Chapter 60: Warnings & Threats

Sapphire carried the files she needed to put in the storage and was happy to get out of the office, she needed to look for Mira and get her point across to her.
She opened the storage room and dropped the things she needed but she saw Rina in the storage room again.
'Why do we always meet here?" Sapphire asked.
'Why don't you always mind your business when you see me," Mira asked, coldly.
'I have something to discuss with you or rather something I would like to you about,"
'I don't want you to talk to me, leave me the hell alone," she said, searching through the place.
'Are you still looking for the files you lost the other time?" She asked and Mira rolled her eyes at the persistent woman.
'You know what? Maybe you should keep staying close to me, maybe I could actually get Oliver off my back, getting fired like the rest is a blessing compared to the hell I face here while working for that asshole," Mira told her sarcastically.
'What are you talking about?" Sapphire asked with furrowed brows.
'Thanks to the fact that they knew you, all the staff who used to work here when you oversaw the completion of this place were sacked within a year at different time for flimsy excuses,"
'Why would he do that?"
'You say that as if you don't know, he don't want any memory of you in this place, I don't know what you are up to here but you had better watch your back because Oliver is more cruel than you think,"
'Why didn't they sue him?"
'Do you think that everyone in this world is as rich as all the people you know are, you are from the circle so you probably don't know that there are bound to lose if they do that, it was a waste of money and Oliver would make them face hell, they can't do anything to the man," she said and walked out the room, avoiding body contact like she had some strange illness.
Sapphire made a mental note to find the file for the lady, that was the only way to get her to talk to her, if she also believes that Oliver is cruel then she must know a lot of things.
Sapphire closed the storage room when she was out and went back on her way to the office when she saw Venita, she would have avoided the idiot if she hadn't sighted her.
'What the hell are you wearing?" Venita gestured to her clothes and Sapphire rolled her eyes at her.
'I could say the same about you too, why don't you mind your business?" Sapphire said and Venita stared down at herself, there was nothing wrong with her clothes, it seemed like something was wrong with Sapphire's eyes.
'What are you doing here?"
'The same thing you are doing here,"
'Working here?" Venita said with a scoff, she couldn't believe that she would come to work in Oliver's company after all he did, even if she had an ulterior motive, she shouldn't stoop as low as working for him again.
'No, extorting money from him," she said and Venita glared at her.
'Don't go around saying nonsense, people might think you have a few screw loose,"
'Then they would be wrong because I have all the screw loose, which means that you should be careful,"
'You are sick,"
'No, I am pretending to be normal and so far I think I am doing well, why don't you go on your rainbow way ignoring my existence and I would do you the favor of behaving like I don't know that you are a drunkard," Sapphire said and Venita eyes widened, she quickly looked around to check if someone was near them.
'What on earth are you yapping," she seethed in a low voice and Sapphire moved closer to her.
'Seems like it is only you that I haven't told but I came back for you and the rest of you all in the game, we need to have a rematch of the game we played three years ago, should I get you on my side by dropping the first chunk, would a billion dollars suffice or should I call my husband to get nine more?" She asked and stood up straight, staring at Venita like she didn't just threaten her.
'Is that a threat?"
'Hardly, that was a warning,"
'You.."
'Mess up my plan Venita and you are a walking dead," she said seriously, walking away from the dumbfounded woman, she stopped when she was a few steps away from her.
'And this is a threat," She said and walked away, leaving Venita worried about how much she knew and what she wanted to do with her cards.
'How on earth did she know that I got a million dollars three years ago, I didn't involve myself physically, I was more of her friend," she said to herself as she turned back and went down the stairs, she had some things to do quickly.
She entered her car and zoomed off to the company where she signed under, Era Entertainment, she marched to her Manager's office and everyone who met her stayed out of her way in order to avoid her wrath.
She opened her Manager's office without bothering to knock but she groaned when she didn't meet her there.
She slammed the door behind her and walked back the direction she came from, she stopped at a door and slammed it open, her trainees were all there having a chat.
How on earth could they go on chatting when everything is as crazy as this, she even sent them an errand and they messed it up.
'What the hell is so interesting that you had to talk about?" She screamed and everyone immediately stood at guard. 'You are just a bunch of useless freaks, you think you have the right to waste my time and laugh about it?"
Everyone was silent, no one dared to make a noise or else they were dead.
'Addie," she called and a girl walked up to her, her hand shaking because of nervousness. Venita slapped her as soon as she was in front of her which made everyone gasp, but they kept their mouth shut when they saw her glare.
'I sent you something and you failed to get it right, you didn't even thought of informing me about the failure and you still lied that it is a success,"
'I.."
'Shut the fuck up bitch, now you are going to walk out of that door and never come in again, I would tell the manager that you are done," she said and Addie stared at her in shock.
'Do any of you idiots know where the fucking Manager go?"
'No," they chorused and she glared at them.
'Airheads!" She snapped and went out of the room angrily, slamming the door so hard that everyone in the room flinched.
