Ciara's POV
Right now, we're inside the school campus and enrolling for a new semester.
Trio Sha together with Patrick and Faith are currently waiting for the announcements of our section and program, "Sir Justine must've announced but what took him so long? I'm so excited to know what section we are in," Patty complained as she scrolled through her phone.
I looked at her and asked, "Sir Justine is the one who will announce the sectioning?"
"Yeah," she replied and turned off her phone, "Our section will be a block section and it's strictly forbidden to change section or subjects."
"That's so unfair for everyone," Patrick said, "well, I mean what if those students should or is required you to change their schedule or even section?"
"Yeah, it would be unfair. Just think of the working students here on our campus. Of course, their subjects and section have to be irregular for their working hours," Shan added.
"I don't know what to say but let's all respect the decisions of the dean and our professors," Faith interjected, "but I think you can also change the schedule, if only you have to secure enough evidence as to why you need to change your schedule."
They have a point about it. Being a block section is so much stressful as we thought. What if we are not classmates this semester? What if someone separates the class, except for Faith. Well, of course, she is in BS-Nursing and her second year.
Before we will be stressed out with the crazy sectioning, we decided to just walk until we came across the Computer Laboratory where our classmate, Rafael was a student assistant here in the lab.
He is also a friend of ours and he is very nice that he would let us in the lab and also the teachers assigned at the computer lab are not that strict too.
"Hey, Raffy," I greeted him as I opened the door. He turned to us and smiled once he saw us.
"Hey, guys! Come inside and have a seat," he stood up and gave us some chairs to let us sit.
"Woah, bro. Are you that busy working here even if it's the semestral break?" Patrick asked him.
He nodded, "Yeah, super busy. We can't do anything just for my tuition."
Raffy's family is not that very rich so he is forced to become a Student Assistant at the school.
This is a scholarship program at school and to avail of that, you also need to work.
Of course, the salary they get goes directly to their tuition payments.
"So, any updates from Sir Justine? Did he give the sectioning now?" Rafa asked us.
"That's what we're waiting for. I'll just turn on the WiFi for a faster update," Patty said and Rafael nodded.
"Are you busy, Raffy? Let's play Mobile Legends if you want," said Patrick.
Raffy seems to be doing nothing as I saw that he picked up his phone. The next thing I knew, Shan, Patrick, and Raffy started to play Mobile Legends so I just let them have their kind of peace.
I just watch opened my phone and watch some random videos on YouTube, I just watch other songs and live band performances so that I can get ideas and techniques on how they play.
"Oh! All right, go ahead!"
"Just wait, don't go in first. Retreat!"
"Raffy, top! Minions are going there."
I can still hear what they were talking about. I only listened to one song and turned it off just to talk to Faith.
Moments later Patricia immediately stood up from her seat, "Guys! Sir Justine has an update!"
"Oh, what's our section? Take a look, quick!"
"Are you in a hurry, Patrick? Just chill out, please," Patricia laughed at her twin but she also opened her FB account and searched the group for sectioning, "Oh, here it is. I'll look for our names."
"Okay, I saw your name Raffy. Section A-11," Patricia said as she scrolled through the phone, "Twins and also you, Ciara Jones. We are all in the same class, section A-11."
Wow, we are all classmates! But I wonder why that she hasn't mentioned Shan's name.
"What about me? Are we even in the same class?" Shan asked her.
Patricia shook her head, "Shan Anderson. You're not here on the list. Wait, I'll check - Ah! You're in the Section A-13, Shan."
He nodded, "That's sad. I'm the only one who is separated from the group."
"It's a pity for you. We're not allowed to change schedules and all the sections released are final," Patty said and put her phone back inside her pocket, "Anyway, let's go. We still need to enroll. What about you, Faith?"
"I'm fine," she replied, "Our enrollment area is assigned to the 3rd floor."
"We should head to the third floor first," I told them and everyone agrees to what I said.
We just walked together with Raffy and also went up the stairs to a Computer Lab on the third floor where we were assigned to profiling of subjects.
After that, we went back to the second floor where we were assigned to Computer Laboratory 1 to which where we will register our subjects on the given section before entering and paying for the down payment.
We were looking for a vacant seat when we saw four of us in the vacancy so the twins, me, and Raffy sat down.
I looked at Shan who was still standing behind us, "How about you, babe? Where are you going to seat?"
"I'll just be right over there. There is a vacant spot at that corner," he said and pointed slightly to the end where there was only one vacancy so I turned to him and nodded.
"All right. I'll see you later once you're done," I said and he left to go to his place.
Shan's POV
Once I led my friends and girlfriend in their seats, I dashed straight to the only vacant seat. As I sat down, I noticed that I am sitting next to a woman who was looking at me and she was smiling.
Well, she looked very kind so I smiled back at her before I turned my attention to the computer in front of me.
It is not our first time doing and enrolling at this school, so we don't need to register and enter some of our information since it was saved.
We just opened our OPIS account, it is a website where we will find our grades, subjects, and where to enroll our newest subjects.
I just searched the section I belonged to and searched section A-13 when I noticed that the woman next to me seemed to be having a hard time and I could still hear it muttering, "Oh mon Dieu. Que Faire?" (Oh my God. What to do?)
I'm not a French guy, but I know that word because I like to watch French movies and one of my dreams is to go to Paris so I turned to her.
"Hi," I slightly called her attention and she turned her gaze to me, "Are you okay? You seem to be having a hard time. Oh, sorry. Do you speak English?"
"Oh, yes," she nodded, "S-sorry. I'm just having a hard time because I'm new at this school and on this semester and I don't know how this works."
"Ah okay. I'll finish this first and I'll help you. Est-ce que ça va?" (Is that okay?)
"O-oui. M-merci," she said and bowed slightly more. (Y-yes. T-thank you)
I speeded up the enrollment and after a minute, it was all done. I checked it once more and clicked save before I logged out of my school account.
I turned to the woman next to me who was still busy staring at the monitor, "I'm done. I'll help you."
She looked at me and smiled, "S-sure. I'm Zoe Adelle Maelle Monet, but you can call me Zam."
"I'm Shan Anderson. What's your section?"
"S-section A-13," she replied shyly so I nodded.
"We're going to be in the same block and section," I replied, "Well, are you a transferee here?"
She nodded while smiling, "Y-yes. We are from Manila but we just moved here to Butuan because of business. I am half-French and half-Filipina."
"Nice. I want to visit Paris so I kind of learned some basic French words."
"That's nice of you. Well, I can teach you," she said and laughed slightly.
After a little while, I also finished filling up her pieces of information and until he also created an account at school.
"There, it's okay. Now, just click the registration button and our section, and then the sections will appear before you save," I instructed her and she followed what I said until she was done for the first step and second into saving the form.
"All done. Thank you very much, Monsieur Shan."
"De rien," I responded, "Would you like to introduce me to my friends?"
"Is that okay with you? Well, maybe they won't like me."
"It's not that. I see that you're kind and I don't have some friends who are close to me in our section. I'm the only one who's being separated on the block."
"That's sad, but we can't do anything. Exacte?"
I laughed, "Exacte," she smiled so we went out of that room and I saw my friends and the woman I love outside waiting so I hugged her back and kissed her on the cheek, "Hey, baby."
"Hmm," she just answered and turned to me, "What took you so long and you have just finished enrolling when you must have finished it earlier than expected."
"I helped someone. She is a transferee and she will be my classmate," I said and turned back to where Zam was standing and I motioned for her to come over, "This is Zam, a new friend. Zam, these are my friends - Patricia, Patrick, Here's Raffy, and my beautiful girlfriend, Ciara."
Zam smiled at them and introduced herself, "It's nice to meet all of you. I don't have any friends here yet because I came from France and Manila yet."
"It's good that you thought of going to our school here," Patrick said.
"Zam, do you want to come with us? I mean, we're going to the cinema today. Right after we pay the downpayment," Ciara greeted her.
"If it's okay with you guys? I'm kind of shy to all of you."
"No, it's okay. You're Shan's friend so you will be our new friend now," Patty said while smiling.
