Chapter 44 THE BRUTAL CULPRIT

Terrence got the first aid kit. Unexpectedly, he saw some medical equipment in the room near the medic box. He raised his hand to give Kesiah a sign that he'll enter the room and wait for him no matter what.
One thing caught his attention when he got inside the room, the broken window with fresh blood flowing into it. When he is moving closer to the window, he saw a woman lying on the floor. She was brutally killed; her internal organs are gone. She died with opened eyes. He moved quickly to get all of the medical equipment and tools that will help them survive in the middle of the dark ocean especially their wounded friends. He suspects that someone who killed her is not a human because of the damages in the victim's body.
He came back where he left Kesiah and the kid.
"Terrenceeee." She runs towards him and she hugged him. The bag you are carrying; it looks heavy. You got an oxygen tank and other equipment," Kesiah recognized.
"The kid, is he alright?" He asked then he checked the kid's pulse. The kid is still alive," Terrence said happily.
"Wait, I'll help you. Give me the bag," Kesiah insisted but Terrence refused to give it to her.
"No, just hold my hand. I can handle this," Terrence uttered.
"How about the kid?" Kesiah looked at him.
"Kesh, don't worry. I'll carry the kid. He looks heavy too, he's chubby for you to carry this cute little boy", he insisted and stared at her.
They went back to the room carrying the kid and the medical bag.
"We found two people on our way before we came back here," Terrence puts down the kid on the floor while panting. Kesiah helped her on the heavy bag on his back.
"Wait, what do you mean two? We just found a cute chubby little boy. Who's the other one?" Kesiah wondered.
"I saw a lady wearing a lab gown in the room near the medic box. Is there a clinic room here in the yacht, sir?" Terrence asked him.
"Yes, there is. My girl best friend's family owned this yacht I was requested by his father to drive this yacht because he can't join them today and he will just follow them the other day because he has something important to do," Gio explained.
"Where's my best friend? Why didn't you take her here inside the pilot's room?" the pilot continued.
Terrence bowed down his head. "Sad to say, if the lady wearing a lab gown is your best friend, she's dead," Terrence reported in a low energy tone.
"No! She's not dead. Where is your proof, huh? Did you see her not breathing? Did you check her pulse? Or if her heart beats?" Gio gets up and he punched Terrence because of anger.
"Hey, why did you do that to Terrence?" Kesiah stopped him. "Terrence, what happened to her best friend?" Kesiah asked him.
"I saw her lying on the floor. She died with opened eyes. Her internal organs are gone. It's like someone gets her internal organs, there's a huge hole created in her stomach because of the taken organs," Terrence discussed in a trembling voice.
Gio believes Terrence when the kid gained his consciousness and recognized the pilot. "Kuya (brother) Gio?" the kid called him.
"Xian? Where's your sister? Where's Tita (auntie) Bea?" he asked the kid with teary eyes.
"Kuya Gio, Ate Bea is in the clinic room. She shouted at me, I thought she was mad at me because she told me to go outside the clinic room. Then, she widened her eyes to me. I cried then she whispered, "hide". I heard something intentionally hits the window. At first, it is just a mild crack then my sister pushed me away, I crawled until I opened the door. I saw her lying on the floor and vomiting blood. I want to help her but she keeps on pushing me away. I didn't know what happened next. All I remember is, my feet brought me to the narrow pathway where I accidentally hit my head in the wall and I lost consciousness," the kid discussed clearly.
"How come you clearly pay attention to those details? I think you are just a 5-year-old boy." Kiarra pinched his cheeks.
"No, he's just a 3-year-old little boy," Gio uttered while scratching his head. "He looks like a 5-year-old little boy because of his height and weight", he explained while smiling at the kid.
"Wow, he's so cute. I thought he was a 5-year-old boy. He's so smart, sir." Kiarra admired the kid.
They all stopped for a while when they heard Hannah and Adam's voice from the receiving device of the pilot.
"We saw dead bodies, an old woman and an old man, they held each other's hand until their last breath. We found their bodies in the pathway near the pilot's room when we turned left. I think it's 100 meters away from the room," Adam explained.
"Hmmmmmmm…It's Lola Marge and Lolo Whinston." Xian cried. "There's a monster killer inside the yacht," he cried louder.
"We also found dead bodies of couple downstairs, a lady wearing red dress and a man wearing a red long sleeve," Hannah reported sadly.
Terrence went outside and he gets back to the clinic room. On his way, he noticed two people in at the end of the narrow pathway. They were lying on the floor, he checked on the two before he goes in the clinic room.
"Too late, they're dead. What's the mystery behind this killing? Their internal organs were missing just like what happened Gio's best friend's body. He dragged the dead bodies to the pilot's room. He knocked on the door and left the dead bodies near the door. He went back to the clinic room. He carried the dead body of Bea, Gio's girl best friend and take her to the pilot's room.
Near the room, he noticed that the dead bodies were not yet taken to the room. He started to suspect that there might something bad happened to his friends inside the room. He knocked on the door again and Kesiah opened it for him. He put down Bea on the floor then he asked Kesiah to help him dragged the two dead bodies he found in the narrow pathway.
Meanwhile, Hannah and Adam brought two dead bodies in the room. They asked Terrence and Kesiah to help them get the six dead bodies they left downstairs.
Luckily, they were able to bring all the dead bodies inside the pilot's room. (Xian's grandparents, a teenager couple, Xian's parents, Bea's two elder brothers, Xian's two siblings and Bea. One out of 12 passengers survived, the youngest in the family, Xian, a 3-year-old little boy.)
After they completed the number of dead bodies, the brutal culprit attacks them. It is enormous in size with red flickering eyes. It has thorns in its body and a strong tail that hits the front glass shield of the pilot's room. The monster made a strong hit that cause a lot of damage in the room, it's like an earthquake attack.
The monster's tail with thorns attacked them. They run together, Gio told Xian to hold onto his shirt very tight for him not to get lost when they exit the room and the kid did.
