The bus arrived. The students are ready to get on the bus. Some of them are yawning and scratching their head.
On the other side, Astrid was still sleeping on her bed. She is waiting for her clock to alarm, but unfortunately, the clock was in silent mode.
She will be late for a few minutes. She received the remainder, yet she's late.
It's because she looked for her allowance. She packed the things that he bought recently because of the limited time.
Before the day, she went to the cafe and worked according to her schedule, without any break time to maximize her time.
She requested for an early payout because she will join the camping, but her boss refused her request, instead, her boss said that she needs to work on full-time.
In that case, her payment will maximize within that day. The payment is for one day, instead of a weekly payment.
She accepted it. After her work in Cafe, she went to one of her students.
The new student needs a special care and attention. She required herself to think about something interesting that will be caught the student's attention.
She successfully taught the student. The parents of the student decided to pay for her one-day teaching.
The money will sum up her allowance. However, she needs to buy some of the camping stuff, because they didn't have it in their house.
The last time she can remember, the kinds of stuff are broken, that's why they need to throw it or recycle it as a piece of new equipment.
Her day is already done. It's exhausting for her. She went home carrying all the things. The foods are ready to eat.
She put all the food inside the fridge. When all the things are set up, she went inside the bathroom and cleaned her body.
After a few minutes of cleaning, she went out and look for some comfortable clothes before sleeping.
She sets the clock, however, she didn't notice that it's not on the alarm mode, instead it's on the silent mode.
She was exhausted. That's why her body couldn't move or wake up.
Luckily, a student noticed that Astrid was still not arriving. The bus was about to go, the driver is just waiting for some minutes.
“Hey, Jihan, did you notice Astrid?” Yoru asked his assistant. Jihan shook his head.
“Does she tell you that she will join the camping? If she didn't arrive in 10 minutes, then the bus will start to move,” Jihan stated.
Yoru became anxious. He was about to call Astrid when he saw his brother holding his phone.
Yuan was calling Astrid. For sure, if Yoru calls Astrid, it will not be going to register since Yuan is calling her at the present time.
He can sense that his brother was thinking about Astrid. A lot of what-ifs are running to their head.
What if she was traveling, and unexpected things happen?
What if she chose not to join because it's very tiring and dangerous to go to the forest?
What if she didn't have an allowance to support the expenses for camping?
What if, she is still sleeping at the moment. Yoru stood up from his seat. The other side of his seat was vacant.
He reserved it for Astrid. He walked to the driver and talked to him.
“Excuse me, sir? Can you please wait for some minutes? I forgot something in my house, it's important, I really need to get it, please allow me to get it,” he pleased the driver.
He couldn't believe that he will do it just for the sake of Astrid.
“Alright, go ahead, make sure you will get back here, because we are late!” the driver exclaimed.
Yoru nodded and he went out immediately. He runs as fast as he can. He couldn't transform in the daytime.
The people will see him. It's a dangerous choice. While running, he took his phone and dialed Astrid's number.
He reached the house. He knocked for a couple of times, but no one was opening the door.
He jumps to the balcony, he finds out that Astrid was still sleeping. He knocked on the door of the balcony.
Finally! Astrid's eyes were open. She looked at the balcony. Her eyes widen when she saw Yoru.
She stood up and looked at her phone. Her system suddenly became in rush. She doesn't know what to do until she decided to open the door of the balcony.
“What are you doing here? I'm late, I'm not going to the camping, why are you here? The bus already started to move, maybe they left you,” Astrid said when she allowed Yoru to come in.
“I'm here to fetch you, so go ahead and clean yourself, we are going to follow the bus, hurry up! The time is ticking!” Yoru convinced her.
Automatically she moves to the bathroom. Yoru is willing to wait for her. The program will start at exactly 10 in the morning, the bus started to move at 8:30 in the morning.
Yoru already reached the place, so he knows the calculation of the time and distance. All they need is to run at least faster than a bike.
If that's possible, or he will carry Astrid and jump on the roofs?
But he thinks it's awkward, and who would jump on the rooftop carrying a girl? He laughed because of his thoughts.
Astrid went out of the bathroom.
“You are too fast, did you bathe properly?” Yoru asked while avoiding his laughs to escape from his mouth.
“Of course! We are running out of time, so I need to do it as fast as I can, can you put those foods on my back? Thank you!” she stated while holding a blower, which she used to dry her hair.
“Is it necessary?” Yoru questioned while reading all the products. Astrid started to wear her jeans and a simple shirt.
“Don't look here! I'm wearing some clothes!” Astrid shouted. Although Astrid was not seen from her direction, she still warned Yoru.
Yoru nodded and ignore it like it was nothing, besides he's not interested to do some bad actions.
“Can you wait until 5 minutes?” Astrid asked once again.
“Yes, the only choice was to run after the bus, or we are going to ride another vehicle to go to the location unless you want to jump on the rooftop,” Yoru suggested.
Astrid laughed. “It's not good to see people who are unusual jumping on the roofs! Plus, it's daytime,” Astrid says to Yoru.
She went out and smiled at Yoru who was sitting at the bed.
“Stand up, I'm going to fold my blanket.” Yoru stood up when he noticed Astrid. She went to her bed. She cleaned and fold all the blankets.
“Let's go, I'm ready!” Astrid said with a cheerful voice.
“Are you ready to run? Which way would you choose?” Yoru asked. Astrid wrinkles her forehead. She doesn't have a clue.
Yoru hold her hand and gently pulled her on the balcony. She locked the door. He hold her waist and asked her to become closely and hold him tightly.
When everything is ready, they jump from the balcony and started to run.
Yoru decided to go to the tall trees because some people are not going to be there, plus it was daytime.
The sun was out and it can burn their skin.
Astrid snuggles to his neck because of the wind is touching their skin. It hurts because of the speed.
Yoru was running and didn't even care about the trees and tall grass. He was focused on the path.
Astrid's arms around his neck while his hands are around her waist. He couldn't deny it, his heart was beating not from running, it was because the girl he wanted was touching his warm body.
Her trust was all on Yoru. He feels like his heart is going to jump from his chest.
On the other hand, Astrid can hear his heartbeat. Her ears are on his chest clinging to his body just not to fall on the ground.
She chose to close her eyes until everything stopped. She open her eyes, the wide place appeared.
“Where are we?” she asked. Yoru gently put her down to balance herself. The soft grass, the tall trees, and the big trunks of the trees.
She scanned the whole place, she noticed that the players were complete. There are a few tents.
The speakers were in front of the tent. After a few seconds, the officer appeared.
“Hello! Good morning to all of the players! We are happy that you all arrived safely! Welcome to our venue of the program!” the officer greeted.
The students waved at them.
“Welcome to the Red Moon Forest! Let's enjoy our camping!”
