After a few hours that guy left, i was able to fall asleep soundly even after being tied to the bed. Recently i haven't been sleeping well so maybe that's why i instantly fell asleep when i felt how comfy this bed was. But when i opened my eyes, i noticed that the sun had already set, it was time for a human like me to eat dinner. damn, they're vampires so maybe they don't do dinner? i thought
My stomach grumbles, at the same time Herus comes in with a tray of food, making my mouth watery from starvation. I was so focused at the food that i didn't realized that he paused for almost 5 minutes infront of me, i looked up and met his eyes.
"You were staring at the food for 5 minutes straight?" He chuckles.
"It's called being human?" I rolled my eyes. "Now untie me so i can eat!"
"You demand a lot for a hostage."
"A hostage like me still needs to stay alive, who knows when you'll guys suck my blood." I said glaring at him, feeling a bit of fear at the thought of it.
He sets down the tray and unties me, i quickly bounced my way to the table and took the tray that he brought for me. I smelled it and believe me it was so good. "Damn didn't know that vampires could cook."
"Vampires? Are you sure? You do know i'm half." He smirks.
"Yeah, you're probably the only one like that here." I said without looking at him, munching my food and focusing on the taste that it was giving me, exquisite! "I mean being a hybrid doesn't appear that easily and for a matter of fact HYBRIDS are super rare and dangerous."
"And where did you learn that?"
I was starting to get irritated, he was asking one question after the other WHILE I'M EATING. "Um can you shut the fuck up for once? I'm eating!" I glared at him for a while before focusing to my food once again.
"Still sassy as ever." he sighs, while i paid no attention to him. "Aren't you a bit curious what we did to the family you were living with?"
i stopped what i was doing and looked at him. "Coz i know that if you really knew who i was, then you would never dare make me kill you. AND they are my family."
"you still believe that you're Athena?"
i glared at him, then i grabbed his collar. "Even if the whole world doesn't believe me, i'm Athena! i have 2 idiot brothers and my mother was killed by a vampire!"
He didn't even flinch or said something afterward he just stared back at my enraged state, thinking that i might say more about the nonsense that i tried to believe at that moment. It never occurred to me what would happen next the moment i confidently scolded him, my eyes landed on the door as i sensed a presence. i let go of Herus when i felt something strange, standing up slowly as i waited for the person who spun the doorknob.
"Then tell me.." Herus trails off, the girl finally revealing herself, my eyes widened in Horror. He stood up beside me and smirked at my expression. "Who is this?"
This .. No.. Something's not right. "N-No! i'm Ath-" i stopped, feeling the remorse that consumed me when i saw her face.
It was like i was staring into a mirror, the face and the body were so similar yet her red eyes and scars were so vividly present that it was the only thing that differentiated us. Her eyes looked at me with obvious emotions, she glared at me and hurriedly walked to me. "What the hell are you doing here!"
i was a bit taken back from the sudden change of expression she did, i took a step back as i sensed danger coming from her; her eyes blazing fire and her fangs were dying to sunk itself on my neck. Herus intervenes at the middle, holding my doppelgänger in place.
"i don't think i can answer that question." i said then glared at Herus who was very amused at the situation. "i don't even want to be here!"
"It's all because of you!!" she screams in despair, tears falling from her cheeks.

"He abandoned me because of you!!" She screamed, trying to push Herus out of the way so she can kill me. "he suddenly changed-"
My eyes widened when Herus hands made its way around her neck, slamming her on the wall behind her, she choked and held his hand to remove it but can't. "Did you really think he wanted you? what kind of illusions did you woke up with?" Herus nose flares in anger.
"s-stop! i can't breath!" she begged, her lungs running out of air, she fought to stay alive.
what the hell is happening, i thought.
"Stop! you're gonna kill her!" i intervened, i don't know why but i felt like i needed to. and thankfully Herus complies. he lets go of her suddenly After hearing what i just said, turning around he smirked at me.
"She tried to kill you yet you can be so kind?" he chuckles.
"i just don't like seeing myself being choked by a fucking retard." i replied. "And for your information, she didn't even touched me."
My eyes landed on the pitiful state she was in. The sole reason why i helped her was that she already looked beaten up and exhausted, some of her scars looked like it was there for a long time. i'm not sure where she got it from but the other scars looked fresh enough to me. Something was really fishy around here.
"She came here to kill you, thankfully i was here to be a hero huh?" He said.
"Do you really think i would get killed so easil-" i was about to finish my sentence if it wasn't for him looking at my collar and suddenly chuckling at my obvious lies. i clenched my mouth shut then looked away, i forgot about this damned vacuum collar.
"no thank you?"
"how bout a fuck you?" i rolled my eyes and raised my middle finger at him. "Now get out of my room."
He didn't said anything but listens, turning his back from me, i smirked a bit from my victory and thankfully he was finally leaving the room. But when he suddenly picked up my doppelgänger, i stopped him. "Where are you taking her?"
"Somewhere you can't interrogate her?"
arsehole. He knew what i intended to do?
"Surprised? Don't worry a doll doesn't need to know anything, you can call it starting a new life." he said before he left me irked to slap the shit of him.
Damn it! i need to escape from here. Who knows what they'll do to me? i thought.
I tried using my powers, i closed my eyes and focused on my surroundings but not a bit of sensation cam back to me, something was blocking my powers and the answer was pretty obvious already. i panted heavily for trying to surpass the collar but it was no use, it was sucking my power continuously without stopping that it made me sleepy already. I fell on the bed helplessly and gazed on the ceiling, wondering about who i really was.
He told me my name is Christal.
