Amanda became even more flustered.
"What?I'm shopping!Husband, is there something?"
"Not much.I've finished work at the company.Where are you?I'll come pick you up and we can go home together,"I said, forcing a smile and suppressing my anger.
"No need,husband. Just go straight home, and I'll come home too."
"Okay."
I didn't expose Amanda's lie directly.
After hanging up the phone.
The detective agency sent me many more photos.
In the photos,Amanda was in a hurry to straighten her clothes and was sent out of the door by Kevin.
"Hmph,no matter how elaborate your schemes are,you won't get away with it in the end!"
I narrowed my eyes.
As long as I get more evidence of Amanda's infidelity.
I could confront her and make her leave the house with nothing!
When I got home.
Amanda had already arrived.
And she was busy cooking in the kitchen.
"Husband,you've been working so hard these days.I made your favorite fish soup!"
Amanda ran up to me, kissed me,and then said with a smile.

She actually cared so much about the unborn child in her womb.

Hadn't Kevin not informed Amanda about my visit to the hospital?
She could still pretend to be so calm.
Perhaps Amanda was preparing to carry out her conspiracy plan!
I was a bit glad that I had discovered it in advance.
Otherwise,that delicious fish soup today might have been my death soup!
"Husband,why has the company so busy lately?You don't have time to spend with our little baby,"Amanda said coquettishly, noticing my preoccupation.

"Now they are getting a divorce.I suspect Mr.Brown's wife will leave with nothing!"
I spoke in a casual tone, pretending to be completely uninvolved.
But I could clearly see the color drain from Amanda’s face.
"Amanda,what do you think is wrong with women these days?Mr.Brown is such a good man!"
After spinning the tale, I deliberately sighed melodramatically.
"I don't understand.Husband,I'm not feeling well.Let's go home?"
"Okay."
I sneered in my heart.
Couldn't she take it anymore?
Perhaps she was scared by my words about leaving the house with nothing?
When we got home.
Amanda began to urge me to take a shower.
The way she looked at me grew more passionate.
A shy blush adorned her pretty face, and with the tear mole between her eyebrows, she looked particularly charming.
In the past,this was a signal of Amanda's affection.
Every time,we would be lost in each other’s arms until we were utterly spent.
But now,I just felt disgusted from the bottom of my heart!
I took a hot shower.

When I walked into the kitchen,I found that the pot was clean.
"Husband,do you think my new pajamas look nice?"
A soft, alluring voice came from behind me.
Amanda was wearing pajamas and her eyes were full of charm.
She even wiggled her finger at me seductively.
In the past,this would definitely have aroused my desire to possess her.
But now I really wasn't in the mood.
"Husband,what are you looking for?I want you!"

"Where's the fish soup?"

I used the excuse that she was pregnant and for the sake of the baby.
"The doctor said it'd be fine as long as we're careful."

My refusal dampened Amanda's enthusiasm like a bucket of cold water.
Then I even proposed that we sleep in separate rooms.
Amanda couldn't persuade me,and her expression also became unnatural.
