Chapter 136

Golden's POV.

The most awaited day of my daughter came. Elaine and Gab helped us in putting up a big celebration for her. Miracle is already popular to the kingdom. Everyone knows her for being the cute little bird dragon who flies around while pranking the other Chosens.

She's bubbly and friendly. Everyone loves her and that's why I'm not surprised when I found out that the castle is planning a huge celebration for her.

"Do you think Miracle will like these?" Elaine asked for who knows how many times already.

She's been trying out different gifts that she personally made for my daughter's birthday. I genuinely think that Miracle will love everything she'll received. She grew up being thankful to every small little things we give her. I want her to be grateful.

"You know exactly what kind of child she is. She'll jump in joy in everything that you give to her," I replied. The two corners of my lips lifted when she pouted her lips.

"I want her to be more happier in my gift than anybody else's. Tch! I'm going to be her most favorite godmother. You'll see." Elaine wiggled her brows. I just nodded, so she can stop worrying about what to give to Miracle.

Speaking of Miracle. Our little princess is still sleeping in her room. Being a bird and dragon. She's always sleepy most of the time. Even in her own birthday. Damon is taking care of our daughter while I'm busy preparing for the small party. I'm not alone. I literally have the whole castle with me.

Damon and I decided to throw a little party here before going to Dragonia Kingdom.

I am so excited to meet Crystal.

"Oh-ma?" a little voice called. I turned around to see my sleepy little princess. She looks like she just woke up from a deep sleep. "Oh-da is still sleeping in the room. I got dressed by myself because I don't want to be late." I smiled when she walked towards me and bury her face on my tummy. "Oh-da is a bad playmate. He sleeps more than me."

I chuckled softly while brushing her hair.

"Awww. I feel bad for my princess. Should I punish, oh-da?" I asked. She giggles in my tummy. I smiled when she lifted her head to look at me. Her cheeks are puffy and red you'll mistake it as red muffins. "Are you excited, Miracle?" I asked softly. She's still staring at me like I'm the most beautiful living thing she sees in the world.

"Oh-ma?" she called.

"Yes, baby?"

"Are we celebrating in Dragonia Kingdom?" she asked. I can see the hint of fear in her eyes. I remember he getting scared when one of her playmates gave her a bad impression of dragonians. He said to her that dragons eat small little children like her. It scared her so much that he asked if her oh-da will eat her.

I had to make that kind withdraw what he said to her, but it never disappeared in Miracle's thoughts since that day.

"That's where your oh-da lives. Don't you want to see your grandparents?" I asked in a sweet voice. She pouted her cute little lips.

"Of course, I do, oh-ma. But I'm scared that the kid's tale is true," she said while still pouting cutely. I gently pinched her cute cheeks.

"Oh-da is a dragonian. Do you think oh-da will eat you?" She shakes her head. "Exactly, baby. And no vortans will eat a cute little princess like you, hmm? Now, go to your favorite godmother. She'll help you set up your look," I said sweetly and gently pushed her to Elaine. Miracle cheerfully waves her hand at me.

I heaved a deep sigh when she finally turned around from me.

"Looks like his father fell asleep while watching her again. I don't even know if he's really watching her. Tch."

"Of course, I'm watching Miracle." My ears twitched when a deep voice whispered in my ears. The next thing I felt is his hands snaking sneakily into my waist. I smiled when he kissed my neck. "Good morning, baby."

"I'm not your baby. Miracle is the real baby."

"Oh, you're my second baby."

He laughed sexily. I turned my body to face him. Damon has changed in the past five years. He became more handsome and sexy for some reason. He put his forehead to mine. Seeing him up close. I still get the butterflies in my stomach.

"Are you sure you want to take our daughter there?" he asked in a worried voice. His green eyes are staring directly at mine. "You know that me and my step family haven't made up yet. I don't want to put our daughter in an environment she'd be uncomfortable at."

I heaved a deep sigh. I pulled away from him and continue fixing the flowers on the long table.

"She's more of a dragonian than a chosen, Damon, and you know that very well. I don't want her to grow far from the place where she truly belongs."

He stood beside me. "She can be both dragonian and chosen." There's a hint of persuasion in his voice.

This has been an issue to our family to be honest. I'm always thinking whether Miracle is a chosen or a dragonian. I tried observing her and I found out that she's more of a dragonian than a chosen. She flies around and blows fire when she can. It's something dragonians love to do.

We're the first interracial couple in Vortaxia that had successfully produced an offspring. Vortans believed that it is impossible, but we're the living proof of it.

"Please, stop thinking about what's more and what's less. Remember that borders have been removed for a reason, Golden. We're no longer separated from the other kingdoms. We're one big family here in Vortaxia."

My brows arched. The thing he said made me realize one thing.

We have united the four kingdoms in Vortaxia just like what God Gaviel predicted.
