The crowd fall silent as they watch in anxiousness and interest. They were anxious that their hero would lose to the newbie who just entered the competition.

However, they couldn't stop themselves from looking at the Buggati's car, which was driven very smoothly and skillfully. It could even chase after the Hennesey.

Their favourite racer.

Vale wanted to step up more when the Hennesey suddenly bumped into the side of her car wit, causing it to almost crashed at the metal gate blocking the arena's middle field.

Vale immediately steered the car back into line, almost losing control of the car after being bumped viciously by the Hennesey.

Vale was raging. Her face turns dark as she glowers at the speeding car in front of her.

After successfully taking back the control of the car, she accelerated the speed of her car to its fullest and rushed towards the Hennessey's car that was a few meters in front of them.

She gritted her teeth and clenched her hand tightly on the steering wheel before bumping her front car on the Hennesey's back without holding back.

The sound of the tires screeching was replaced with the sound of a loud crashing collision. Unsatisfied, Vale drove beside the Hennesey and forced it closer to the metal gate.

"Duck!" Vale suddenly shouted.

Cassie immediately ducked past the window shield. The glass on the passenger seat crashed as a bullet flew through.

Vale leaned her head back as far as she could and watch as the bullet flew past her face and went through the car's window beside her.

"Damn it!" Vale cursed as the car swayed.

Her eyes went dark before she changed the direction of her car. She waited until she was closed enough before turning the wheel all of a sudden, letting her front car to bump into the side of the Hennesey's car with full force.

The Hennesey couldn't withstand the force and drove through the metal gate and rolled over repeatedly to the middle arena before stopping in an upturned way.

Vale won the competition.

They stopped behind the finished line before she got out of the car. Upon seeing that it was a woman who drove the car, the crowds cheered and roared crazily on their seat.

Cassie followed Vale out of the car. As soon as her foot touched the ground, she staggered and almost collapsed onto the ground. Gritting her teeth, she gripped the passenger door and tried to calm herself down. Her face was as pale as a ghost, and she felt like puking her guts out.

"You alright there?"

Upon hearing Roy's voice, Cassie's body immediately turns into alert mode.

"I'm fine." She said before looking around for Vale.

Vale had walk a few meters away from them, and she was talking with a few interesting figures. Cassie was about to walk towards her when Roy stopped her.

"It's not convenient for you to go there now." he said.

"What?" Cassie frowned.

"It's her order." he said.

Cassie frowned even more. She was worried that her leader would be harmed.

"Is this your first time attending a race competition?" Roy asked as he looked at Cassie up and down.

"Why are you here?" Cassie immediately dodged his question.

She felt like Roy wanted to make fun of her.

"It's her order." Roy shrugged his shoulders indifferently.

Her order?

Cassie's eyebrows furrowed as she watched Roy in confusion. Why is he listening to her leader's order?

She watched Roy in curiosity. If he's listening to her order, then why did she felt like her leader and Roy are very close? Like Salvatore and James?

Did he know that her leader killed Landon and become the Venomous Gang Leader?

Otherwise, how are they related?

Cassie blinked. Anyway, she is just a subordinate. It's better not to feed her curiosity before she made a mistake.

"Who are those people?" Cassie couldn't help but ask.

"Criminals." Roy smart-mouthed. He felt like it was fun to rail up the woman in front of him.

What's more, he couldn't accept the fact that his magical hug was rejected. How long has it been since a woman rejected him?

Oh, yeah. Never.

He gazed at her and couldn't help but wanted to look at a mirror. Is there anything on his face? Or could it be that his face is not as handsome as it used to be?

Anyway, Cassie didn't even spare him a look.

"Jerks." Cassie rolled her eyes.

"Scaredy-cat."

"Tattoo skin."

Roy scoffed, "Tattoo skin? Really? Bones!"

Cassie glared at him, "Ugly muscles."

"Hey! Don't insult my baby!" Roy kissed his biceps twice.

"Disgusting." Cassie made a face.

"You're just jealous."

Cassie scoffed, "Jealous? Who? Me?" she raised her small arms to show off her cute muscles, "I have muscles too."

Seeing her actions, Roy couldn't help but laugh.

"Why are you laughing?"

Roy lifted his face to answer her but only end up laughing harder when he saw her confused look.

"Roy!" Cassie stomped her heeled feet on the ground in dissatisfaction.

"You're so cute." Roy said as he raised his hands and pinched both of her cheeks. Hard.

"Roy!" Cassie shouted in pain as she pushed his hands away.

She rubbed her pained cheeks with an aggrieved expression.

When she didn't hear his laugh anymore, she turns to look at him and caught a strange glint in his eyes. Cassie's eyes turn dark.

"Cassie..."

"Don't!" she stopped him from continuing further.

Roy frowned in dejection. Why is she so guarded against him? He's not that evil.

Roy stared at her as if he just found something that is worth his interest. A treasure. Perhaps.

His eyes glimmer as he looked at her shamelessly.

Cassie rubbed her arms unconsciously as she avoided his look. His eyes were hinting thousands of meaning enough to make Cassie shivered.
