Ryan was discharged from the hospital.
When I got off work,I saw him waiting for me downstairs.
When he saw me coming down,he walked up to me with a flattering expression.

The scars on his forehead and chin were quite obvious, and he had really changed a lot.
The scars were long, and he gave off a different feeling.
He used to be very masculine and handsome, but now he looked a bit ruffian.
He touched his forehead and chin,"Did I become ugly?"
I shook my head,"No."
"Yoyo, let me treat you to dinner.I want to talk to you."

"No need,Ryan. We made it very clear in the hospital that day.Don't come to find me again in the future. It's not good for others to see us here downstairs of the office building."
"Yoyo,I..."
"Stop talking.I'm leaving."
"Can we still be friends in the future?"

I nodded.
Then I turned around and left.
Later,I don't know how Ryan found out the address of the place where I'm currently renting.
In the morning when I went to work,I often saw his car parked at the entrance of the community.
He would follow behind my car on the way to work.
I didn't take the initiative to greet him.
I just pretended not to see him.
It was Leo,though. Our working hours were quite consistent, and we often ran into each other in the garage.
His parking space was opposite to the landlord's.
Sometimes I would check if his car was there to see if he had come back from work.
Police officers don't have many social engagements, and he was quite well-behaved.
He was always on time when coming back from work every day.
Sometimes when I didn't feel like cooking, the two of us would cook together.
The braised pork he made could always make me eat an extra bowl of rice every time.
After dinner,he would walk me downstairs and take out the trash by the way.
I offered to help him take the trash downstairs on my way,but he wouldn't let me.We lived in adjacent buildings, and he would accompany me to the downstairs of my building and watch me enter the unit door.
