"I have to be in court in less than two hours."

"Ah!" he pushed the cover off his body and stand from the bed looking all glorious. "Okay, I'll bring you home."

"No, I can't wait until you get ready." I can't be late for Mr. Benjamin's case. It was too important.

"Then what are you going to do?" he asked with hands raised.

"I'll walk it, I live five minutes from here. Ten if you walk."

He shakes his head. "I'm not letting you walk home. Especially not in that black dress."

"Then I'll call a taxi." It didn't really matter, what I needed to do now was get the hell way from Seth freaking Parker.

"No," he moved over to me, standing in front of me, still naked. He reached over and cup my face in his hands. "I won't be long. I have to be at work in less than two hours as well. You don't have to start acting all weird on me." He leaned in a place a kiss on my cheek, then scroll out of the bedroom.

Deciding to wait on him, I walked out of the bedroom to the living room where my dress was discarded. I put on my dress. I looked over at the same kitchen and decide I might as well make a little breakfast.

I opened his silver refrigerator and scan its content. For a single man, he sure has a lot of food. He had enough ingredients to choose from so I decided to make an omelette. I took out four eggs, cheese, sausages, onion and stallion. I searched the cupboards until I found a frying pan and the wheat bread.

I was mixing the ingredients in a bowl when I heard a meow. I looked down and saw the yellow cat that had made the noise.

I got excited immediately. This must be butter.

"Hello, butter." Butter comes to my feet and starts rubbing against it.

Since I was barefoot, it was ticklish.

I took up the vegetable oil and pour it into the pot. I moved over the other pot with the tea. I could smell the peppermint aroma lingering in the kitchen.

The cat disappeared again, leaving me a little sad because I was loving its company.

I gently place my combination in the pot the fry.

"What smells so good?"

I turned around to look at Seth. He was wearing a suit, without the jacket, his hair was no longer messy but neatly brushed back. He looked really handsome.

"Since you decide to live in the shower, I decide to make breakfast. We can eat it on our way to my apartment." I turn back to my pot. He moved over to where I was opening one of the cupboards. He took out the bag of cat chow and walked away.

I rolled my eyes and took up the spatula to turn the omelette. When it was almost finished, I sprinkled some cheese on the top. There is nothing better than a cheesy omelette.

I turn off the pots. I turn around and look at Seth who was around the island on his phone. "Do you have any termus that I can put the tea in?"

He lifts his head from his phone. "Yea look at that bottom cupboard." He points.

"Thanks, and what about containers to put the omelette in?"

"Same cupboard."

I finished placing the tea in the termus and the omelette in a dish, then in a little lunch bag. We could share it while he drives me home because I wouldn't have time before my court hearing.

I went over to the sink to start washing but Seth's hand stopped me. I looked up at him, I didn't even hear when he got up.

"Don't. It's almost eight. I don't want you to be late for work. We can leave those. I'll ask the housekeeper to wash up for me."

"Are you sure?" I didn't really like cooking and not washing up after myself. I hate leaving my apartment dirty.

He nods, "Yes, she'll be here soon. Don't worry about it."

He lifts the lunch bag and pulls me out of the kitchen with him.

"Hold my jacket for me, please." He said as he pointed at the jacket that laid on the edge of the sofa.

I took up quickly since he was still pulling me in the direction of the door.

"Don't put on the heels, put on my Nike slippers and just hold the heels in your hands." Doing exactly what he said, I place my tiny feet in his big slippers. It looked weird, but I brushed it off.

I took up a next piece of the omelette and place it in my mouth. It tasted so good. I looked over at Seth whose attention was the traffic ahead. He was holding the termus in his hands and bringing the tea to his head.

I turned and handed me the tea. I took it from him and he took up the dish and placed it in his laps. I watched as he took his first bite. He looked so good. I don't know what wrong with me but there was just something about watching him eat.

When he was finished he used one of the wipes from the glove compartment to wipe his face. He gave one to me and I followed.

"Thanks for the breakfast. It's been a long time since I had a home-cooked breakfast." A thank you was the last thing I was expecting from him, but I smiled.

"You're welcome." I looked ahead to the traffic that started to move. "You do have a lot of cooking products for a single man."

"I like to cook."

"Really, that great." If I had a checklist, A man who can cook would probably be at the top of the list.

"But I barely have time sometimes. I'm still trying to get used to my new job." I nod understanding what he meant. The business world in New York wasn't easy so I can imagine what he was going through.
