"You convinced who?" Elaine blurted. All of them are giving me strange looks on their faces. I smiled sweetly and repeated the name of the Vortan I just convinced.
"I convinced God Hlaford to let the Chosens train!" I clapped excitedly and hugged Elaine. Her lips parted. They were still silent while I'm jumping in joy. What the heck do they think they're doing?
"I would really appreciate it if you give me a reaction," I scoffed. Damon looked at me blankly. "What?" I asked.
My eyes widened when he suddenly pulled me. He brought me to a corner where we're far away from the two. I lifted my head to look at him. Damon clenched his jaw.
"What did you say?" he snarled.
I looked at him strangely and answer his question. "I—I said I convinced Hlaford to let the Chosens train," I repeated. He frustratingly threaded his fingers through his hair and look at me like I just messed everything up.
"You're joking, right?" he said.
"No."
"Fuck," he cussed. I squeezed my eyes shut when he suddenly punch the wall beside me. Why is he getting so worked up? Wasn't he the one acting all mad earlier when Hlaford told us to stop the quest?
"What is wrong with you?!" I finally got the courage to ask him that. He frantically looked at me.
"What's wrong with me?" he slurred. "You're the wrong one in here, Golden." He clicked his tongue and glared at me. What the—
"Excuse me?" I sarcastically said. He didn't reacted and just continue glaring at me. Is he fucking serious right now? "D—Don't talk to me. I don't want to see your face." I wiped my tears away and turned around.
I was about to leave when he said something that my body frozen. "They'll die anyway. Why bother?"
W—What?
"Baby?"
"Babe?"
"Golden?"
My eyes opened in an instant when I felt a warm touch on my lips. Damon's face greeted me. His eyes are closed while kissing me.
"Good morning!" he said cheerfully.
He pulled his face away from me and helped me get up. I scanned the place to see my stuffs and the normal setup if our room.
It was a dream.
"How's your sleep?" he asked while carrying a small foldable table. He prepared a breakfast in bed for me. How sweet.
"I had a bad dream," I replied sadly. He arched his brows and put the table on my lap. I smiled when I saw cute pancakes. "You made these?" I asked. He nodded his head sheepishly.
"Bubbles helped me."
Aww! That's cute. They're getting along together, huh? That's nice.
"So, you dreamed about?"
I stopped from putting foods inside my mouth when he asked me that. I stared at him for a few moments before answering.
"That all of you were upset when I told you that God Hlaford agreed on making the Chosens fight," I replied honestly. He smiled shortly and wiped the corner of my lips.
"That's the exact opposite of what happened. We were happy. If it weren't for you, Chosens would be watching the menaces kill them one by one." He smiled handsomely and licked the thumb he used to wipe the corner of my lips. Such a charmer.
I enjoyed eating his food. Although, some sides were burned and bitter. All in all, I appreciated his efforts so much.
Damon woke me up early because we will be training a class today. It includes Elaine and Gab. I know for sure that this day will be exhausting and fun at the same time. It's just like my old high school days where we were group to do such activities. This one is pretty serious, of course.
"Hello everyone! Some of you may know us already. I am Golden Young and the intimidating guy beside me is Damon Felono," I said. All of them are looking at us. It's my first time to be on a floating platform. "You guys know that we're the first interracial couple in Vortaxia. We were called the prophecy's children and we're more than willing to do our job and teach you the lessons we've learned from our dear God of Classife, Diante."
I smiled shortly when I saw the changes on their smile. The atmosphere turned down instantly, but Elaine immediately uplifted it by shouting 'game' loudly.
Gods and Goddesses were divided to teach each class. They've learned how to use and control their powers already. I'm sure that majority of then have discovered their capabilities too.
What they need to know now is how they can protect themselves using their gift.
"One thing you have to remember is that your gifts are not used to fight and hurt others. They were given to protect and save," I said seriously. Damon made them form a circle and we're in the middle of it.
Everyone's watching and listening to me like they should. I snapped my fingers and one of them flinched.
"Pay attention," I said strictly to a girl staring at nowhere.

Time flies and it's already afternoon. My voice box feels sore. I did all the talking and Damon did all the physical lessons. I'm not complaining. I enjoyed sharing my knowledge to them. They were fast learners.
"Here," he said and put a cup of hot coffee on the table. I smiled and thanked him. "You look very tired."
"Yeah."
"Do you want to go for a fly?" he asked jokingly. He replaced the word 'walk' with a 'fly' because we found one new bonding activity and that is to just have a chilling exploration on the clouds.
I can compare it to a chill drive by the beach.
"No, I don't want to exhaust you. Besides, I actually have something to tell you," I told him. He arched his brows and put his mug on the table. "About my dream."
"It's just a dream," he said immediately, but I shook my head.
"It's been bothering me. What if it's a vision?" I asked. He heaved a deep sigh.
I can still recall those times where I'll have illusions and bad dreams. I see them with pitch black eyes. What do they mean?
"Don't think about it too much. The more you think about it, the more you'll increase the possibilities of it happening. You're not alone in here, baby. You have us."
He holds my hand. I stared at him for a few moments before nodding my head. Maybe he's right. Maybe it's just a dream and nothing more.
"I'm still thinking though. You already know what kind of dragon are you," I started. He arched his brows while sipping his coffee. "You happened to be last pure dragon, but I still don't know what my gift is." I pouted.
"You'll know that very soon. We're not in a hurry," he replied. I looked away. He's just saying that because he's not on my position.
There will always be a part of me asking myself why I've got no gift. If I'm a Chosen and a prophecy's child, why don't I have a gift?
Can someone enlighten me?
"Hey?" he called. I diverted my gaze at him. He's giving me a comforting smile. "Having no gift or powers does not make you less of a Chosen. You're not chosen for nothing."
I smiled shortly and nodded my head. Yeah, he's right Having not gift does not make me less of a Chosen.
"You were able to surpassed all those challenges and win over those pricks who tried to steal me from you. Aren't you just too much if you ask for more? You're a badass already, baby!" he said jokingly.
I pouted and smiled. I really love this guy.
