Chapter 70: Jealous

The ride was tense when they made their way back home because Alexander refused to talk, he wouldn't answer Sapphire when she tried to start a conversation. All she wanted to ask him was his thoughts about the videos posted but she kept her eyes glued to the road.
Andrew and Andrea were both sitting at the back and Alexander had told Nate to go and find another way to get back home while Sean rode his own car, there is a probability that Nate came back in Sean's car but she couldn't be sure because she had to get in the car or Alexander would leave her behind.
'If you knew that I am a rich guy, you won't bother to talk to me," Sean replied and Sapphire smiled which made Alexander glared at the guy.
'Have you ever asked her out?" Alexander asked, getting straight to the point and Sean and Sapphire stared at each other.
'Well…" he trailed off and Alexander raised a brow at him. 'I did ask her out, once…" Sean said, raising one of his fingers and Alexander frowned. 'Twice…Thrice," he continued and the frown on his face intensified. 'Actually, I asked her out many times that and everytime I did, she rejected me,"
'I told you that we are only friends, there is nothing more," Sapphire said and Alexander nodded,but it is clear that he didn't believe them, Sapphire tried to stand to get them something but Alexander quickly stopped her, wrapping his hand around her waist possessively while still glaring at Sean.
'I am sure that if I ask her out now she would reject me again,"
'I would really appreciate it if you don't, this is my wife and we have our kids, we are not going to divorce because of you," Alexander said, maintaining eye contact with the man and Sapphire stared at them in amusement.
'Of course not, I won't, especially after I met you, I won't dare to do that. She is your wife, I dare not covet after her," Sean said and Sapphire chuckled.
Sean looks like a humble servant receiving orders while Alexander looks like a sophisticated demon giving orders.
'With that said, I would get out of your hair, I have an appointment with a client in…" Sean said and stared at the wristwatch. 'Now, I am already running late so I won't be able to wait for dinner, see you," he continued and ran out of the place like he was on fire.
Sapphire turned to stare at Alexander who was staring at the retreating figure of the man.
'What dinner?" Alexander muttered to himself. 'If you ever try to see her again, I would kill you,"
'You are quite possessive for someone who is a friend," Sapphire teased and he turned to stare at her with an innocent face, like he wasn't the one who just scared a chaebol heir out of his house.
'I never wanted to be your friend, I would love it if we are much more but I would take whatever you give me anyways, because it is coming from you," Alexander said and Sapphire averted her eyes from those intense ones that stared straight into her soul.
'What happened? You never cared if Oliver tried to talk to me and that was my ex"* Sapphire told him and Alexander turned to face him.
'Oliver is an ex that you hate, no matter the advance he makes, you would refute it while Sean," he said bitterly. 'Is a good friend of your who had been with you longer that I have been, he also had feelings for you and wasn't shy to confess to you those years ago, it is easier to fall for those kinds of men and I don't like the way he stares at you, you shouldn't too,"
'Wait, so you have been acting like this since you saw him because you are jealous?" Sapphire asked and Alexander stared at her, he moved closer to her and nodded, Sapphire moved her head back a bit, but he had his hand on both sides, caging her to spot.
The atmosphere changed from teasing to intense and Sapphire couldn't help the smile that formed on her lips when she looked into his eyes.
It was the kind of eyes that a person stares at their lovers with, sometimes she wonders if she was living in a fairytale, despite the way she friend zoned him the other day.
He still acts like he is a fucking prince charming.
'Yes, I am jealous, I am jealous of all these guys that you have fully trusted, I am jealous of the fact that you feel more comfortable around them, you are the only one who can make me loose it like this, seeing you laugh with another man makes me fly off the fucking handle,"
'You don't have to be jealous, Alexander," she whispered. 'You are the one I feel most comfortable with, you know how to get the relief I truly need to me, my kids loves you a lot and your are the first person that got into our circle that fast," Sapphire said and placed her hands on top of his, both of their hands were beside them. 'And it would still be cool if you went off the fucking handle, I still like you whichever way,"
Alexander stared at Sapphire in surprise and the latter quickly covered her mouth with her hand when she processed the words that just left her lips.
'Can you say that again or is it a mistake?" Alexander asked, this time moving more closer to her, Sapphire shook her head.
'Yeah, uhm…the.. the words flew out of my mouth even though I didn't meant to say it but I can't say that it is a mistake and nope, I am not saying that I like you again," Sapphire said and she used her hand to cover her mouth once again, Alexander chuckled.
'Can you say that again?"
'Do you love to hear it that much?" Sapphire said, laughing at the enthusiastic face the man was making
'Don't you like to say it?" Alexander asked and Sapphire shook her head at the man, a smile still on her lips.
'About the video…." Sapphire trailed off, the smile dropping from her face, she stared at him with all seriousness while he still had his teasing smile. 'You saw it right?"
'Yeah, it was hot," Alexander said and Sapphire stared at him in shock, it was obvious that he said the first thing on his mind.
'What?" She asked.
'What?" He replied.
'What are you talking about? I am asking you for your honest opinion,"
'Well, I am telling you the first thing that came to my mind when I saw it, what more could be honest?"
'You are not disgusted?"
'No, I am only angry that the person who posted this did it without your permission, do you want me to deal with them?"
'Isn't this going to affect you?"
'Whatever has to do with you affects me, but I don't mind it, that video is none of my business but this man from a show is inviting me to their show under the guise that they want to interview me about my business, they just want to ask about you though,"
'oh,"
'Just a question? Did you really go to that club and dance around the pole because you felt like it?" He asked and Sapphire stared at the couch before shaking her head.
'Oliver came to take me at Conrad Mansion after our messy breakup which I haven't accepted at that time by the way, and the next thing I knew, it had been three days and there was video of me on the net, I was a druggie, a stripper and stained the family name, it was highly likely that I was drugged," Sapphire said and raised her head to peek at Alexander, she flinched when she saw the murderous expression on his face.
'Alexander…"
'Would it be okay with you if I go to that interview?" Alexander asked and Sapphire stared at him in surprise.
'Why…"
'They are so fucking dead for messing with you in that way," Alexander growled and Sapphire stared at the man in shock, he cursed a lot today.
