"Lo harás bien, Cass, como siempre", dijo Riley, tratando de tranquilizarme.
"¿Cómo lo sabes?, ¡tal vez lo haga horrible y me abucheen!", estaba reaccionando de una manera exagerada, y él me miró con un rostro inexpresivo; entonces murmuré: "Vale, tienes razón, todo saldrá bien", y Riley solo negó con la cabeza riéndose.
La puerta se abrió, entró su adorable pareja, él la saludó: "¡Hola, bebé!", y ella caminó hacia él y le dio un beso en la mejilla, haciendo que ese tonto enamorado sonriera como si acabara de ganar la lotería. Riley me había dicho que por fin le confesó que era un hombre lobo y que, sorprendentemente, había tomado muy bien la noticia; tanto fue así, que ahora eran un pareja por completo, se veían dichosos y felices, al igual que yo.

"¡Ay, sois tan adorables!", bromeé, y Riley me sacó la lengua, haciendo que Lucy se riera de nuestras payasadas.

Ya era el momento de volver a cantar y los nervios se habían apoderado de mí una vez más.
"Creo que estoy teniendo un déjà vu", dijo una voz familiar detrás de mí.
"¡Logan!", exclamé con felicidad: "¡Has venido!"
"Por supuesto, cariño, ¿cómo podría perderme tu presentación? Extraño verte cantar todas las noches", respondió con una sonrisa paternal.

En ese momento, supe que todo iba a salir bien, de todas formas las cosas por fin estaban mejorando, y nada iba a estropearlo de nuevo, no lo permitiría.
"Tenemos a nuestra increíble Cassidy de regreso, ¡así que dadle una cálida bienvenida!", escuché a Riley anunciándome.
"Es ahora o nunca", me dijo Logan mientras me empujaba para que saliera.
Al volver al escenario mis nervios desaparecieron, y mis ojos se llenaron de lágrimas al ver el apoyo y el amor de la audiencia y de ambas manadas. Miré a mi apuesta pareja, que tenía a nuestra hija sobre sus hombros; ella estaba aplaudiendo como loca, y me saludó cuando la miré, yo le devolví el saludo con una sonrisa que la hizo sonreír a ella aún con más ganas.

Entonces tomé aire y comencé a cantar:

Cuando dejé de cantar, todos empezaron a vitorear y aplaudir, ahora todo estaba realmente bien, este era el comienzo del resto de nuestras vidas y de la felicidad que siempre debimos tener.
