Chapter 178: Another People On The List

She glanced at her kid that had fallen on the marble floor and smiled at her when their eyes caught each other, her whimper ceased when she saw that and just closed her eyes, but it is obvious that she was still awake.
Arielle suddenly stopped, she was like five feet away from her.
'You betrayed me, Jess and I didn't like it," she said with creased brows, as if she was really pained by the betrayal. 'You know what? I was in a pretty bad mood when I came back, I went to finish off my uncle at the prison, you know how much doing that upsets me." She continued with sad eyes and Jessica almost scoffed.
Only an idiot would believe that, it was obviously clear that she found ecstasy in killing, Jessica wouldn't be surprised if she cum because of the joy that action gives her.
She looked at her clothes and saw that it was really stained with dried blood. That wicked uncle must have died the most brutal death, probably by hockey stick.
Arielle used to say that if she would kill her uncle, she would also use the method he used with her father.
'I haven't done anything bad to you, all I demand from you is to clear all the deals and take the cash, occasionally get one or two people here, is that so hard to do? Why on earth would you team up with Sapphire? You know that I hate her a lot," Arielle screamed at her.
'I am sorry! I am so sorry! Can I check my baby? Can I just check if she is okay?" Jessica said after Arielle finished her angry rant.
'Alright. It seems like we won't be able to have a clear conversation if you don't check that damn kid of yours," Arielle said and moved out of her way but Heather still didn't lose her grip on her. 'Go ahead."
Those were the only words she needed to hear before she pushed herself backwards and hit Heather's back on the door,she raised her leg and smashed the heel of her stiletto hard on Heather's right foot which made the woman grunt in pain and loosen her grip but Jessica didn't gave her time to recover before she hit the back of her head on Heather's jaw, grabbed both her hands with hers and flipped her over her shoulder and slammed her hard on the floor, Arielle just stood there staring at them with an amused look.
'Seems like there is nothing as powerful as a mom's desperation, the only time I have ever saw it was with Venita's mom, she was so desperate to get both of us out and despite the fact that her husband was already dead beside her and the car had tumbled over, she was also bleeding profusely, I am sure that she felt dizzy too but despite all of these, she managed to get me out and told me that I should take care of Venita, sweetest woman I have ever known but uncle Felix just had to go ahead and tumble them over because Venita's dad had a big secret of his." Arielle continued her rant and Jessica was already beside Amy and had been silently untying the ropes that Arielle used to bind her to the chair.
'Amy," she said gently, still untying the ropes.
'Mom… it hurts a lot," Amy said in pain, tears leaked from her eyes like waterfall.
'I am sorry baby, you will be at the hospital soon," she said to assure her.
'Don't worry Heather, you are not losing your touch, it is just that she had more reason to fight than you do," Arielle told Heather who was trying to get on her feet, she glared at Jessica hatefully but Jessica didn't spared her a glance, her attention solely on Amy. 'Now, now, bonding time with your baby is over, why don't we talk like adults, without the tears and hatred - aish, I would forever love Luci for that statement, how didn't I come up with that gimmick myself?- now let us get to the major part of the conversation, why the fuck did you went to meet Sapphire?" She asked seriously, the smile she had earlier had been wiped off.
'I heard what you guys said the other day," Jessica said simply but Arielle raised a brow at her in confusion.
'You might want to clarify which exact day you are talking about and we said in particular, I don't know which other day you have in mind but I am sure that we must have said a lot of words that day too," Arielle said.
'I heard what you would do to me when you are done with the mission," Jessica replied and Arielle's mouth formed an ‘O' shape.
'Busted!" Heather said. 'You happened to hear that."
'Ugh. There goes my chance to make millions through your baby," Arielle said with a sad face but it switched to an irritated face in seconds, she moved closer to them and stopped at the only window that was in the room, she stared out and clicked her tongue.
Jessica knew she was right but Arielle's words solidified her thoughts,she planned to sell off her daughter.
'Since she is useless why don't she just fuck off?" Arielle said, still staring out through the window and before Jessica could comprehend her words, she turned her head to them and shot Amy in the stomach, her daughter went limp in her hands immediately and Jessica's eyes widened in horror.
'No… no… no! Not my kid! Amy wake up, Amy open your eyes, Amy don't leave mom here, AMY!" She screamed with tears in her eyes, shaking the girl but she just turned limply in her hands, not responding to her call nor did she open her eyes.
'You joined hands with Sapphire because of her right? Then she should be the first to go. If I can't have her then Sapphire can't too," she said calmly and those words made Jessica saw red, she rushed towards Arielle but before she could get to her, she was shot in the shoulder, that made her paused in her movement but she recovered quickly and continued her rush which made Arielle shot her in her other should and leg, that finally made her fall to the ground.
'How funny it is that you think that you can do anything to me," Arielle said, Jessica turned back to look at her daughter that was in the pool of her own blood and lifeless and she felt angry tears in her eyes.
'You are a monster, both of you are monsters!" She screamed at them, both Heather and Arielle looked at themselves and shrugged.
They heard a loud bang downstairs and they became alert.
'Seems like your rescue team is here," Arielle said and Heather opened the door and went downstairs, they could hear the sounds of guns being shot and shortly after Luci, Zayn and Sapphire were at the door.
'You took so long, I almost got a cramp waiting for you, dear cousin." Arielle said but Sapphire was staring at Amy who was in the middle of the room.
'You are right. I was too late," Sapphire said.
'You outnumbered me and you are here to kill me, that's good too. Just let me do this." She said and aim at Jessica and shot her in the head, the woman died instantly and Zayn quickly shot her in the stomach but before they could get to her, she had already jumped out of the window and landed on the floor, Zayn stared at her as she rushed away while Sapphire went to Jessica and Luci went to Amy, they stared at each other and shook their heads.
Both mother and daughter were dead.
Zayn stared at her as she ran to her car that was parked near the window side and knew that she must have planned this all before she called Jessica here, Heather also ran to her car but Arielle rushed to let her enter the car, she just sped away, and abandoned her confidant of many years, Heather yelled curses at her and ran another way, some of his men were hot on her trail.
'I would go with the guys," Zayn said and both Sapphire and Heather stood up.
'We would come with you?" Sapphire said and Heather nodded.
'What about them?" Alexander said from the door, he stared at both mother and daughter on the floor emotionlessly.
'They are both other people who we won't hold a funeral for until we get Arielle. Some men would come and take their corpses later." Luci said.
'Why did you let Heather go?" Sapphire asked.
'Making her die in the comfort of their cottage does not sit well with me, they can run but not for long," Alexander said and walked away, they all followed him downstairs and got into the car that they parked in front of the cottage and behind Jessica's car.
They drove for a while before they saw Heather running towards the road so they sped up and double crossed her, she stopped in time before she could run into the car, she quickly turned to run away when she saw that it was the car that Sapphire brought to the cottage, she ran but not for long because the men that ran after her soon caught up with her.
She groaned and cursed at Arielle for letting them capture her like this.
'I am sure that you know now that there's no place for you to run to," Luci said but Heather only scoffed.
'As if I would let you capture me! As if to let you guys take me away! I would escape and there would be nothing you can do about it!" She screamed and tried to shoot only to discover that there's no more bullets in her gun.
'Shit!" She cursed loudly and Sapphire scoffed at her.
'We are done here, Heather. Kindly enter the car and let's get out of this place," Sapphire said and Heather rolled her eyes.
'I told you guys that I won't die by your hands, did you seriously think that I was joking?" Heather asked.
'None of you have a gun with you, your best bet is to capture me with your hands."
'You are wrong sweetie. Here is a gun, just for you. One bullet in your heart and you would be in hell," Zayn said. 'Capture her guys." He ordered and the men nodded.
Then something bizarre happened so fast.
Before the men could take a step, Heather jumped sideways and ran to the road, jumped right in the of the road, straight into a truck that was on speed. There was a probability that she didn't see the truck because her eyes widened in horror minutes before the truck hit her and she was in the air for a few seconds before she fell on the floor, hitting her head on the heavy floor. Her whole body was covered in blood minutes after she landed on the floor but the driver who hit her didn't stop, working instead he sped past.
Her lifeless stared at them from where she laid.
'Shit just got real." Zayn said.
'Idiot killed herself," Alexander muttered and went to sit in the car.
