Damon's POV

"Golden! Golden!" I frustratingly called and shake her, but she didn't respond. My chest started pounding so hard. Was she poisoned?

I glanced at the side when I hear several footsteps. Gab and Elaine scooted to me worriedly when they saw Golden passed out in my arms. Behind them are the guards and Gods.

"What happened?" Gab asked.

"I think she's been poisoned. Do you think Elaine can remove the poison in her body? I'm sure that it's because of the tea that Miss Puff gave her," I replied. He glanced Elaine and back to Golden.

"I will try my best," Elaine said determinedly. I nodded my head and looked at the squad. "Please bring her with you. I need to escort them."

Elaine and Gab did what I said. He carried Golden in his arms and ran back to the castle. I diverted my attention to the squad and Gods.

"Miss Puff is inside with our only witness. Please, be silent as possible. We don't know what she's capable of," I told them. God Nux stepped forward and looked at me.

"She can talk to plants. That's her gift," she said. My brows furrowed. Plants can talk? Whatever. That's not important right now.

We have to save Aluncina.

"Don't provoke her. She killed the God of Clasiffe all by herself. We're not sure of what she can do," I still said and divided the team into two. I made sure to surround the guards on the tree clinic.

The Gods and Goddesses chose to come with me. Professors Nux's gift is to persuasion. She will talk to Miss Puff.

My mind is blank as we walked closer to the Tree Clinic. I flinched when I heard a woman screaming inside. "Open the door!" God Columbus ordered. I kicked the door open and my eyes grew big when I didn't see Miss Puff nor Aluncina inside.

Instead, what I saw is the most lest expected man.

God Hlaford.

"Is this paradise?" God Nux blurted. The Gods and Goddesses can't believe what they're seeing too. The God of Spheria is back. And he's laying on the bed where Aluncina was left.

"Get him!"

Golden's POV

My mind is awake, but I can't open my eyes yet. I can feel my surroundings, but I can't move my body.

I know where exactly I am. I'm inside the substitute clinic in Vortaxia. It's found on the villages under the castle. Since Miss Puff decided to messed everything up, there will be no Tree Clinic for quite a long time.

"She's awake!" a child voice squeaked. I slowly opened my eyes to see a wooden ceiling. "Elaine! Elaine!"

I groaned when my tummy suddenly aches.

The next thing I heard is a woman rushing inside the room. She immediately grabbed me by the shoulders and made me look at her. She exaggeratedly cried in front of me and hug me.

"I thought you won't wake up!" she cried. My brows arched. Really? I wonder why.

"How long has it been since I was asleep?" I asked her. She pulled herself away from me and wipe her tears. "Stop crying for Pete's sake." I rolled my eyes jokingly.

"W—What? Who's Pete?" she asked confusedly. I mentally facepalm myself.

"Just answer me," I said and scanned the room. This reminds me of my old home in Earth. The wood ceiling. The antique furnitures. Who took care of me in here? And who's the kid that called Elaine?

My brows raised when a small boy suddenly entered the room. He hides when he saw me looking at him.

"Well, it has been forty-five minutes Golden. If that's not an enough reason for me to cry my heart out then I don't know what," she said and cry again. I frowned at her. Seriously? My nap is even longer than that.

I glanced at the small boy again, but he's nowhere to be found already. My eyes landed on the floor and I saw a bowl of water with leaves in it.

What's that?

"Where is Damon? And what happened to Aluncina and Miss Puff?" I asked worriedly. She gasped and covered my mouth. I gave her a puzzled look. Why do I have to be quiet?

"You can't say that at loud in here. They can't know what's happening inside the castle. They will panick," she whispered. I nodded slowly and looked around the room. Good thing that the boy is gone. "I'll talk to you about that once we get back to the castle. These Chosens don't know that we're from the castle so chill your mouth," she added. I nodded my head again.

She glanced at the door. "Oh? Your bath is already there. Wait, we have to bathe you with this juiced Guandmela first," she said and walked to get the bowl. I frowned when I smelled the Guandamela thingy.

"You'll put that on me?" I asked in a sour face. She nodded cheerfully and took a small towel on the bedside table. "What's that Guandamela thing?" I asked again.

I watched her soak the towel in the bowl until the color turns black. What the hell happened?

She starts to wipe my skin with the towel and I almost puke when the stinky smell of it reaches my nose. Damn! Is this how they treat poisoned patients?

That bathing thingy didn't last us forever. She made sure to do it fast because I almost puke several times.

Elaine supported me to get up and for some reason, I suddenly felt so much better. I think the Guandamela did really helped me a lot. But it does stink still.

A family greeted us when we finally got out of the room. I saw the same child from earlier staring at me again. I raised my hand to give him a wave, but he hides behind his mother.

"We're glad you're fine now, Samantha," she said in a thankful voice. My brows arched. She's looking at me while saying that and I'm the only patient in here.

So, why is she calling me Samantha?

I glanced at Elaine and she just smiled at me. "I can explain," she mouthed. My lips curved into a forced smile and bowed my head to show my gratitude.

"Thank you very much for taking care of me," I said in a small voice.

"It's nothing. You can always count on us, Samantha," the father said. I smiled awkwardly when I heard them called me Samantha again. I didn't know that being called in a different name is this uncomfortable.

"Thank you very much!" Elaine said and pushed me to the door. I followed obediently.

"What the hell was that?" I asked confusedly. She raised her hands in the air and smiled awkwardly.

"I had to hide your identity. Everyone knows that the prophecy's child's name is Golden. I can't let them know that we're from the castle," she explained. I yielded a sigh and look around the place.

There are plenty of Chosens walking past us and selling food, ornaments and other stuffs.

So, this is what's like down here?

"If you buy two bags, you'll get one free bag of this fresh Pixie dust!" a woman wearing a loose gown said. I looked at the pixie dusts that she's selling.

"I didn't know that we can buy Pixie dust in here. I thought we can only get them at unicorns," I mumbled to Elaine. She rolled her eyed jokingly and give me a small pouch.

"What this?" I asked. She heaved a sigh and smiled at me.

"Money."

What? What for?

"Use that to but things you like. This day is worth a celebration," she said. My brows furrowed. Celebration of what?

"The God of Spheria has been found already."
