"What is she doing here? She's supposed to leave Nate's house because she's not welcome here anymore!" Eille said in her mind knowing that Nate would dislike Beatrice because she betrayed him.
"Eille, I'm glad you're safe," Beatrice said, suddenly, Eille remembered how Beatrice stood between Darwin and during the day she's been kidnapped by Darwin. She will never forget that, and for her, Beatrice is nothing but an enemy alone. She's not considering her to be her friend.
"What are you doing here?" Eille asked Beatrice, so Beatrice's forehead frowned.
"This is my husband's house," Beatrice said, which made Eille laugh.
"Your husband? Nate is not your husband anymore." Eille confidently said, which made Beatrice frown.
"What do you mean?" Beatrice asked. Eille's brows raised, and she laughed again.
"Come on, Beatrice, stop playing dumb. You know what I mean," Eille said with a smirk. Beatrice seemed to know what she's meant and referring to,
"Is she expecting Nate to terminate our mateship because of what I did?" Beatrice asked herself while looking at Eille. Beatrice suddenly laughs because the ideas sink into her mind.
"What are you laughing for?" Eille asked, annoyed.
"Are you expecting Nate to terminate our mateship because of what I did?" Beatrice asked, so Eille was annoyed more because of how she asked her.
"Yes, because Nate doesn't tolerate someone who betrays him," Eille said. Beatrice laughed even more because of what Eille told her.
"Really? Then why are you pushing yourself to him if you betray him in the first place." Beatrice asked, which made Eille stop. "Does she know about it already?" Eille asked herself while looking at Beatrice.
"What do you mean?" Eille asked. This time the table turned as Beatrice started to manipulate their conversation. Eille doesn't have any idea that Beatrice began to turn the table, what she thinks is that Beatrice knows the reason why the clan war started. And the fear in her body starts to crawl while looking at Beatrice.
"Oh, come on, Eille, I know you know what I am talking about," Beatrice said, crossing her arms. Eille became uneasy as Beatrice became severe. She doesn't know why she's afraid of her right now, She shouldn't be scared of Beatrice because she knows that she's innocent, but the way how Beatrice stands and look at her right now makes her feel that she's a criminal who needs to be punished.
"I. I don't know what you are talking about." Eille said and averted her gaze.
"Okay." Beatrice said playfully, so Eille looked at her again, "So, why are you here again?" Beatrice asked, "Are you looking for my husband?" She added, and a smirk formed on her lips as she saw how it irritated Eille.
"Stop calling him your 'Husband,'" Eille said, so Beatrice laughed again.
"Then what should I call him, Brother? Uncle? Or Daddy?" Beatrice asked, which made Eille more irritable as she knew that Beatrice was playing with her.
"You really had no different with Darwin," Eille said, which made Beatrice pause for a second and laugh.
"I know," Beatrice said and smirked at her. "And I'm aware of that." She added Eille's hand was about to grab her hair when Beatrice stepped aside and grabbed Eille's hand.
"Are you gonna hurt me now?" Beatrice asked her, "Come on, Eille, don't be so violent. If Nate knew about this, he would be mad at you because you hurt his lovely Dovey wife." Beatrice said and laughed as Eille pulled back her hand from Beatrice.
"Where's Nate?" Eille asked.
"In OUR room," Beatrice answered, so Eille looked at her badly.
"Stop playing with me."
"Do I look like playing with you? I'm just saying facts." Beatrice said. "In fact, he was sleeping because he was tired because of how I played his pet," Beatrice added, which Eille stunned as she knew what Beatrice was saying.
"You fucking bitch! What did you do to Nate?!" Eille yield.
"I told you I play with his pet," Beatrice answered with her playful smirk.
"What pet?" Eille asked, so Beatrice just smiled at her.
"You're just making me dumb here, so stop playing, Beatrice," Eille growled.
"I am not playing with you, Eille. Would you like me to narrate everything we did inside OUR room?" Beatrice ask. Eille just looked at her, full of anger. She was really annoyed because of how Beatrice played with her.
"Where is Nate?" Eille asked with a cold voice, Beatrice just looked at her with a playful smile.
"Why are you looking at me?" A manly voice came from behind Beatrice, Eille looked at the back of Beatrice, and there she saw Nate standing with his arms crossed.
"Nate.." Eille called his name as he walked closer with them.
Nate looked at Eille coldly, while Beatrice just smirked at Eille.
"What are you doing here?" Nate asked Eille, so Eille smiled at him and was about to hug him when Nate grabbed Beatrice's waist closer to him, which made Eille stop.
"What is this, Nate?" Eille asked as she looked at Nate, there was a pain in her eyes as she saw how Nate grabbed Beatrice's waist.
What she was expecting to see is very different from what is the reality happening right now, she was expected to see Nate alone and begs her to come back because Beatrice betrayed him, but now what she sees is Beatrice and him are still together.
"What do you mean?" Nate asks while frowning.
"Why is she still here? Nate, she is supposed to get out of your mansion because she betrayed you." Eille said, so Nate looked at Beatrice.
"And?" Nate asked and looked back to Eille.
"Gosh, Nate, are you tolerating a person to betray you?" Eille asked, she was very annoyed at how Nate treated Beatrice, this was unacceptable to her because she was expecting something.
"I don't tolerate people who betray me. That's why I never get back to you." Nate said, which made Eille stop.
"Nate, she betrays you, uses a different identity to marry you, and even wants to kill you! Why are you pointing out my simple mistake from the past, Nate? If you're going to compare what I did to what she did, she's more—"
"Stop it, Eille," Nate said coldly, "I know you knew what I meant when I said that." Nate said and looked at Beatrice, "Come on now, we don't need to talk to her." Nate said to Beatrice and turned their back to Eille, who was left alone outside the gate, stunned as she processed what Nate told her.
