This must have been the most peculiar day in Spheria.
We were about to rescue Aluncina from the Tree Clinic because Miss Puff is the real culprit behind God Diante's death, but for some reason, God Hlaford appeared inside the Tree Clinic completely passed out.
Elaine and I are already back to the castle. She told me to spend the money that she gave me, but I rejected it. I have more important things to do just than celebrating.
Damon has been gone for a few hours now. I've been waiting in our room. Gab told me that he went to the conference room together with the Gods and Goddesses.
The happening earlier left everyone shocked. We weren't really expecting him there. His presence was so sudden.
But what's bothering me the most is where did Miss Puff and Aluncina go?
Don't get me wrong. I'm happy that the powerful God of Spheria is back. It's just that. I just happened to talk to my only family for a few moments and bad things happened already.
Am I that unfortunate?
"You've been waiting?" a deep voice broke the silence inside the room. I turned my head to look at him. His eyes are already deep and tired. My poor parsen.
"Where were you?" I asked like I don't know where he went. He walked towards me and kisses my forehead. It made my heart flutter.
It's already midnight. I had to eat alone because he was gone to work. "The Gods and I had little talk," he replied. Damon went next to our closet and find a new pair of clothes to wear.
"What did they say about God Hlaford's sudden come back?"
"To be honest, the Gods doubt it. God Columbus said that he could be an impostor. Something that Miss Puff can use to distract everyone."
My brows arched. They're not wrong. But the only way we can verify his identity is if his bludgeon works when touched by him. Only God Hlaford can light his bludgeon.
"W—What happened to Miss Puff?" I asked hesitantly. I'm afraid that he'll say the worse possible scenario. What if Aluncina died with her?
He got rid of his shirt and put on the new one in front of me. His muscles are flexing as he moves his arms and torso.
"Well, Miss Puff vanished into thin air together with Aluncina. Conyans found some clues, but they're not yet to verify. We'll know the results tomorrow," he answered and glanced at me. I smiled when he starts to walk towards the bed where I'm currently sitting at.
He leaned forward and closed the gap between our faces. "The only think we can do right now is wait," he added.

Out night flies fast. It was a different kind of sleep I had. The thought of having the most powerful man in our Kingdom is such a huge relief in our lives.
We feel safer and better everytime we close our eyes to sleep.
Bubble was outside the door when we went out to get breakfast. She brought me flowers. She's used to doing that now and I find it cute. Elaine and Gab decided to join us.
"Dinia Chosva," I chanted. The table above us starts to descend. "I will never get tired of being amazed in that chanting thing." I chuckled softly.
"Dinia Chosva," I heard Elaine say. My eyes landed on their spot. They're not too far from us.
Well actually, it's because we're about to do something really fun. Gab learned this from other Chosens. So apparently, there's a magic word that connects two tables to become one. We're planning on having breakfast together.
Gab smiled when their table landed on the ground finally. He turned to look at us. "Ready?" he asked. I glanced at Damon and he just nodded.
"Yep!" I said cheerfully.
He told us to take a few steps back. Gab raised his hands and pointed it to the two tables. He closed his eyes and mumbled something that we didn't hear. My eyes brightened when I saw the two tables coming to each other and forming a new big one.
"Wow! That's amazing," Elaine chirped. She immediately sits on one of the chairs and took out her bean.
Gab looked at us. "What are you two staring at? Go ahead and sit. I'll have to say the final chant."
I sat on one of the chairs and so as Damon. Gab closes his eyes again and whisper something we didn't hear. It was too silent to be heard.
I gasped when the table starts to ascend. Gab immediately hops on one of the chairs and joined us. He put out his bean on the table. I was about to take mine when I remembered something. They won't get mad at what we did, right? It's not like we committed a crime. We just wanted to eat together. That's it.
"This was given by Professor Crussaint. She said that it's a rare bean and we should only use it for a feast. I've never had this big numbers of people in one table since I came here in Vortaxia. Shall I use it not?" I said and put the rare bean on the table.
I'm not sure what it's for, but when Miss Crussaint said that it will be a feast then it will be.
"Bubbles?" I called. She's beside Damon and has been acting coy towards him. I couldn't help myself, but chuckle. My boyfriend's face can't be painted right now. He's frowning so bad because of Bubbles.
They look cute to me.
"Bubbles?" I called again. She didn't answer and poked Damon's right cheek. I hold my laughter. Elaine and Gab seemed to enjoy Damon's priceless expression.
"Golden's calling you hairy girl," he blurted in an annoyed voice and pushed Bubbles slightly away from him. They've gotten so close since the day Bubbles talked to him about my secret mission.
I'm aware about Damon's intimidating aura that's why I'm so glad that he's now close with Bubbles.
"Ivaaaaw?" she asked cutely and flew beside me. I glanced at the bean and back to her..
"Can you get me a cup of water. I'll just wet this up," I said. She nodded her head cheerfully and we to get what I asked for. Bubbles came back a little later with a small cup.
She did the honor of putting water in the bean. Elaine couldn't hide her excitement as the bean starts to grow like a tree and bears a lot of food.
"This is so cool!" she said loudly, enough to distract most of the Chosens and made them look at us. I sheepishly grabbed a spoon and mix the pixie drink. I'll give this to my friend.
"Bubbles?" I asked. She diverted her eyes from Damon and look at me.
"Ivaww?"
I smiled sweetly and handed her the cup. "It's for you. I gave it a few stir to make sure that the pixie sugar will mix well with the drink," I said in a sweet voice. Her eyes watered in an instant.
"I—Ivaw?" she cried and took the glass from me. Bubbles drinks it and her ears twitched from the taste. I knew she'll like it. It's just weird that ivaws like her don't get to enjoy food as much as we can.
My brows arched when I felt something in my hand again. I opened my palm and a cute lipstick came out.
"Wow! That's a rare item, Golden!" Elaine squeaked and borrowed the lipstick.
"That's a rare item?" I repeated. She nodded her head excitedly. I just smiled and look at Damon. He's still wearing a long face.
Is it just because of Bubbles clinginess towards him or he's hiding sometimes from me?
