream or an illusion. He had dreamt about her countless times so he knew how hurt and empty he was once he woke up from the sleep.

"Hmm. It's me!" She broke the hug and smiled at him. Seeing her smiling, Ahren felt that he won the whole world. He watched her face and smiled like a little boy. He really missed her. He just really missed her more than anything in this world.

"Take Atarah with you" suddenly she looked away from him and looked at Atarah as she muttered. Hearing her, Ahren's heart clenched. He immediately turned and looked at Atarah. He froze seeing her face had turned red because the man was squeezing her neck.

"Mirela you want me to kill you son in front of your eyes?" At the same time, he heard Demir's voice. Clenching his fists, he ignored him before walking towards the man who was hurting Atarah. Sharpening his claws, he pierced his nails into the man's neck and pulled his claws out leaving the man collapsed on the floor.

Ahren was a well trained werewolf, no one can see how fast he was and how dangerous his actions were. He didn't waste two seconds to kill the man and grabbed Atarah from him. Atarah was utterly shocked because of his speed movements. No wonder why they feared him, that's all she could think.

"Go with mom, I'll come." He muttered looking at her. Atarah subconsciously nodded and looked at Mirela as she went to her and caught her hand.

"Mom, dad is outside." Ahren looked at Mirela and smiled. He was just so fucking happy to see his mother after eighteen years and he had so many questions to ask from her but he bet that his father would be the happiest one to see her alive like this.

Mirela smiled at him and nodded. Then Ahren's eyes fell on Demir who was looking at Mirela with weird eyes, knowing that he was going to do something to her. Ahren shifted into his wolf and pounded onto him as Demir sharpened his claws and pierced Ahren's wolf's shoulder.

A painful whimper escaped from his wolf, vampires nails are the most dangerous things and they were sharp and long. His wolf was furious and at the same time, he was hurt remembering Ascian and how Ascian suffered without Mirela. Even though he didn't know what happened exactly he knew it had something to do with this bastard.

Gritting his teeth, he bit Demir's neck as he cried from pain. At the same time a grey color wolf came from nowhere and attacked Demir furiously. Ahren was shocked seeing that he was not someone he knew. But he was helping him so he ignored who he was.

"Emres! What are you doing here?" He heard Atarah's fear filled voice. Emres! Hearing the name, Ahren knew who he was. A growl escaped from the wolf as he looked at Atarah. Because he looked at her, Demir pushed him away. Demir's hands grew bigger as if he was turning to someone else.

'Dad… come quickly. Need your help' he mind linked Ascian as he used his strength not to let Demir shift into his vampire form. Looking at Atarah and Mirela, Ahren's heart turned cold. He wanted to protect them both. He didn't want anything to happen to them. One was his mother while the other one was his mate.

'Coming' he sighed in relief hearing Ascian's voice. At the same time, his wolf was pushed away and Demir turned into his vampire. Looking at him, Ahren felt disgusted. But Demir didn't pay attention to him, all his attention was forced on Mirela. Ahren knew it, Demir's priority was Mirela. And his target was Mirela.

Soon, he saw Atarah was shifting into her wolf. Seeing her wolf, Ahren's wolf giggled. She was just simply gorgeous. She was both a snow white and grey mixed wolf. So lovely and cute. She had a triangle shaped grey patch from her neck to chest which made her looks so powerful and elegant.

She let out a growl as she walked in front of Mirela and protected her. Ahren's heart was covered with a satisfied feeling as he saw her protecting his mother.
