Chapter 9

When I opened my eyes again, I realized that I was all chained up in a spread-eagle position on the bloody bed.
"Let me go!"
I immediately thought of struggling to get up. However, even my neck was chained in place, and I nearly strangled myself with it.

The cast iron chains made loud clanging noises every time I moved, and I could feel my heart gradually sinking in desolation.
"Oh? You've got quite the fight in you," a sultry voice suddenly said.
Arielle's face suddenly appeared from the dark. The only faint source of light from above my head was shining down on her twisted, frightening face.
"W-What are you planning to do? W-Who are you?"
I continued to scream. I was so frightened that I couldn't help stammering as I shouted.
"Me? I'm your head surgeon, of course."

Arielle was smiling lifelessly at me as she suddenly conjured a shining surgical knife from nowhere.
"You're so big and strong. I'm sure that your organs must be big and strong too. Those wealthy people would definitely appreciate them."
"You really know how to manhandle him, Arielle. You know just what to do so that he'd listen to every word we said. We wouldn't have gotten such a catch otherwise," Raven said, suddenly appearing from the other corner of the basement. She was holding a syringe and needle in her hand.
"Hurry up and do it! We're going to earn so much from this body alone!"

Riley's head suddenly appeared from under the bed. She still had a sweet smile on her face, but it only made me break out in cold sweat. It was a very sinisterly sweet smile.
"Help! Help me, save me! Help!" I screamed at the top of my lungs.
Arielle watched as I screamed and struggled on the bed. She then grinned widely and even started clapping for me.
"This basement is completely soundproof, and then some. We could cut you up with a circular saw, and nobody would still be able to hear you."
I was in despair. I looked at the syringe and needle in Raven's hands. Some sort of liquid was coming out of the needle. All of sudden, I felt a sharp pain in my thigh.
It felt as though something had been injected into me.
Arielle nodded in satisfaction, praising Raven for having improved.
A while after, I could feel the cool blade of the surgical knife dancing about my belly. It made my skin crawl.
She seemed to be looking for a suitable spot to cut me open. Arielle suddenly paused at a spot and suddenly applied pressure to the knife.
"Ah!"
