Remembering how I was still on medication and how I was not supposed to technically be drinking or adding alcohol to my system the only thing I could think of was.
Fuck this.
I needed this.
"Cheers" we said together our small shot glasses clicking together then took a shot at the same time.
The liquid burned and tormented my throat for a minute making me breath out loudly but what could I do without this anywyas.
Well for starters alot.
Choosing to ignore that part of my brain that was being too smart with me we took three more shots before deciding that we needed to cool of and actually eat something.
That was when I remembered that there were two pizza boxes that were still unattended to and he helped me stand up my movements a little slower than usual alerting me how tipsy I was.
With careful steps we walked to his microwave as he held the pizzas and when I tripped on nothing almost making me lose my balance I giggled to myself then composed myself when he looked at me with an amused look.
Two more shots in his kitchen I knew that I was drunk.
It was official and I did not eat something so that the effect the alcohol is having on me reduces then sit down I knew that I was going to miss my footing and steps then fall on the floor.
I leaned on the counter as the man finished with food and distributing the pizzas on two plates.
He handed me mine and when he saw how I lost balance when I was not leaning on the counter top he immediately caught me and I looked at him in the eyes and gave him a grin.
Yeah I was happy.
"Come on. Lets go sit" he said then took me back to sit.
The previous location we were at before we decided to migrate in the kitchen.
He then switched on the TV and went to YouTube so that we could litsen to music while we eat then watch something later.
He left me in his living room then retreated back to his kitchen to bring the two places and my eyes bulged out when he came back with the almost empty bottle of Bacardi.
He wanted us to keep drinking.
Everything was blurred and slowed but I did not hesitated to attack the slices of pizza on my plate making him laugh.
"Easy there" he said looking at me as music blasted into his fancy looking speakers.
Why did I not notice them before.
"Speak for yourself" I said my mouth full of food and at the moment I did not care how unlady like that was of me and it seemed like he did not care too because he smiled then went to eating the food that was infront of him.
After the food I could feel a little bit of the alcohol seeping out of me and I was glad.
It was not dark yet meaning that I still had a few hours to get sober then drive because I was definetly not going to let him drive me back.
Josiah needed the rover just incase he would randomly decide to take himself to work tomorrow and I was not going to make him come and get it here.
After convincing Ajax that I was not going to be drinking after eating he nodded in understanding then said that in order for the alcohol to completely leave my system we should watch a movie while a sip on a bottle of water.
Talk about witchcraft because exactly two hours later I felt fine.
Completely fine and when I looked at the time it was going to almost eight pm and I knew that it was time for me to leave.
"Ajax this was honestly fun but I have to go now" I said looking at him who was on his phone.
"Plus you need to eat your dinner" I quickly added when he looked at me his eyes meeting mine.
"Well I am glad you had fun. Are you sure you can drive?" He asked looking at me and I quickly nodded.
I was sure.
"Yes come on give me a hug so that I can leave" I said pulling him in a hug taking him by surprise because he did not expect me to pull him that fast and he huffed annoyed in my hold and I couldnt contain my laughter.
"You still need to take it easy on those ribs" he said as he watched me put on my trench coat and I rolled my eyes.
"Says the person who knew I was on medication but still gave me alcohol" I said nicely fitting the trench coat over my olive green long sleeved shirt and black jeans.
He chuckled in response then rose his hands.
His house was really warm and the bachelor touch it had did not go unnoticed.
Anyone could make out that it was a man who was living here.
When I was done he rose and walked me to my car which was not parked far from his front door and I waved a goodbye as I pulled out of his compound and he stayed there until I was completely out of sight.
Or I think.
According to the gps I knew that I was going to atleast take twenty minutes to reach to Lucas' place.
Some soul music would do in the mean time.
"Where the hell have you been?" I heard the voice I was not expecting at all.
I did not even think that he would talk to me again until tomorrow but there he was in a dark room his sitting figure illuminated by the light the moon was giving out.
That was the moment I remembered that I still had a little bit of alcohol left in me and I was about to go ballistic on him.
