"So tell me are you really leaving? I thought you said it because you were mad" he said then placed a piece of chopped plantain in his mouth.
When I heard the question I rose my head from where i was eating and looked at him.
The spicy rice and meat still smelled aromatic which made it hard for me to fully give him my attention so I just nodded with an 'mhm' then went back to digging in.

I mean I still had my rice and everything on my plate but he had no right to finish the plantain like that.

I did not answer him instead I watched him as he walked to the sink placing the empty plates there then walked away from me to go back in his room.
Sighing I went back to eating my food.

When I finished my food I cleared the table and went to wash the dishes that were in the sink. They werent many actually they were two of them since most of the food we bought we ate it right from what they packed it from.
