Ciara's POV
I was bored viewing movies and clips on Facebook while I scrolled through my phone. Things are different now that Shan is out, and I haven't spoken to him since our earlier fight.
I'm not used to being enraged and irritable with each other, but I'll give it some time. My parents are right that he requires time to reflect and change. Maybe he was surprised by what was going on, but I can't make him accept it right immediately, especially since he has no idea who that man is.

According to Patrick, I only feel sad for his biological father. I'm sure he misses Shan terribly because Shan is his son, of course. Shan, I'm sure, is unaware of this. Shan's father used to visit him when he was a child, according to Mrs. Anderson, until he was four years old.
I was just baffled as to why he hadn't shown up? What a wasting of Shan's chance to get to know him better. Shan hasn't remembered much since he last met his biological father when he was four years old.
I was viewing videos when I heard a voice from outside singing. Thinking it was from a music player mom and dad were playing so I didn't mind, not until the voice seemed familiar, so I looked out the window overlooking our gate.
I gasped and leaped to my feet as I saw what is in front of our house, not expecting Shan to sing!
"Sweetie! Come and get out!" I heard a knock on my door, and my mother slid in, clearly thrilled.
My mother pulled me down the stairs, and my father was ecstatic. I had just been jolted, so I opened the front door and saw Shan holding a guitar outside the gate.

Please accept my apologies if you become enraged by accident.
It was only my rage that caused me to say anything,
I'll compel you to change your mind.
Are you paying attention? You're undoubtedly exhausted.

It's in my nature not to want to lose.
And, like a never-ending busted exhaust pipe,
I couldn't help but smile at what he was doing. His voice is deep but incredible. She is also a wonderful singer in addition to being a dancer. I'm curious as to who he got it from because if I recall correctly, he got it from Mrs. Julia Anderson.
Please accept my sincere apologies
if I've made any mistakes.
I don't believe that rage comes first.
I'm very sorry for what I've done.
Please don't get irritated because I admit I'm incorrect.
Sorry
I'm sorry, but you won't be able to join us.
I understand you're having some difficulties.
It's like a single site to adore someone like myself.
That you don't hurt people on purpose regularly sorry for the inconvenience.
What are your plans?
Please do not become disoriented.
I will die if you abandon me.
Because you have my heart in the palm of your hand
I adore you,
I'm at a loss for words.
But please accept my heartfelt apologies;
I didn't mean to offend you.
I adore you tremendously.
Don't become disoriented.
Sorry
"I'M SORRY, MISS CIARA ROSE RAMIREZ!" he cried after singing, "PLEASE, TALK TO ME! I AM SORRY!"
I looked over at my parents, who were still hugging me. I turned around to face Shan and walked up to the gate to open it. His sparkling eyes, gorgeous nose, and kissable lips are all visible to me.
"I'm sorry, Babe. I know you were only worried about me and wanted to help; it's just that -"
I cut him off as I sealed him a wonderful kiss. My parents are aware that I am watching, but they are unconcerned. As I broke the kiss, he kissed me once again.
"I love you so much," I said as I peered into his eyes.
"I love you as well, and I apologize."
"It's okay, babe," I hugged him, "I understand."
"You know, I'm thinking about taking you to Uncle Derek's restaurant for dinner?"
"Oh, is it okay if Shan and I have a dinner date at the restaurant?" I asked, turning to face my Mom and Dad.
I smiled as Dad responded, "Sure, no problem!"
"All right," I said, "just give me a minute and I'll get dressed," and I dashed inside and into my room.
I went out and bought some gorgeous tops and formal pants right away. After changing, I applied some make-up to my face. It's simply powder and lip color, after all.
I went downstairs to fetch my doll shoes and grabbed my small sling purse. I dashed outdoors to see Shan once again. I said my goodbyes to my folks and climbed into his car.
As soon as he gets in, he begins driving while holding my hands. "You know, I'm very excited tonight," I said, expressing my excitement for our dinner date.
"Me too," he said, chuckling, "it's been a long, we've been too busy. Anyway, Uncle Derek invited us to Surigao for your Grandma's birthday," he added.
"Yeah, Faith informed me about that," I responded. "Also, I told Mom and Dad that it's fine if Patrick and Patricia came along."
"If that's the case, let's postpone Brett and travel to Surigao," he suggested, his gaze fixed on the road.
I answered, "Yeah, I didn't even think of it. Let's tell them about it." I noticed we were close to the restaurant.
We arrived at our destination in a matter of seconds, and before we got out of his car, I pulled up my phone and shot a selfie of Shan, which he didn't notice, and I quickly hid my phone.
Shan got out of his car and moved to my side to open the door and I smiled at him, "Thanks, babe."
He kissed my hands and murmured, "Anything for you, my princess."
I was blown away by what he was doing, and we both walked into the restaurant at the same time. We happened to run into Aunt Giselle as soon as we opened the door.
"Oh, Ciara, Shan! It's great to see you here," she said, kissing me and waving to Shan.
Shan said, "We're going on a dinner date," and I just happened to smile.
"Oh my. Perfect, John and Julia are inside as well," she added, her smile fading, "but they are with someone."
"Who's with them?" Shan asked.
"See for yourself, so you can figure out who. Well, I have to go first, and I'll fetch something from home. Bye, see you in Surigao!" she said as she hugged us goodbye.
"Let's go?" I said, looking at Shan and holding his hands.
He grinned and ushered us inside. We noticed his parents seated in a corner with a man across from them as soon as we walked in. As he turns away from us, I can't help but glance at his face.
I'm not sure, but I believe he is his biological father. Julie indicated that their father will be coming home that day. When I looked over at Shan, I realized that he was staring at them as her mother noticed us.
"Shan? You're here. Come here, join us," she said as she stood up in her seat, and the man turned to face us.
It was his father if I'm not mistaken! It's clear since he resembles Shan so much. As in, they looked the same!
Shan's hands are shaking, and I can see in his father's eyes how delighted he is to see Shan right now. After he saw Shan again, his eyes were already moist.
I dragged Shan closer to them, and his father rose and hugged Shan, saying, "My son. Shan, I missed you so much," and I could tell he was crying.
Shan's POV
I can't believe I'm about to meet my biological father. I can't deny that he is my father. I can notice the resemblance between us.
I didn't know what to feel as he held me and told me he missed me. As I see him right now, I can't move; it feels like I'm frozen to death.
To be honest, I'd like to give him a chance and learn more about him, but I imagine he abandoned me while I was still in my mother's womb. As a result, it's understandable that he doesn't deserve me.
"Don't. Please, don't touch me," I pulled him away, tears streaming down my face, "I'm not your child. I'm John Anderson's child, not yours."
"But -"
"NO!" I exclaimed, closing my eyes, "Why did you have to come back? To bother our family?"
"No, I'm not -"
"Then get out of our lives! I don't need you! You abandoned me, remember? You abandoned me while I was still in my mother's womb! I'm sorry, Mr. Phillip, but I just can't take it!"
I instantly turned away and bolted out the door. I can't stand seeing him! I know I don't know his true motivation, but I believe Mom was correct in not saying anything about him because she didn't want him to know my Dad had abandoned me.
I kept running till I reached Capitol Park. I didn't hesitate to enter the public park because it was close to the restaurant. I needed some time to consider everything.
Ciara's POV
I can't believe Shan simply left, and even their parents were taken aback by his unexpected behavior.
Julia Anderson apologized, "Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry Phillip," and I could feel Shan's father's anguish and brokenness in his eyes.
"This is all my fault," he said, shaking his head. "That's why, back then, I was so stupid. Also, I stopped seeing him because, you know, I was focused on my future child, Julie, and also on Kate."
"I know and I understand," Julia Anderson said simply.
"Excuse me, Mr. Garcia, please don't take Shan's comments to heart. He's simply confused right now, but I'm sure he'll love you," I interjected.
"Thank you," he said with a smile, "but who are you again?"
"Oh, she's Ciara Ramirez, Shan's girlfriend," Mr. John Anderson said.
"I see," he said, nodding. "You're so lovely, and I can tell you adore him."
"Don't worry, I'll follow your son. I know where he runs when he's upset or hurt. Just wait here, and we'll be right back."
I turned around and walked straight to Capitol Grounds. You may have forgotten that I've known him since we were kids. Even though our subdivision has a park, let's suppose this is the second location he would go to if he had a problem.
I'm not mistaken. I spotted him sitting in a swing there, and I could see he was crying. I'm sure he's in a lot of difficulties right now.
I hugged him from behind and said, "Shan, always remember that I am here. Whether I am your best friend, girlfriend, or partner, I will never leave you. I love you so much,"
"Thank you. I truly need this hug right now," he sighed deeply and continued, "I don't know what to do anymore," he said as he sniffed and grabbed my hands.
"You know, I won't force you to accept him right immediately since we know it won't be easy," I said as I came up to him and bent down to match him.
Once I watched him cry, I grieved. "Listen, you may give a chance. Chance to love you, to take care of you. Also, the chance to explain to you because I know that He is the key reason for everything. I can see that he truly loves you as his son," I added.
"You do?" he asked, looking into my eyes.
"Yes," I said, nodding. "The way your mother and father look at you is the same way from your dad. I can tell he was delighted when he first saw you today. Maybe it's time to allow him to get to know you better. You accept him and everything for both you and Phillip. After all, he is your dad."
"Thank you, Ciara, for being here for me to lean on. Thank you for helping me realize everything. I love you so much and I can't afford to lose you as my best friend and lover," he said with a smile.
He suddenly cupped my face and kissed me. I savored the moment as I closed my eyes and absorbed his cool kiss. "I love you so much, Ciara," he exhaled slowly and caressed my face as he broke.
"Remember that I love you as well, Shan."
