Chapter 52 PARENTS' APPROVAL

Hannah closed her eyes and she lends her ears. "Your heart beat is as fast as my heart beat when I'm with you," she looked up and smiled at Adam. "Am I right?" She pinched Adam's nose and said, "I knew it! I can feel it."
Hannah suddenly stops when Adam says, "I love you Hannah". Harold and Innah heard what Adam uttered when they just arrived. They looked at each other and move backward silently so that the two will not know that they are in the room.
"You're such a lovely lady Hannah, I have a crush on you since then you caught my attention when you were dancing as a cheerleader. Now, that you are awake, I want to know you more, Adam said while his tears are flowing into his face.
Hannah wiped his tears and whispered, "Don't cry, handsome guy. I'm accepting your offer; I want to know you more, too."
"So, are we going on a date?" Adam jumped because of joy. "Are you serious?" He smiled and shouted. "Uuhhhhhhhhhh! We are going on a date! YEEEEEEEESSSSSS!"
"Ssssshhhhhhhh!" Hannah held Adam's hand and requested him to sit down. But Adam continued to what he's doing. He is very happy, very very happy!
While Harold and Innah are hiding, Innah accidentally hit Harold's tummy. Harold reacted, "Ooohhh! Ouch" Innah covered Harold's mouth.
"Hey Adam! Did you hear that noise? Come on! Let's check what's that noise." Adam lends his arm to Hannah's shoulder and they walk slowly towards Harold and Innah's position.
They saw Harold and Innah hiding, "Ooohhhh!"
"You're caught in act. And why are you hiding there? Are you listening to us Mom? Dad?" Hannah asked.
Harold and Innah both nodded. Adam hugged them and said, "Thank you uncle, auntie, for letting me show my love for you and your daughter. It really means a lot to me."
Hannah stared at them rolled her eyes and whispered, "Hmmmmm... Is Adam now their son?" then she smiled. "Since when? Well, I guess they knew Adam more than I know him now. They've been for five (5) years, maybe, Adam gained their trust that's why they are treating him like their own son now and it's worth the wait for Adam. He's waiting for a long time and his love for me never fades even if I'm lying on my bed in the hospital."
Harold and Innah heard what she uttered.
They hugged Hannah too and said, "We are both happy for you honey!"
"So, you are going on a date starting tomorrow?" Harold asked them and smiled.
Hannah and Adam looked at each other and said, "If it is okay for you?"
"Your approval uncle, auntie, is more important as a sign of respect, you'll be the one to decide because you are the parents of the lady who stole my heart," Adam added with a smile on his face causing his dimples showed up in his face.
Harold tapped Adam's shoulder three times; "I'm always saying this to you since the day my daughter spends her 5 years life in this room. I will repeat it again, Take care of our daughter. We entrusted her to you. Don't hurt her, don't let her cry, always make her happy." He added and gave Adam a man hug.
"Your dad really likes Adam for you honey," she held Hannah's both hands and requested, "Don't hurt Adam too, huh? He really deserves to be loved by someone he loves."
She called Adam and give her daughter's hands to him. Adam held Hannah's hand and promised her by saying, "I promised to love you with all my heart, no matter what happens I'll always be by your side. I will take care of you and support you in everything you do."
"Adam, thank you for taking care of my mom and dad. Thank you for helping them take care of me," Hannah thanked him sincerely.
"Hey! Let's end up this drama. Adam you may go home now, it's getting late. Hannah will rest now. Tomorrow she will be discharged. You can visit her in our house after your classes," Innah said.
"Innah, I'll take him home. It's getting late. Is it okay with you?" Harold asked his wife.
"Yeah sure. Don't drive so fast darling, huh. Take care of Adam," Innah requested.
"Adam, again, thank you so much," she smiled. She looked at Hannah and said, "Ohh honey, Adam is leaving now." Hannah nodded and said, "Hey! Visit me tomorrow, huh. I'll wait for you in our house."
"I can't wait for tomorrow, of course I will visit you, Hannah," he smiled and waved a little. Hannah kissed him in his cheek and smiled.
"Hey! Did I ask you to kiss me?" His eyebrows met. He covered his face so that Hannah will not see him blushing and pinched Hannah cheek then mess up her hair.
"Uggghh!" Hannah reacted, "And what do you think you are doing? Why are you covering your face?" She smelled her breath.
"Ohhhh nothing," Adam covered his face while walking away and until they left the room.
Harold took Adam home safely and he goes back to the hospital. Harold entered the room and saw his wife and daughter sleeping. He looked at them and kissed them both in forehead. Hannah's parent slept with her until...
A rainy morning awakes them. Hannah was finally discharged from the hospital.
They went home, she was amazed when she entered the main door of their house. Adam is there! He decorated the house to welcome back Hannah! He's holding a banner and a bouquet of flowers.
Hannah cried because of happiness. She accepted the bouquet of flowers and smelled it. "Thank you, babe, I was surprised."
Adam blushed, "Ohhh what did you call me? Babe?"
