Once he stepped out of the way, the woman began posing in sexual maneuvers that perked up her breasts and extended her butt and hips out. I snapped photos left and right, moving around her as if I had done this for years. I mean, I had, but not in this type of field.
I got lost in the moment of taking photos as one actress after another took their turn in front of the backdrop until it was the men's turn. Their poses were different, more masculine and domineering. It gave me the idea of having photos of Drake like this for my personal stash. I bet I could get him to pose like this for me; naked too!
When I had exhausted my finger on the capture button, the actors and actresses all thanked me up and down, except for the bitch who clearly wanted my man. It didn't bother me that she was unprofessional about all of this. What she didn't know was that her time here would be limited if she didn't change her attitude. If it wasn't me wanting her fired, it would be Drake. He didn't seem like the type to put up with women like her.
"You did amazing, girl," Ashley complimented me as I put my camera away.
"Thanks! You did awesome too!" And he really did. I had the inkling that Ashley was gay, but I wouldn't comment on it; however, if he was gay, he was right up Luis's alley. He had a smoking hot body, killer personality, and green eyes. I knew my best friend well and almost couldn't wait to introduce the two.
The actors and actresses all returned to the makeshift dressing room when my eyes landed on the back door opening. Two familiar faces walked in, but only one of them bothered me. I didn't recall her name at the moment, but I knew she was one of the last co-workers to have worked with Drake before he left that side of the industry. And according to my own little research, she was one of Drake's main co-stars.
The instant jealousy I felt upon seeing her made me nauseous beyond belief. A hot flash swept over me, making me feel twenty degrees hotter as I became dizzy. What the hell was she doing here? I prayed it wasn't for what I thought it was for. I didn't want him working with her. It might seem ridiculous after I told myself that I could trust Drake, but I didn't like it at all.
When her eyes scanned the vastly open building that hadn't been finished yet, her smile faded to a scowl when she saw me. It looks like the feeling was mutual. We clearly didn't care for each other.
She leaned in and whispered something to Oliver before his eyes found me too. He held my gaze for a long moment before he whispered something back to her.
"I'm going to assume that you and Monique don't get along," Ashley stated, tearing me away from glaring at the new intruder.
"Who?"
He chuckled. "You're funny. That's Monique Starr, and she is one vicious bitch when it comes to things she wants."
And I knew exactly what she wanted, but she couldn't have him. Vicious bitch would take on a whole new meaning if she tried to test me.
"Good for her," I mumbled before I turned and put my camera back into its bag.
My eyes moved to the office door that I assumed Drake was occupying at the moment. How long was that interview going to take? I wanted to leave before Monique got the idea to piss me off. I really wanted to know why she was here, but I didn't want to seem like an insecure woman that was clearly jealous over another woman. That wasn't sexy.
"You going to be okay by yourself? I need to get changed and head to my next gig," Ashley stated.
"Yeah, I'm totally fine. It was a pleasure meeting you, Ashley. I hope to see you again." He snorted. "Girl, don't go getting all professional on me now. I'll definitely see you again soon. Looks like we'll be working together." He nodded to the camera bag, but before I could correct him, he had sauntered off toward the makeshift dressing room.
My eyes moved back to where Oliver and Monique were just standing but they were gone. The entire place was like a ghost town and I stood here all alone, debating on whether or not I should knock on the office door.
I tiptoed toward the door, getting as close as I could until I could hear something. The sounds of moaning and heavy panting echoed back to me and my heart sank into my stomach. No, no, I was hearing things. Drake wouldn't... "Oh, Drake!" A woman's voice moaned.
I burst through the door, fully expecting to find Drake fucking a woman on his desk, but that's not what I found at all.
"Hey, sugar-tits!"
Luis sat beside Drake behind his desk as they pulled their gazes from the computer screen. Drake paused the video and chuckled, scratching the back of his neck.
"Sorry, babe, I'm sure you heard-"
"Um, yeah!" I cut him off. "I thought you were in here fucking somebody and I..." I trailed off before the tears burning my eyes slipped down my cheeks. There was no way I was going to let Drake see how insanely jealous and freaked out I just was.
But I didn't need to say a word before he pushed up from his spot behind the desk and came to me, framing my face with his hands. He ran his thumbs beneath my eyes, wiping away the nonexistent tears before he let out a worried sigh.
"I know this is probably super overwhelming for you, lynn, but you should know that I would never cheat on you. Those days," he began as he pointed at the screen behind him, "are over. I'm only showing Pierre a few rough edits so he knows what his job will entail."
Now I felt like an idiot and I wanted to cower away and not look into his gaze anymore. He held my face there, not letting me look away.
