Chapter 31 A TATTOO

What they had discovered from the parents of the victim made them think about the mystery killer. If the victim (Mrs. Jones) doesn't have nephews nor nieces in the country who's that kid she introduced as her nephew? Just a stranger or secretly related to her that even her family didn't know about it?
They went to Atty. Galiego's house and they rest for a while from having a very long day. They were all tired when they got there. Tired but all of them can't sleep. Their bodies want to rest but their minds keep on thinking about the case.
The hearing day is getting nearer and nearer as days passed by. It's night, time to sleep but they just laid down and closed their eyes. Twelve (12) midnight when all of them finally slept.
Adam wakes up early, he looked at the evidences first, he didn't even brush his teeth instead he wears gloves and sat down on the chair. When Hannah saw him, she wakes up and she did the same thing. She sat down beside Adam and stared at him. They smiled at each other and realized, they were tandem all the time, in every door they entered and, in every situation, happened...they were always together.
Adam wrote something on a piece of paper.
(Check) Money bills and coins
(Check) Smartphone
(Check) Knife
(Cross out) Pictures with other man
(Cross out) Red tooth brush
As of now, these are the list of evidences they got from the house. Adam checked those evidences they knew how it was related to the crime. But he crossed out those evidences that are still questionable to him.
"Adam, I find that pictures and red toothbrush weird," said Hannah while tapping her thigh using her fingers many times, her mannerism strikes again. "I think this might be the solution to our confusions about the real killer," she added.
"I find it weird too babe, I have questions on my mind like, "Are those pictures related to the crime or not?", "The red toothbrush, who is the owner of it?"
"Honestly, I am not sure about those pictures, Mrs. Jones together with the man, we didn't see his face, it can be other man or Mr. Jones, her husband. But I felt something wrong with it, If that man in the picture is Mr. Jones, why it is marked with a black pen." He holds his head with his two hands, a sign that he was very confused. He wanted to know if what he thinks about that man in the picture is correct.
"You know what Adam, I have a gut feel that, the man in the picture is not Mr. Jones. They both looked decent men," she looked at the picture and stared at it. She noticed something and asks Adam to look at it, she pointed her finger near the man's palm, there's something on his pulse.
"Is that a tattoo or just a dirt from the printing process?" Adam asked.
"See. I think it is... But in this picture, I'm holding, it is not clear," she showed it to Adam.
"Adam, looked at all of the pictures he's holding. He saw a picture with a clear vision, it looks like an infinity sign, he shared the picture he found. The other pictures flew because of the air coming from the ceiling fan. They tried to tap at the pictures to stop it spreading but Adam's chair got his body out of balance which caused them get closer to each other, their eyes meet and their faces closest just one centimeter. So, closed, right?
Vhiann wakes up followed by Atty. Galiego who is stepping downstairs from his room, they saw the two, "Hey love birds, what's going on?" smiling at the two.
"Are you dating? Vhiann teased them, then followed by "Adam, did you confess your feelings to my best friend?"
Because of shock, they pushed each other away and fixed themselves.
"Shhhhhh… Are you my best friend or a basher of my love life?" asked Hannah while looking at her best friend like she's mad and telling her to stop teasing them not words but with her hand gestures and facial expression. But her best friend sees the smile on her best friend's face. Vhiann just smiled and remained silent while walking towards them.
While Atty. Galiego asked them, "What are you doing guys? Do you find something on that picture you are holding? I mean, do you find something weird about those pictures?" he asked again.
"We have noticed something here in this picture, this is the only clear picture among this. What do you think of this?" he pointed out the pulse of the man in the picture.
"A tattoo? An infinity tattoo, right?" asked Atty. Galiego.
"May I have it? Can i see?" Vhiann asked. Atty. Galiego gave the picture to Vhiann. "Here!"
Vhiann got the picture and commented, "You're right. This is not just a dirt from printing, while touching the part with a tattoo. Confirmed, an infinity tattoo! This might help us find the real killer."
They looked at each other and whispered, "We have to go back in jail and ask Mr. Jones"
"Yes! We really have to go back there," said Adam. "I need to know if Mr. Jones have infinity tattoo near his palm, in his pulse."
Atty. Galiego fixed his messy hair and Hannah saw something near his palm, in his pulse.
"Atty. Galiego? What is that? Is that a tattoo?" Hannah asked.
The attorney feels irritated and looks so frustrated that moment. He collapsed and fell down on the floor.
Adam heard Hannah asked the lawyer about what he saw in his pulse. The three started to get worried about the lawyer's actions that moment. They checked out his pulse and they saw an infinity tattoo on it and they carry the lawyer and put him to his bedroom.
They are not talking to each other but they knew they have the same thinking about the tattoo of the lawyer, it looks the same tattoo of the man in the picture. Is Atty. Galiego, the man in the picture?
