She kept eyeing the door.
"Where's the big boss..."
Just then,the waiter opened the door.
I walked in,arm-in-arm with my dad,smiling brightly.
"Sorry to keep everyone waiting!"
All eyes turned to us.Who had time to fawn over Chloe now?
Old employees knew I was the boss's daughter.
"Claire's getting prettier!A real stunner!"
"Come,sit,eat before it gets cold!"
I sat confidently next to my dad,all cozy.
Chloe's eyes nearly popped out with disbelief written all over her face.
She whispered urgently to a colleague.
"Who's she?"
"You don't know?The boss's precious little girl!"
The colleague ignored her,turning to flatter my dad.

Chloe caught the term and instantly understood.
She slumped,watching our intimate interaction,practically biting through her lip!
