Jaxon's eyes landed on me and i felt it. But my eyes was only towards my mate, but with so much disgust and hatred on it, i wanted to fight him. Save this people!
Keith suddenly picks me up and rushes me out of the scene.
Keith puts me down. "Are you trying to kill yourself?! You can't just fight the AlphaKing whenever you wan-"
Tears started to fall from my eyes, my heart was tightening and i whimpered in pain.
"Why are you crying? Was that too much for you?" He asks worried. " mean this is your first task after all and you're still a she wolf."
"He's my mate." I manage to blurt out.
He stopped talking, his face stunned and shocked on what he just heard.
"HE'S YOUR MATE?!" He shouts. "AND YOUR BROTHER KNOWS THIS?"
I nodded. "Will you shut up now?"
"Woah. That's horrible-" he stops when he notices me glaring at him. "-i mean congratulations- ah no fuck!"
I rolled my eyes, dumbass.
My head spun when Jaxon's scent hits me, we weren't far off the land maybe that's why i just detected him. He appeared alone, his bare chest on view, he panted hard but slowly.
"Luna? I knew my eyes weren't playing tricks on me." He says in a blank face.
"Jaxon."
"Luna?" Keith looks at me, confused why Jaxon just called me honorifics.
"You go first." I told Keith, but he shooks his head saying that protecting me was also his task.
I sighed.
"What are you doing here?" Jaxon asks.
"Why did you kill those innocent werewolves?!"
He was abit taken back from the tone and intensity of my voice. He says "Christal he can't live without you."
He stops speaking for a while, as if he took that time to read me. "You don't know him well, didn't he tell you what happened to him in the past?"
I gulped, i know.
I even know better than what he remembers now.
My grip loosens, tears started to fall once again. But my face stern, Jaxon watches me as i grieved the memories that was engraved to my bones.
It was all my fault.
I took everything away from him, his family all dead because of me!
"Don't tell him anything about what you saw, it'll be better for both of us." I pushed him.
As i was walking away, i heard him spoke. "Which side are you really on?"
And i turned to face him. "Myself."

"Where exactly are we going now?"
After foreseeing what happened a while ago, i rushed into the forest, where one of the entrances to the Heavens is found. Only few knew about this.
Only a Pure Soul can enter.
it was not long before my sight found the portal. There was no guard o whatsoever, the place was surrounded with small mythical creatures, identical to jellyfish but they were flying and emitting white light.
"Woahhh." Keith tries to poke one of the creatures, i elbowed him.
"Don't."
"I'm sorry." He raises his hand in surrender. "So mind telling me what are we doing with one of the entrances in Heavens? You do know that only divine being or pure can enter there right?"
"What's your point?"
"My point is i'm not a good guy and i can't accompany you there. Wait, you're not pure." His eyebrow raised.
"Yes, i'm not anymore," I said before recalling the incident that happened in Delta a few months ago.
"So we what're we doing here?"
"I'm here to test something." I said, i took steps closer to the portal and slowly lifted my hand.
"That's not a good idea if i were you, you'll be electrocuted worse it'll kill you for touching a portal you can't ent-"
My hand went through, i knew it.
"-or you can?" He says bewildered. "What's going on?"
"Gina?"
'Whatever you are thinking right now answers your curious child.'
"I've always thought you were different from a beast, far from a beast."
'Well of course, you wouldn't beat all those arses if it weren't from me.'
"Very funny."
I took my hand out once again and faced Keith, who's face says it all. "HOLY SHIT YOU'RE DIVINE?!"
"Don't tell anybody about this." I threatened him and he just nodded silently.
"What exactly are we doing here?"
I looked at him, even i questioned that myself. Thoughts ran through my mind while i stared at the portal. Memories of the past flashes right through me and i closed my eyes, feeling the despair and agony i've been through.
He might hate me forever...
Can i really do this?
"Christal what's wrong?" Keith asks.
"would you.." i looked at him. "Still love your mate knowing that you hated her for a long time?"
I was shocked when i saw his eyes turn into despair, he looked down as if he felt the words that i asked him. "I don't know what you and your mate are going through right now, but mates are mates. You'll always find yourself going back at each other even in the worst times."
"Your eyes looks dead."
He chuckles bitterly. "I also had a mate."
"Has?"
"I fell inlove with a human once, she wasn't my mate but i promised myself i'll choose her over my mate." He sighs, taking a step back. "But i never thought the mate pull would be so hard when i first met my mate. I had to reject the feeling everytime, reject my mate in the process. It hurt like hell, i felt that i've been with my mate longer than the human girl i loved. Thoughts and feelings were choosing my mate over the human, my heart chose my mate."
I raised an eyebrow.
"But you didn't choose your mate?"
He shook his head. "Even so, she begged me for months, even begged me that she could be a mistress she didn't care anymore. I know i was hurting her everytime, but i always get a weird happy feeling when she was around, it was enough to calm my wolf. But one day, she stopped seeing me for weeks. I got worried and visited her, she was dying."
He wipes his eyes, hoping a tear wouldn't fall from remembering the past. "At that time, i felt i was also dying. She told me she didn't eat or walk for weeks, she just laid there wanting to die. And i asked her why would you kill yourself? She told me.. it's painful! I can't take it anymore. I hugged her, soothed her until she calms down."
He's crying, looking down and closing his eye everytime his eyes would blur his vision, he kept wiping it away hoping it would just stop.
"She died when she calmed down, she was fucking smiling!" He chuckles, but in an angry manner. "In my arms, pain was all that i felt, physically and mentally. I broke down days after my mate died, i couldn't handle the weight of my mistakes, it made me go blind from guilt so i also broke up with the human even though i loved her."
"What happened to the human?"
He looks at me, his stare felt different.
He looked at me as if i was the human he was talking about.
"I heard recently that she's been abducted by vampires." He looks away.
"What? And you just let her go?" I said angry.
"I tried to find her, i was worried. but she wouldn't let me."
"What do you mean?"
"She told me she fell inlove with a vampire and she was fine, and to never look for her again." He sighs.
"What if she's been hypnotized by vampires? They always do that shit especially to humans!"
"No. She was willing to become food for that guy." He says pissed, remembering the girl.
I sighed, what am i even doing digging in his past like i should know it? I looked away and once again stared at the portal. "Thanks for telling me, and i'm sorry you had to go through the pain again." I said my back facing him.
"It's fine."
I smiled at him, he looked a bit taken back but he smiled back after. "I'm not going back," I tell him.
He raises his eyebrow.
"So you just beat our arses for fun back there?" He says sarcastically.
"Shut up." I laughed at him. "But seriously i've been running away from everything. My mate, DELTA, and my pack. It's getting a little tiring."
"You've been in DELTA?!"
"Yup and i won't tell you anything more about it."
He frowns like a child. "No!"
I smiled at his childishness, i never thought he was an okay guy after our serious talk back there. I looked at him and nodded as if i'm saying goodbye. His eyes gave a reassuring look as he waves back at me, i faced the portal.
And i went in.
