Nathan, you walked right into this.I wrote a detailed account of the whole story to clear my name, including a recording from the dinner that night.
I had been smart, keeping my phone recording from the moment I arrived.I didn't want to post it at first, but since the Brooks family played dirty,I wasn't gonna hold back anymore.
The moment I posted, people started supporting me instead.I went from the villain to the victim.

"Girl,we've got your back—keep fighting that scum!""That guy and his family are disgusting. They were scheming from the biginning!"
"Post his pic so that no one would date him in the future!"
I couldn't share Nathan's photo—that's illegal. But I named his job at him company in the post.
People figured it out.Being socially dead is real death.Nathan thought he could restart after detention?Wrong.
I sent his boss an email detailing how he had sold company secrets and colluded with a rival to sabotage his firm.I hadn't checked my old email in ages, but while digging for evidence,I logged in and found Nathan's emails to the rival's execs, plus proof of hefty bribes. He had used my email to avoid detection.Thanks,Nathan.If it weren’t for the need to clear my name,I wouldn't have checked my old email account and found out about his crimes.
Nathan was rearrested soon after leaving detention.Trying to leave it all behind him and get on with his life? Not so easy.

His parents became infamous online.Friends and family shunned them.One day,walking home,I saw a crowd.It was Nathan's sister,Sarah,with their parents.
"You ungrateful girl!Married and forgot your own family?Where you gonna run to?"Nathan's dad grabbed Sarah's bag.
"We just need to borrow some money.Nathan's your brother—you can't just stand by and watch him gets ruined!"Nathan's mom wept, likely trying to cover Nathan's embezzlement so that he could get out of jail sooner.
"I'm not heartless—I'm broke!You haven't repaid the$10,0000 for the house.My husband's threatening to divorce me!"Sarah said,mortified.

"No money?Mortgage your house then!Your brother can't go to jail—he's our family's heir!"Nathan's mom tugged at Sarah.
"He's a scum who hurt girls and broke the law.He deserves this!"Sarah tried to leave, but her parents flanked her.
"Why not sell the house Nathan bought? Why are you always after me?"Sarah cried.
"Sell the house? You idiot! If we sell, where's your brother gonna live when he gets out, how’s he gonna find a wife?Should've drowned you at birth!"Nathan's dad ranted.
"You think I wanted to be your daughter?I always gave in to Nathan. My grades were better, but you made me drop out to support him.If I'd known this was gonna be my life,I'd rather not exist in the first place!"Sarah's pain accumulated over the years finally erupted.
"You stupid girl.Sisters exist to help brothers out!"Nathan's mom fueled the fire.
"I helped him out of my love for him as family, but no one can force me to do anything! It isn’t a must for me to always help him.Be fair, and we're family.Keep playing favorites, and I'm no longer your daughter!"Sarah screamed through tears.
The crowd buzzed.Sarah's life in that family was rough, but it didn't excuse her action of scheming against me.You reap what you sow.
