“Are you out of your mind?” I shouted. We are currently at the corner of the street where some of the lights are present.
“I thought you can sense some danger, but why are you hanging out with your friends? There's nothing wrong about hanging out with friends, but you should watch your time!”
The white furry creature was still sitting in front of me while his head was hanging low.
“I don't want this to happen again, understand?” He shook his head as a sign of his answer.
“Let's keep going,” I muttered. I begin to walk while observing his actions. It seems like he's following my path.
Because of our ability, we can go to the forest for 10 to 20 minutes, however, it still depends on our area and strength.
“Hey! Go home and please be careful with your actions, I'm going to some errands,” I murmured. I looked at him, but it seems like he's not convinced of what I said.
“I'm going home, don't worry.” He started to run. After a few seconds, he disappeared from my vision.
I begin to walk from this dark street. It seems like some of the people are going to their work. I raised my eyebrow, maybe they are on the night shift?
Furthermore, something from the houses caught my attention. I scanned the whole place before I decided to jump and land on their balcony.
The curtains are at the side and the glass window was closed. All I can see is a girl who was sleeping peacefully.
I decided to sit at the black railings and stared at the girl. She's lying in the bed. It looks like she doesn't have any problems.
I took a deep sigh and let it out slowly. Not only that, but I lean my back at the wall and I let my eyes will close for a moment.
The cold breeze is touching my skin. It looks like the weather will change. It will be going to rain tomorrow.
I stood up and step my feet without making any sounds.
“The moon was bright and big, do you want to stare at the moon?” Someone muttered. I closed my eyes because she had suddenly come here.
“My son said that you're running for some errands, I assumed that this kind of errands that you're talking about,” she said with a serious tone.
“Please, be quiet, the people who live here will see us if you keep your loud voice.” She raised her eyebrow and she crossed her arms.
“See? I hope, you were already thinking about that before you go here,” she muttered. My heart started to race.
“If you still want to stay here, think twice, I might report this to your parents.” I felt her movement and the air from her.
I touched the glass door, “You don't want to listen, huh?” The chills crawled to my nape. I can still hear her voice inside my mind.
“Let's go home.” I shook my head. I glanced at the girl inside the house. She's still sleeping, I want to touch her face, but unfortunately, I can't do it this time.
I'm standing at the railings facing my back in her direction. I felt the cold wind and stares at the moon.
I jumped from the balcony and when I landed, my body became a furry creature with four legs and a long mouth with fangs.
My vision became sharper than before and my ears grew. I can smell some danger from the south.
I begin to run through the dark streets and I scanned the whole area. I'm convinced that there's no one witnessed my transformation.
When I reached the area, I saw some thieves. They are trying to robber a shop. From my perspective, the shop looks like a hardware store.
The one seems like the lookout while the other one was picking up the lock. I run immediately and bit the arm of the thief.
“Shit!” the man shouted. I hold my gripped and pulled him backward until I already ripped off his shirt.
He moves his other hand. He's holding a knife, when he's about to stab me, I move backward while showing my incisors.
I heard their heavy breathing. Furthermore, I smell something. They will catch me or they will report this if I choose to run away from them.
I saw a bunch of bricks at their side. It's a good thing to use for jumping. If I'm going to bite his ear, the other one might use that position to stab me.
Likewise, I should be able to dodge that actions.
One of them was the only one who was holding a knife while the other one is a hairpin.
My stomach is aching. I ran to their side and jumped from the bricks to bite his ear.
“Ouch! Use that knife! Kill this creature!” Their eyes widen. When he's about to move, there's something suddenly bit his neck.
It causes him to fall and the knife slipped away from his hand.
“Useless pig!” He used his elbow to fight, but unfortunately, I move backward. He stood up and glared at me.
He immediately got the knife from the ground.
I heard the other creature, he's growling while biting the neck of one of the thieves.
The thief was crying for help, but the creature's fangs were going deeply to his skin.
I'm facing the guy who was holding his ear. It's bleeding.
“What kind are you? A wolf? Or just a stupid creature from out of nowhere? Come! Bite me again! I'm pretty sure that this knife will be going to your skin until it reaches your bone!” He laughed like an insane man.
“Stop growling and move your ass!” I felt like my heart stopped beating and I started to gasp for air.
It's not good. I smell some blood. My eyes widen when I glanced at the other thief. He's dead! The other wolf was currently eating his organs.
The other guy started to run. I won't let him escape.
“Help! Can somebody help me?” I chase him. I jumped to the walls and all of a sudden, he lost his balance.
He fell to the ground and I can hear his loud sobs. I jumped in front of him and stared into his eyes.
I can sense some agony and his willingness to pursue his goal.
“Please... Please... Don't kill me,” he whispered. I sat in front of him and smell his scent. If I'm still in a human form, I'm going to vomit because of his smells.
It's like a cigarette and a lot of smells from different liquor.
I move around him to scan his whole body.
My ears suddenly raised and my eyes widened. It seems like he fell from the wrong way. His bone was already seen from his knees.
His body was trembling and I can feel his heart racing. His ear is still bleeding. He's not able to move.
I went back to his front and sat in front of him. He's still crying.
“I'm sorry, I'm just— I know it's not good to robber something, It's just I need some money,” he whispered.
I looked at him. “My daughter, she needs an operation, but we don't have enough money.”
After a few seconds, he became silent. I smell him once again. I can't hear his heartbeat.
All of a sudden, wide and sharp teeth sunk to his flesh down to his bone. I felt like the time stop for a moment and I'm the only one who can't move.
The creature started to eat the man. I move backward when I heard his growling. I can hear his stomach and it seems like he's starving for a couple of months.
I ran away from him and came back to the shop. There's nothing in here and I assumed that he cleaned all the traces.
I smell the ground and I followed the scent. It leads me to the dirt.
It looks like he buried his victim.
