Chapter 6

I kept staring at her as she serves the customers. I scowled when I noticed an ivaw looking guy talking to her. He's face is irritating. Tss.
I think I've been here for almost two hours.
I know that she's my parsen. I can strongly feel my connection towards her. I had my hiatus from Dragonia and I stayed in the human world for a year. I wasn't expecting to see my parsen here though. Hlaford said that when we reached the age of twenty, we'll be able to meet our parsen.
A parsen is a mate if you're wondering.
"Hey hottie," a girl said. I diverted my attention to her and her exposed boobs caught my eyes.
One thing I couldn't understand in humans is they act like they have poor production of fabric. I ignored her and stare at Golden again. She's beautiful.
Her hair is just like mine but hers is a little darker. "Why you're not talking to me?" The girl sat beside me and I didn't waste my time to look at her. She's far from my type and I've found my parsen already.
"Why do hot guys have to be snobs." She snorted and walked away. I clicked my tongue and took a sip of my wine. I bet she'll pass out when she learns where I came from.
Flashback
"How's it going little chicken." Voughn taunted at me. My mouth automatically stopped chewing food when I heard his annoying voice. He sat in front of me and I didn't hesitate to stand up to leave.
"Leaving already?" he scoffs.
I released a deep sigh and tried my best to ignore him. I promised my stepmom that I will no longer fight with his son. I'll do it for her.
"What? You feel faceless for being stuck in Dragonia III?" he slurred and laughed annoyingly. I calmed myself and pretended that I did not hear anything.
"You're just like your father," He mocks. I closed my fist and my grip to the plate tightened. I maddingly closed my eyes because of what he said.
How could he say that. My father treated him so fucking well that he has forgotten that I'm his real son. I turned to look at him and his smirking annoying face met mine. I gave him a smile and his smile faded because of my unexpected reaction.
"And you're far diffrent from your deceased father," I mocked back and smirk. His eyes turned red.
Yes. My father is just a low class flame dragon. But he's worse because he's the complete opposite of his noble father. He didn't even inherit his father's orb.
"Your father was the last pure dragon and they were all expecting you to take your father's place but you ended up being a flame dragon just like my father," I told him and smirked.
"What a shame," I scoffed and smiled sweetly at him. A ball of fire flashed on to his palm. He threw it at me and missed. I looked at him with amusement and his face darkens.
He transformed himself in to a dragon and I didn't step back and fight him. If someone didn't see us we would have killed each other already. We stopped when Crystal, my stepmom, saw us and pacified our fight. My father didn't even asked what really happened and just grabbed me.
"Have you lost your mind!" My father frantically yelled at me. I smirked and wiped the blood in the corner of my lip.
I ignored him and was about to walk out when he grabbed my arm. "I'm not done, Damon!" He warned. I can feel his mana increasing because of anger. He's glaring intently at me and I did the same to him.
He never treated me like a son.
Oh. Yeah I forgot. I was never his son.
I yanked my arm off him and went out. I saw my stepmother waiting at the door and she immediately checked me when she saw me. "Are you okay?" she asked. I just nodded and walked out. I glanced at my stepbrother and he's smirking at me.
I looked at him blankly and walked out.
That's my family.
I'm my father's biological son but he treats Voughn better than me. Even if I told him that I wasn't the one who started the fight. He will never believed me. He never and will never take my side.
I transfigured myself into a dragon and fly away. As the wind roughly blows in my green emerald eyes, my tears started falling and I snarled out of frustration because I couldn't hide my emotions. I've been living like an ostracized part of the family. I feel like I have no room in our house and it always seem like I'm begging for an attention.
I never had a chance to meet my biological mother. Voughn is so fortunate to have such a caring mother and to have all my father's attention. I envy him.
I wish I were him.
End of Flashback
I hissed when I realized that I've finished the bottle already. But when I realized that Golden will come to refill it for me, the two corners of my lips smiled.
I rose my hand to catch her attention and it worked. I can sense her nervousness as she slowly walks towards me.
"Can you give me another," I told her. My heart fluttered when she smiled at me. "Certainly," she said. My gaze went all the way from her back and I saw the ivaw looking guy again staring directly at me.
I gave him a blank expression and he glares at me. What a stupid nut. I wish I could burned his hair with one blow.
Golden left and I sat back and patiently waited for my drink. I inserted my hand in my pocket and my eyebrows furrowed when I felt a piece of paper inside. I grabbed it and I scowled when I saw an invitation card.
I scanned the envelope and I saw my name at the back.
"Y-You have it too?" Golden said and I lifted my head to looked at her astounded expression.
"Of course, I do," I answered.
