"You were having trouble, i helped you."
"I told you not to come with me!" I spat angrily.
"I'm also going to Delta to check on things, i'm not there to showcase you love."
I rolled my eyes. Whatever.
I gave up and continued to stroll towards Delta, i was surely making most of the time because i wasn't in a hurry. He walks towards my side and asks. "You walk slow."
"Well sorry Flash, you can go ahead."
"You are nervous."
My jaw dropped. "I am not!"
"You are, i can feel the beating of your heart, fast."
I blushed in embarrassment. Yes, i was really nervous i wished that i could walk an endless path where i don't have to enter Delta. But it's just a thought im not that desperate not to try it. "For no reason i feel nervous."
In no time at all, we reached Delta training Grounds. I've been here once but the smell of death still lingers around here, taking that as a sign that Delta is something that i should never underestimate. I scrunched my nose. "Death lingers."
"Listen, you're are far more powerful than any werewolf here. Don't expose yourself too much, in Delta most of the people here are your enemies." He comes close. "Whatever you do, don't make things look so easy for you."
I nodded, noted.
I think i was listening too much because i didn't realize that people had been staring towards us, they've stopped what they were doing and they stared at me from head to toe. Making me more nervous i took a step back. But my mate only pushed me forward, leaning his head. "Chin up, don't let them look down on you."
Okay.
"It's the Alpha King." A guy said, he's voice echoing around the woods. It started, the murmurs all around the Delta. In one step of the Alpha King, they stopped.
"Where's the superior around here." He commanded.
In split second, a guy jumping from above landed in front of us. He looked very dirty as if he showered with mud. He plastered a smile. "Pleasant morning to you Alpha King." He bows. "What brings you to the 5th Level?"
5th level?
"This guy." He signs me to step forward and i did. "A new recruit that i recommend, don't need to inspect him. He's blind, tell everybody that no one would question his eyes." He said to him, as if he said it to everyone around us.
"Yes Alpha King." The guy replies.
The place was still silent, all of them focused towards us. I never thought the Alpha King had this kind of power. I repeatedly cursed the fast beating of my heart, i was nervous. This is what i was avoiding. I didn't want to look like big shot.
I gulped, i have to sound like a man. "Dude, there's no need to make a grand introduction. Leave me i don't need your help."
Everybody around us started to gasped, their eyes looking at astonishment towards me, even the guy infront of me gave me you-wanna-die?- look. Why? Oh shit i think i sounded rude towards the Alpha King! But it's been a habit of mine.
"Youngsters." My mate only laughs. "Then i'll take my leave. Inform Jaxon to stride here afterwards, i want him to teach the newbies." He said towards the Superior.
I felt his hand gently touch mine as he walks away. When he was out of range, the crowd became a lot noisier and the Superior was now gone once again. I was in the middle of the crowd that seeing a chair, made me want to sit.
I walked towards there but stopped when a guy stood on it.
What now.
"Hey you, you think you're a Big shot? Recommendation from the Alpha King? Ha. Stupid! maybe he introduced you because you're so weak. Poor little wolf scared that no one's with you?" He laughed, guys were now forming at is back and they laughed at me like i was some trash.
I clutched my fist. These bastards, they're pushing my buttons way too much!
"Enough!" A guy said from my back.
The guys infront of me stared towards my back. That voice is coming from the superior a while ago. I turned my head and saw him standing infront of me while he looked at me with fury in his eyes. I gulped, why the hell are they ganging up on me?
"You. This is just a warning, you should know that the moment you stepped here you're a Delta Trainee, you can be any of high status but we do not heed that here. If we're no one, you are no one. Got that?" He said.
I gulped, "Yes."
"Good. One more thing, if you Die in Delta. You'll be part of its soil."
I gulped twice, that asshole! He said he wouldn't showcase me to Delta!
