ELLA'S POV
I jolt awake to the sensation of icy cold water cascading over my body, the shock pulling me from the deep slumber.
Disoriented, I quickly sit up in bed to find Julia and Asher standing before, wicked grins on their face. They are laughing loudly, the empty bucket held between them.

"It sleeps and groans like a lazy fat pig. Who did it think was supposed to prepare Princess Hellen's night bath?" Asher mocks, her laughter the loudest.
Their laughter stops as I turn to face them, my eyes red and swollen from crying, fresh tears well up once more as I squeeze the water out of my now drenched dress.
"It was also crying? poor thing!" Asher sneers while Julia chuckles softly and sets the empty bucket aside in a corner of the room. Julia has never been the physical bully type, infact she never bully me when Asher is not there.
"Maybe it found it's mate and got rejected, no man wants a fat pig full of flaws," Asher says as both go to their beds.
I ignore their taunts, and rise from the bed squeezing the water from my clothes and make my way towards Princess Hellen's chamber.
Before I even reach the door, a familiar scent wafts towards me, the sweet scent of one of my mates! The pain that had somewhat subsided comes rushing back, sharper than ever. Did one of my mates come back to sleep in Princess Hellen's quarters? The mere thought feels like a knife being twisted deep in my heart. If only I had accepted their rejection, perhaps I wouldn't feel this agonizing pain every time they are with my mistress. But I was too in pain to manage to do that then.

I am hesitant to go into her room anymore, I feel like seeing them together will shatter me completely. But she might get mad if she doesn't get her night bath and take it out on me in the morning. So Summoning my courage, I lift my hand and knock gently on the bedroom door. Silence greets me from within, so I push the door open and step inside.
A repugnant odor immediately hits my nose, drawing my gaze towards the bed where a pool of vomit lies. Princess Hellen lies on her bed already snoring softly. She must have drunk alot but not even bothered to go to the bathroom. Of course, she knew someone would clean up after her, and unfortunately, that someone is me. Thankfully, the task won't be as hard as would have been to preparing her a bath. But what brings me more relief, is the fact that she's alone in bed, not with one of my mates.
Their sweet scents are all over her but one stands out above the rest, a sweet masculine aroma emanating from a beautiful coat draped over her slumbering figure. It's adorned with intricate golden and silver beading along the upper shoulder, undoubtedly a king's garment. A lump forms in my throat. One of the kings must have given it to her during the party to keep her warm. How gentlemanly of them? I can't help but feel a twinge of resentment. How I wish they would treat me even half of how they are treating her.
I reach out and gently remove the lavish coat off her, placing it on a nearby chair. I pull the covers over the sleeping princess, not out of concern for her comfort, but rather to ensure that she isn't left with that accursed coat as her blanket. First thing in the morning I'll go accept their rejection, so that they can be with her as they wish.

I stroll to the bathroom and pick up a bucket of water and a rug and carry them back beside her bed. As I begin to clean her mess my eyes catch sight of a crumpled parchment near the bed. It must have fallen from under her pillow. Curious, I picks it up and seeing it's broken seal I recognize its the letter Princess Hellen had received from her father just the day before.
Curiosity getting the better of me, I carefully unfold the letter and begins to read its contents. My eyes immediately widen as I take in the words written on the parchment, my heart race with a mix of shock and disbelief.
My Dearest Princess Hellen,
It is with a heavy heart that I pen down these words to you. I have made a grave discovery that your attempts to lift the curse that plagues the great Alpha Kings won't be successful.
I have learned that the spell we had agreed you use, is flawed. It requires the blood of a descendant of the rogue peasant slayed by the kings to be effective. If you proceed with the ritual as planned, it is likely to cause untold harm to you or the kings.
However, all is not lost, my dear daughter. I have stumbled upon a small clue that may lead us to the true descendant of the rogue and the key to breaking the curse once and for all. You must return home immediately so that we may work together .
With all my love and hope,
Your  Mother,
The letter reads. So she had indeed been lying to me all along about me having powers to pass her spell power to the kings. Not that I didn't suspect that she was lying from the start. I am probably able to heal them because I am their destined mate.
I doubt princess Hellen has any plans of returning to Silverdale to consult with her mother. I wonder what she is up to. Or is she going to live her best life here, while she asks me to heal her beautiful lovers everyday?
Offcourse it won't be long until they get tired of seeking her healing everyday and want the curse lifted fully.
I contemplate giving this to the alpha kings, so they see that she is lying to them or better I can refuse to participate in her rituals anymore. It won't be long before they know she can't heal them and everything is a lie. Folding the parchment, I tuck it into the folds of my dress before tidying up the room.
As I gather the rug and the bucket something else catches my eye, another letter that lies untouched on her bedside table. It must be the reply she is sending back to her mother.
The urge to open and read what's written is overwhelming. But it's sealed and she will know someone opened it, when she finds the seal broken, so I resist the urge and retreat back to our chamber.
Asher and Julia are already fast asleep. I first asses the damage the water did to my bed and unluckily the covers are soaked and dripping with water. I hang them up before picking one of the heavy coats from my bag and using it as a blanket. It isn't much help in the cold but it will have to do.
