After getting the video,I went to the girl's house.
The middle-aged man who opened the door should be the girl's father.
"Who are you looking for?"
He looked at me warily.I took out my phone.
"Tom should have talked to you about marrying your daughter today,right?I don't know how satisfied you are with him,but I think you should take a look at this first."
Before the video finished playing,the man's face visibly darkened.
"Who are you?Why are you showing me this?"
The man held my phone tightly and asked.
"Let me introduce myself.My name is Jack.My relationship with Tom?Former prospective brother-in-law?"
"By the way,let me mention one more thing.I run a medical supplies company and should meet the criteria for your daughter's marriage."
"Also,the money Tom brought for the marriage proposal today was extorted from me."
After I told him the whole story,the man's expression became even darker.
Regarding my proposal,he said he would consider it.
I told him to take his time,but not to confront Tom's family until tomorrow.
After leaving the girl's house,I went home.
I had a really good sleep!

Early the next morning,I went to the police station.
"Comrade,I've been blackmailed and extorted!"
Three hours after I came out of the police station,I received a call from Lisa.
Her voice was trembling on the phone.I didn't know if it was from anger or fear.
"Jack,what the hell have you done?Why did the police come and take Tom away?"
"Come to my house right now and explain this clearly.Otherwise,I'll immediately expose all your dirty deeds!"
After hanging up the phone,I immediately drove over.It wasn't because I was afraid,but because this matter wasn't over yet!
"You son of a bitch!We agreed not to expose you,but you played such a dirty trick behind our backs.What do you want by getting Tom arrested?"
"Quickly get Tom out,or I'll never let you go."
As soon as I entered the house,my former father-in-law,David,grabbed my collar and pushed me against the wall.
This actually made me happier.
"Uncle,I advise you not to be so excited.If you hit me,I'll just lie down on the ground."
"Tom is already in there.You don't want to go in with him,do you?"
After hearing my words,the veins on David's forehead bulged,but a few seconds later,he let go of me.
I straightened my collar.
"You said I played a dirty trick behind your backs.That's right,but who played the trick first?"
I looked at their family and smiled slightly.
"Jack,don't be complacent.At worst,we'll all go down together!Don't forget that we still have your photos."
"If you don't get Tom out today,we'll expose you immediately."
My former mother-in-law,Lisa,threatened me again.
I shrugged.
"Aunt,the photos can't scare me now."
"When the police came,they must have checked your phones and deleted all the photos and videos after recording them,right?Otherwise,they wouldn't have taken Tom away just based on my one-sided story."
"Now the only place those photos exist is probably in the hands of the police.Of course,even if you made a backup,it's useless.Now that the police have made a record,as soon as the photos are leaked,you can go and reunite with Tom in prison."
The change in Lisa's flustered expression confirmed my guess.Just as I thought,those photos couldn't be exposed anymore and couldn't pose a threat to me.
But after just a short moment of panic,Lisa's expression regained some composure.
