I fought,but his roughness only excited him.

The pain was unbearable,filthy,like the night I was taken advantage of,when I wanted to die.
At dawn,Ethan had fallen asleep.
I rubbed my dry eyes—Tears was dryed up.

I sneered,grabbing her hair,yanking her up.
“Playing the victim?You and Ethan are two peas in a pod.”
“I gave you my kidney,and you want him too?Dream on.”
I shoved her. Then she clung and kneeling wherever I went.
Shameless—she was invincible.
“Sarah,let me have Ethan.I love him.”
“I’ll give you money, even anything you want.”
I laughed coldly,jabbing her forehead.“Would you give me your life?”
She clutched her belly and trembled.
She didn’t need to beg.I was dying.
If I die,Ethan would be free, and they’d be happy together.

“Why’d you scare Jessica?What if she miscarries?”

“You’re the one who’s changed.”
I held up the prayer bead bracelet.“Remember this?”
His$85 and this bracelet were enough for me to remember him forever.
“You pulled me from the abyss,then pushed me back in.”
