They entered the main door of Atty. Galiego's house and they saw Vhiann and Atty. Galiego's analyzing something about the case. They sit beside them in a long sofa in the living room.
"We're glad you're back!" They said.
"Atty. Galiego, I have some questions that you have to answer. Tomorrow is the judgement day of Mr. Jones. I hope you don't mind if we ask you something weird," Adam said while scratching his head. He sits beside the lawyer and Hannah sits beside Vhiann.
"What do you mean?" Atty. Galiego asked.
"I know you are the only person who can answer it. We need your help," Hannah said.
"You know your best friends well, right? What will do you if one of your best friends, did something foul to your other best friend? Ohh wait! Don't answer those questions yet. Answer this first, how sure are you that you all have infinity tattoo on your left hand?" Adam asked.
"I am so sure that we have the same tattoo on the same hand. We always show that when we are talking about friendship. He just showed it up week ago before Mr. Jones was accused as killer of his own wife," replied Atty. Galiego confidently.
Adam stared at Hannah, and she did the same thing. What's on their minds are the same too. "How did that happen?"
"What if I tell him that Atty. Nicdao, is the guy together with Mrs. Jones in the picture? How will you react?" Hannah asked while her left eyebrow is higher than her right one.
"Are you both crazy? Why are you telling me that weird thing? I can't believe you are telling nonsense stories. Are you trying to ruin our friendship by telling him that?" Atty. Galiego angrily said.
"We are both crazy! Okay fine! Say anything you wanted to say but we are telling you the truth. You believe that Mr. Jones is innocent right? If we had proved it to the court that he is innocent, who will be the suspect? You?" Adam answered trying to convince the lawyer that they were just telling the truth.
"Why me?" the lawyer curiously asked.
"If you had an infinity tattoo on your left hand and all of you had it on the left hand then who's the other man of the victim? Only the three of you had that tattoo. Mr. Jones is the one who hired private investigator and those pictures that we had found in the drawer, those are the pictures taken by the private investigator," Hannah explained and gave two different pictures and seriously asks, "How can you explain this if Atty. Nicdao can't do that?"
"The man in the picture together with Mrs. Jones, has infinity tattoo on his right hand and he is none other than "Atty. Nicdao" her other man. The evidences are speaking with us. You'll see those pictures that the tattoo is at the right but it is not clear. How come the clearer one changed its position? The infinity tattoo now is on the left? Which one of these pictures do you believe? The different one or the pictures telling you majority that the tattoo of the man is at the right and not in the left. Maybe that different one was flipped while someone who printed it didn't notice that he flipped that picture accidentally," Adam explained it further.
"Is this true?" his sweat flows and can't believe what he had discovered.
"We can't earn money nor achievements here if we lied on you. What we are telling you are all true, nothing but the truth. If you'll not listen to us, you'll be the one to be accused who had a secret affair with the victim," Hannah told him sincerely.
"Have pity on yourself and to your best friend, Mr. Jones and you are both innocent in the crime. He was suspecting that her wife is having other man that's why he hired private investigator to find out if his instinct is right. That was because of the red toothbrush," Adam added showing concern to the lawyer.
"How did that happen? Atty. Nicdao didn't court Ms. Franchesca Thames (Mrs. Jones)?" Vhiann asked.
"Atty. Nicdao is not a vocal person, he didn't tell something unless you asked him about it. He's not the type of person who will say something about himself. Even his best friends don't know a lot about him, about his attitude yes, about how he is as best friend yes, but about his life not at all. He always tells his best friend when they are asking about his previous life, he keeps on telling, "I want to forget all in my past, I hope you understand." Atty. Galiego told them.
"Upon observing, Hannah and I concluded that maybe Mrs. Jones is Atty. Nicdao's EX-GIRLFRIEND before you met this woman.
And about the nephew whom supposed to sleep in their house when the crime happened, he is really related with both Atty. Nicdao and Mrs. Jones.
If you didn't kill Mrs. Jones and you believe that your best friend Mr. Jones can't do that too and Atty. Nicdao is not related to the crime… Who? Who is telling the truth and who's telling a lie between You and Mr. Jones?" Hannah used reverse psychology.
"I can't do that; Mr. Jones can't do that too. So, is he? Is Atty. Nicdao killed Franchesca? That's why he is trying to get all the evidences we have when he went to my house and messed it up?" Atty. Galiego got it now.
"So, are you telling us that the 'nephew' the victim's talking about is her own child to Atty. Nicdao?" Vhiann asked with a bit confusion.
"Yes, he is, by the statement of both Mr. Jones and Atty. Galiego that Franchesca stayed in New York for 5 years and Atty. Nicdao didn't show up to them for a long time. We concluded that the suspect might followed the victim in New York. They hide what happened in New York 2 years ago that Mrs. Jones got pregnant," Adam stated
"They might be afraid of what Franchesca's parents will say to her knowing that she's the one whom they believe will take them in a better future as soon as she goes back to the country. So, when she came back, she wasn't able to tell her parents about what happened to her and Atty. Nicdao," Hannah added.
