Honestly.
"Yes or else we will not leave this house" he said holding my coat for me and I chuckled moving forward towards the exit.
"Are you ready?" He asked looking at me who did not answer but instead took in a big breath and breathed out due to the mixed emotions I was having.
I was angry.
Angry because I was seeing the face of the woman who threw my child away and broke my man's heart.
Nervous because what if there was some twisted game she would be playing on us.
Regret because why the hell did I come in here again plus why did I not tell my mother just for extra protection.
I was also feeling joyous because I was going to intimidate the hell out of her.
An accusing look settled on my face.
"For a fact I am ready" I said looking at the man sitting next to me.
Today he let me drive because I had insisted on doing so plus he did not look like he was in the mood to drive so I took the pleasure of doing so.
"Plus I am a moral supporter remember?" I asked smiling at him.
Oh how evil was I feeling.
"Okay then lets go" he said opening his door and I waited for him to go around and open mine.
The restaurant looked fascinating.
Fancy.
Too fancy.
It was the kind of place they served you with napkins that had logos and used silver utensils instead of just normal spoons and forks.
I took the bare leg out first then with the help of his hand I fully came out holding my coat in my hand.
The chilly wind immediately hit me despite the fact that this dress was long sleeved even though it was an off shoulder.
Slipping on my trench coat I kept my hand in his and we started walking in the restaurant.
My nerves jumped up after the doorman opened for us the door.
"Table under Josiah Ivanov" Josiah said to the waitress who gave me a suspicious look and I right there rolled my eyes.
What bitch.
I look like a hooker alright none of your damn business.
"Hurry" I said under my breath and I felt his hold on my hand tighten as he tried to calm me down.
"There is someone who is already waiting for you at the table" the brunette said then looked at me again.
I almost snarled at her.
"I know can you please direct us at the table me and my wife are getting tired of standing" he said looking at her whose eyes immediately searched for my fingers.
I really debated whether I should show her the middle finger or not.
I settled on the later.
There was really no need for getting all worked up now.
"Ofcourse sir right this way" she timidly said then turned to lead us wherever the fuck the table was.
My mood was ticking on a very unstable clock.
"I will rip her spine out" I whispered to Josiah loud enough and he chuckled. I was sure the woman heard my whispering because he walking style changed as she stiffened.
I silently laughed looking at her back.
"Your table sir" she said then quickly hurried away making me chuckle.
"It is really not polite to keep a lady waiting" I heard a soft voice say behind me making swiftly run to look at her.
My grip on Josiah's hand tightened and I felt him squeeze my hand in assurance.
For a moment I thought he was going to leave my hand so that he would greet her but what surprised me was the answer that Josiah gave back.
"I had a better lady to entertain. Shall we begin or?" He asked looking at her and she kept quiet after hearing his answer.
Nodding her head he pulled out my chair and I gave him a small smile before he left to sit in his own chair which was next to mine.
I sat facing the devil herself and when I looked at her green eyes were already settled on me.
Studying me.
Watching me and in that moment I felt powerful because deep down I could feel her cries of loss.
She had lost and she knew that from the moment she saw Josiah and me holding Josiah's hand in the restaurant that she asked him to join her alone.
Alone.
From the moment that the waiter came to ask us for our drinks I zoned out.
Seriously the woman sounded boring I even wondered how the fuck he tolerated her for that long but hey we weren't outhere to judge.
"I am right" I heard the woman across me say rather loudly making my attention shift from my thoughts to her directly.
Narrowing my eyes at her tone towards the man who was sitting next to me I felt his hand grip my thigh making me suck the air between my teeth.
He was silently telling me to calm down.
I was calm.
Damn right I was calm but my calmness was balancing on a thin line.
"Right about what exactly Noelle?" I asked making sure to change my tone when I was pronouncing her name.
Putting it on that table that I did not like her.
Not even one bit.
"Stay out of this Hotch" she snarled at me making me roll my eyes.
Right.
As if I was going to.
"No go ahead and tell me. He wouldn't have insisted for me to come along if he wanted anything to stay between you two.
So do talk" I said looking at her eyes I could see the fire in her eyes turn into flames.
She was damn right angry and goodness was I enjoying it.
"I was saying that we should atleast get on good terms because after all we can not keep pretending that we do not share a child" she said looking at me then directly into my boyfriend's eyes.
