The door opened, revealing Lucas, the assistant who, last life, helped Paige seize our fortune.
This time,I’d paid his mother’s medical bills, turning him into my loyal ally.
I nodded discreetly, signaling him to play along.

He bowed to Paige, but his eyes flicked to me.
She beamed,oblivious.
I feigned outrage.“Lucas, you’re with her? After Ethan and I got you that job?”
Lucas bowed,“guilty.”
Paige,seeing my“fury,”spilled her plan like a sieve.“Quinn,you’re pretty and rich,but dumb.And your useless brother,handing the company to outsiders?You deserve this.A little cash,and Larson Corp’s mine.”
She sneered, signing Lucas’s documents without reading, “Kneel and beg, and I might leave you 1%—you won’t starve.”

I smirked.“Read what you signed.”
Paige froze, staring at the papers—decoy calligraphy sheets, not share transfers.
“You traitor!”she shrieked, throwing them at Lucas, lunging to hit him.
He dodged,nimble and quick.

Paige, panting, calmed, glaring.“You forced me into this,Quinn.I’ve got some compromising photos of you and Ethan. If you don’t want them leaked, hand over the money.”
I scoffed.
Lucas reported,“Ms.Larson,the signal jammer’s active.”
I stuck out my tongue.“Leak them!”
Paige fumed,helpless.
I had her devices destroyed, tossed her$200,and dragged Ethan out.
Something felt off—Ethan seemed weak.
Behind us,Paige cursed wildly.
Her trials wouldn’t wait long.
I’d hired a gem:Tommy,a lawyer with a three-year losing streak,now jobless.
He stood before me,quivering.“Ms.Larson,I can’t do this.”
I asked,half-reassuringly him.“Never say can’t.I trust you’ll get your client the death penalty.”
Tommy teared up.“I know I’m bad,but cursing me?”
I patted his head,cryptic.“You’ll see.”
This was my sincere wish: to see justice served.
I compiled evidence, made backups, and led a shaky Tommy into court.
First,the divorce trial.
Paige, seeing an unfamiliar lawyer, lit up,begging Tommy to maximize her cut.
Tommy, glancing at me and the hysterical Paige, froze, his dim brain overwhelmed.
Ignoring her,he opened the files.Meanwhile, Paige, impatient, shook him, accidentally projecting a blurred video—her moans echoing.
She screamed to stop it amid courtroom whispers.
Tommy’s arguments ensured Paige got nothing and owed Ethan and the audience emotional damages.
Fair—our eyes suffered.
Next,the assault trial.
I defended Paige;Tommy opposed,pushing for Cory’s harsher sentence.
Back in court,I grinned, unaffected by Paige’s hateful stare.
With my evidence of Cory’s drug use and assaults,Tommy stumbled, but Cory got the death penalty, effective immediately.
Paige,by comparison,seemed to gain.
After court,she followed me,stunned.
I ignored her,signaling Ethan at a corner.
My phone rang—ThunderBro’s number.
I cooed, “ThunderBro, finally! Paige is fine. I know you love her streams—I’m not jealous. You’re my favorite, even if you used my money to top her donor list. Just don’t chat with her privately, or I’ll pout.”
Paige,watching,grew greedy.
The fish was hooked.
