"Don't deny it.I checked the surveillance footage as soon as I got home and I saw it was you.You came with my daughter-in-law.If you have the guts, come at me directly. Why the hell are you bothering my daughter-in-law?"
I couldn't help but laugh. So this old lady could get anxious too.Although she was cursing, her tone was laced with desperation.I couldn't hold back and said,"Aren't I coming at you?Now you should worry about how to explain to your son that his future girlfriend has run away.I wonder if your son will cut off all contact with you when he finds out his girlfriend broke up with him because of his mother."
Auntie Lily kept cursing on the other end of the phone. On Emily's side, she had just finished the call and blocked all of her boyfriend's contact information.

"Auntie Amy,thank you.I've broken up with him.Now I'm going back to pack my things and leave this place.I'm going back to my hometown to find a job.I want to spend the rest of my life with my parents.Marriage and love aren't as important as my family."
There was a look of relief in Emily's eyes, with no trace of sadness. This relationship had been weighing her down, and now that she had decided to leave, she looked completely free.
I wished her a long and happy life.At this point,my connection with Emily came to an end.
But on Auntie Lily's side,it was a complete mess.Emily, the easy-to-manipulate girl, had actually called it quits. When her own son came home, his face was like a thundercloud, and he didn't give Auntie Lily any good looks.
The mother and son were at each other's throats in the room, their words and gazes filled with hostility."Mom,look at what you've done. You've been picking on young people on the bus every day.I've known about all the things that have happened over the years, but I turned a blind eye because it was your business. But you messed with Emily.Do you know what kind of girl Emily is?"
"Other girls only care about my money and will only marry me if I give them hundreds of thousands of dollars .But Emily came from far away. She's all alone. If she married me,she would serve me and be filial to you at home.Once we got her,we'd have won.But because of your stupid actions, you drove her away. Now I don't know who else will marry me."

Auntie Lily's son was more bitter than a sour lemon, and his words were full of selfishness.
Auntie Lily retorted,"What does it have to do with me?You're my son,and you have the same personality as me.Why don't you admit it's your own problem?Of course,I think the biggest problem is that old hag.She actually got Emily to cause trouble for me."
Auntie Lily gritted her teeth as she spoke. But all her regret was too late.
Auntie Lily hated me,but a month later, she still took the initiative to contact me."Old sister,I'll pay you the remaining$450,000.But I have only one condition:bring my daughter-in-law back to me.I don't care how you do it,but I want everything to go back to the way it was."

I really wanted that remaining money, but I wouldn't bring Emily back.If I desired the money but couldn't bring Emily back,I would be charged with extortion. It was a pity, but just thinking about how frustrated Auntie Lily must be on the other end of the phone made me so happy that I ordered several cups of coffee.
"Auntie Lily,it's too late.I gave you a chance,but you didn't cherish it.Actually,my pension is$30,000 a month,while yours is just a little over$10,000.I really don't need the money.I just want to see you come to a bad end.Hahaha."
Now all our conflicts were out in the open. She didn't dare to openly pick a fight with me.
She could only scream and curse my whole family, using the most vulgar words to pierce my ears. But it didn't matter.I didn't care at all.
Auntie Lily and her son had a complete falling-out.Her son wanted Emily to come back and reconcile, but Auntie Lily failed. Her son blamed her for everything, and the two of them started blaming each other.
Blame bred hatred and eroded their family bond.
In the end,the mother and son had a huge row,and they even set their house on fire. They fought each other like enemies.
