Chapter 33 FRIENDSHIP'S GOAL!

The accused husband looked at the pictures one by one but he wasn't able to recognize the man, but he is sure that he is not the guy in the picture together with his wife. "I guess my wife got the pictures sent to me by the private investigator. She got those in the mail box. Now, I know." he said while nodding his head and all of a sudden, he wasn't able to keep what he feels about that, he can't stop his tears flowing down to his face. She cheated on me. "I'm a strong man so I should not cry", he refused and wiped his tears immediately.
Hannah and Adam looked at each other like having the same thing on their minds. He didn't know all of this, just now. Yet, the accused said, "Even if she cheated on me, I'll forgive her because I love her more than my life, I love my child inside her womb. I love them both. No father will hurt his own child, no husband will hurt his own wife." He cried out loud and that moment he let his tears flow until it stops. "If I found out who killed them, I will put that person on jail for life. So, please get me out of here, I can't do that to my family." he said in a soft voice sound then he shouted, "Justice for me and for my family". The policeman heard him and said, "If you didn't kill them, the truth will set you free" You stand up there, the policeman held his shirt and forced him to go back in his prison cell.
"The visiting hours is done what are you waiting for, you better leave now, "he shouted.
Hannah and Adam left the jail, and their feet lead them to go home to share the information they gathered from Mr. Jones. After an hour, they reached Atty. Galiego's house. They entered the door and they saw Vhiann cooking in the kitchen while Atty. Galiego is drinking his coffee in the dining area. They are talking about the infinity sign in his pulse and how did he get that.
"Hey guys! We're back! How are you here?" They said and go straight to the dining area and sit beside Atty. Galiego.
"We're good. My patient just woke up. We are now talking about his infinity tattoo," Vhiann wiped her wet hands and takes off the apron she is wearing and bring the food she cooked in the dining area.
Atty. Galiego's house is not that huge. It has second floor where two rooms are located. His bedroom on the left and his study room at the right. Downstairs, is the living room if you go straight, if you go left the dining room followed by the kitchen, go right if you want to leave the house, the main door is there. He has (3) three comfort rooms, the one is in his bedroom, the second one is in his study room and the third one is opposite to the dining area.
That is how Atty. Galiego's house looks like. He is just a simple man. The walls are painted blue a sign of peace but at the same time symbolizes, sad feeling. His study room's wall has different paint color, it was painted white symbolizes clean and purity, he sometimes stayed there to relax even if he is working. His main door has security device with pin code, other doors have just simple locks.
The lawyer told them about his infinity tattoo, he started telling about his life and profession. "I am just a simple man. I don't have parents; I live here alone."
"Where are your parents?" Adam asked.
"They passed away when I was a kid. I have seen them died from the hands of notorious killer who still free right now. Until now, I wasn't able to move on, I saw him with my two eyes. That killer has freedom to enjoy his life while others who don't deserve to get in jail experiencing hardships in their prison cell, knowing that they were innocent," he told them.
"He killed all the members of the family, Galiego Family Massacre, it was the headline of some newspapers, televisions, and radios the year it happened. I was the only member of the family who left. When the killer knew that I survived, he tried to kill me too. Until now, I'm receiving death threats. (email, messages, phone calls, and letters) from the moment he discovered that I survived. I'm still wondering why he wants to kill me. Now, I'm still receiving death threats but I think not just him sending me those, others might be from the opponents of my clients before," he continued.
"Your life is so miserable attorney. How did you cope up from there? You're still alive even if you received lots of death threats in your whole life. So creepy!" Vhiann reacted.
"I lived alone; I did different jobs. I'm studying at morning and working in the evening. Until I graduated from my course and took the bar exam. Atty. Nicdao, my best friend is the only person whom I considered my brother, my family. When we both passed the bar exam and called attorney. Mr. Jones, the son of my dad's best friend, he is the son of my Godfather. He came into our lives and became our best friend too. Finally, I had second brother and treated him like my own brother," he said with joy.
"Atty. Nicdao, Mr. Jones and I, are best friends since then. One time, Mr. Jones invited us in a tattoo shop and said, "As a sign of our strong friendships, let's put a tattoo on our pulse." We went to the tattoo shop and followed Mr. Jones, the tattoo maker asked what sign we want to be painted in our pulse, Atty. Nicdao suggested an infinity sign. So, we agreed. I told them to put it on my left hand because I'm left-handed, they wanted to make it uniform so, they asked the tattoo maker to make the tattoo on their left hand too," he said reminiscing those days, he smiled. "I missed them"
