"Let the fight begin!" someone with a deep voice declared and Anastasia watched anxiously as her husband and grandfather began fighting each other in the middle of the hall with everyone watching over them with interest. She knew it was just a thing men do to each other for fun. Whether to prove whoever's stronger or whoever's weaker, she didn't know. Only this time.. she was afraid that if one loses, it might hurt his pride to the point that it might affect the bond between both packs. Their union had just began and she wasn't ready to risk it yet.

Nonetheless, both Alphas fought with equal strength in the middle, their forces met like magnets, drawn to each other. Impressively, they fought with bare hands, using only their strength and agility to get the best of each other. Alpha Fred laid a hard punch on Alpha Draco but Draco easily dodged it with his quick movements.

Alpha Fred grinned, looking a bit impressed. "You're too fast for me, kid," he said with a laugh. "I'm getting too old for this."

"You are," Alpha Draco replied back with an amused face. "If I were you, Alpha Fred, I'd give up already."

"We'll see about that," Alpha Fred growls, launching towards Draco and finally managing to place a lethal blow to his side.

The crowd gasped in shock as Alpha Draco nonchalantly wiped his bleeding lips, giving Alpha Fred an evil smirk. "I must say.. you're pretty strong for an old stinking guy."

The crowd gasped but Alpha Fred laughed with delight. "I'll take that as a compliment."

Both Alphas continued fighting ferociously and Anastasia watched as they both laid powerful punches on each other. Unexpectedly, Alpha Draco threw his opponent to the other side of the hall and Alpha Fred got stuck behind the curtains. When he came out, he was holding a baseball bat, swinging it in his hand.

Alpha Draco chuckled deeply, taking a knife from one of the guest's table. "Let's see what you got."

"Bring it on," Alpha Fred provoked as they both charged towards each other and the fast pace was getting harder to keep up on. The audience kept looking between them, getting anxious about who would win and who would not.

In the heat of the moment, they fought with equal strength until Alpha Draco finally managed to find his weakness. He dodged Alpha Fred's final blow, getting behind his back and holding him by the neck, a sharp knife pressed against his neck.

There was a moment of silence as everyone watched. Alpha Fred choked and finally forfeited, forcing Alpha Draco to finally let go of his neck. Alpha Draco bowed down in front of his opponent as a form of respect. The silence and serious face of Alpha Fred was making the whole crowd anxious. Would he accept the defeat peacefully?

Suddenly, Alpha Fred laughed and put a hand on his stomach to stop himself from laughing. He caught everyone off guard. The whole crowd was looking at him with confusion including Anastasia. But then Alpha Fred placed a hand on Alpha Draco's shoulder, his lips turning to a grin.

"Let's do this again some other time," he exclaimed. "I had fun."

Alpha Draco gave a proud grin. "Of course, Alpha Fred."

"Come, let's have a drink! My treat for losing!"

"Well then you'll be giving me free drinks for the rest of your life."

"What are friends for?"

Then they both laughed with the same melody, walking away from the crowd and straight towards the bar where there were a lot of drinks and beers. Watching them leave, Anastasia shook her head with amusement.

"Luna!"

Turning around, she saw Wendy rushing towards her with a smile. "Wendy, where have you been? I've been looking everywhere for you!"

Wendy chuckled, fixing her hair and dress. "Well, I.. Beta Edward and I.. just went outside for some.. fresh air.."

Anastasia raised an eyebrow. "Oh, really? Then why's your bra strap pulled out of your shirt?"

Wendy gasped looking down at her chest and indeed her bra strap was outside her shirt. She chuckled nervously. "Sorry for lying, Luna."

"No need to apologize," she chuckled. "I was just worried about you earlier.. but now I realize I was mistaken.."

Wendy frowned after a moment. "Worried I might get lost around here?"

"No, silly."

Then her eyes widened with realization. "If you're worried that I'm depressed or affected by what happened yesterday, don't be, Luna. I'm actually doing better than ever. I've finally made peace with my past and now I'm ready to discover a whole new future with Beta Edward.. This is everything I've ever dreamt of."

Wendy looked so dreamy while thinking about her future that Anastasia wished she could have the same joy she was feeling.

"I'm really glad you're happy, Wendy," Anastasia murmured with a smile.

"How about you? I'm ashamed to ask, Luna, but I'm also starting to think you don't feel alright knowing the truth about your mother. Even now, I can still see the pain in your eyes."

Anastasia sighed. "It happened a long time ago.. and how can I proceed with my future if I can't let go? I know my mother is out there somewhere.. watching over me and my father.."

When Wendy saw the tears from the corners of the Luna's eyes, her face saddened with worry. "Do you want to go somewhere silent and peaceful, Luna? This crowd is so loud, I don't think a cheerful party is what you need right now."

Anastasia sighed. "Alright, let's go."

Anastasia and Wendy headed towards the large double doors where they could have some private and silent space together. But on their way, a couple of girls accidentally bumped against the Luna, a pool of wine water spilling on her dress, tainting it with blood forever.

The people gathered around them gasped in shock and the girls snickered while looking at the Luna with disgust. "Oh look, it's the lost granddaughter no one was looking for," one girl whispered.

"Excuse me?"

"Oh, hello there, Luna. I didn't see you there."

Anastasia sighed, they weren't worth the trouble. She needed some peace of mind. Just as she was about to leave, she heard them mumble something.

"Ugh, why is she even here?"

"It's because her mother died and she didn't."

"So pathetic. Just like her mother."

Finally having enough, Anastasia glared towards the girls and began walking towards them. "If you have something to say about me and my mother, you better say it to my face," she growled, her wolf slowly taking over as her eyes dilated. Even then, the girls stepped back in fear and stayed silent.

Anastasia scoffed. "Well? Are you even going to apologize?"

"We-We're sorry, Luna.. I-It won't ha-happen again."

"It better not, because if it did.. I'll have you and your friends locked in a cell forever.."

Soft murmurs echoed around her but Anastasia ignored them.

"You ca-can't do th-that," the girl protested, "That's n-not a rule."

"Oh, really?" Anastasia raised an eyebrow. "Well then I'll make one, especially for self-entitled brats like you."

The girls looked at the Luna, dumbfounded and shocked that she said such words. Once they felt the disapproving stares they were receiving, they snickered at the Luna and walked out of the party with silence and scoffs.

Anastasia remained a serious face, watching as the girls left. Then she turned to Wendy with a smirk, as if she had just won a battle. "Let's go?"

Wendy grinned on their way outside the mansion. "For a moment, you were really scary back there, Luna. It's like you're a different person," she muttered, very much impressed.

Anastasia chuckled at her remark. "I didn't think I have it in me too. But back there, I felt my wolf surfacing and taking over. It was partly because of her. She gave me confidence. I could never fight back like that in a million years!"

"You should believe you can, Luna. Your wolf just urged you to do it.. but you're more than you think."

"You really think so?"

"Of cou—"

"Hello, girls."

Wendy and Anastasia glanced at front to see three guys gazing down at them with interest.

"What are you girls doing alone out here?"

Anastasia frowned. "None of your business."

"Wait, I know her!" one said with shock. "She's the Luna, the lost granddaughter of Alpha Fred!"

The taller stranger smirked with dark eyes. "Finally..."
