Chapter 194

Della’s POV

Natasha barged in, wearing a vibrant red-colored tulip dress that fell up until her mid-shin. On any other day, she’d look sophisticated, carrying the demeanor of a noblewoman. However, with the dirt etched on the hem of her dress and the stinky smell lingering on her, one would doubt if she’s really the former Luna of the Dark Moon Pack.

It couldn’t be avoided, though. After all, she had been imprisoned after she set her daughter Margot free from prison. By the looks of it, she was just released, and the first thing she did was storm at me.

With furrowed brows and a red, furious face, she murderously glared at me. “You bitch!”

Finger pointed at me, she cursed, “You are a fucking witch! What did you give my son that he drove his own father away for a low-life omega like you!”

She strode toward me.

“Oh no, you don’t!” Diana shouted from the kitchen and ran to block Natasha’s path toward me, arms wide open.

Diana’s block didn’t calm her down. Instead, it agitated her even more. She pushed her arm and tried to reach me with her elongated nail. “If it weren’t for a bitch like you, my sweet daughter wouldn’t be traumatized by fright with all this shit!”

Then, for the first time, aside from anger, I saw something flash in her eyes – sorrow and pain.

With a hint of trembling voice, she whispered, “My daughter…After she saw Nancy being executed, she was so scared that she couldn't even speak. She didn't even dare to sleep at night!”

To say I wasn’t shocked would be a lie. Right now… she looked and sounded exactly like what a mother should be. I could feel the overflowing love she had for Margot.

But just as how fast my heart felt warm, so did it easily go cold as a painful truth struck me. Because that love… that’s the love only available for Margot. The love that Natasha and Luke never thought of giving Kylian.

The kind of parental love that Kylian had longed for since his childhood.

With that, I wasn’t able to stop the bitterness in me from coming out in the form of a sneered smirk.

Natasha exasperatedly gasped. “How dare you smirk! It’s all your fucking fault! If it weren’t for you bewitching my son, he would never turn into this cold and heartless man he is now! They...They are his father and sister!”

Her eyes were red and wide open from immense anger.

At first, considering that she’s the mother of the man I love the most, I wanted to remain as calm and as patient as possible. And considering that she was having a miserable life in prison all these days, unaware of what really happened, I would have let her go with all her rants.

But her next words draw a line she shouldn’t be stepping on…

“If Flora is still here, my son won’t turn this way!” she shouted, and my blood instantly boiled with fury and utter disgust.

“Let go!” she shouted furiously. Finally, using her strength as a Luna, she pushed Diana onto the ground.

Oh no, you don’t! I thought as I took a quick glimpse of Diana, who whimpered in pain as she fell.

I looked back at Natasha and saw her eyes sending death glares at me. As she raised her hand in the air and ready to claw my face, I hastily grabbed the orange juice Diana prepared for me earlier.

She’s fast… but I’m faster.

In a blink of an eye, the orange juice was poured on her face, making her froze from her actions, completely stunned.

Jaw dropped, and she gasped in intense anger, trembling with vengeful feelings as she used her hand to wipe off the dripping, sticky liquid from her face.

By how numerous times she blinked her eyes and how she was still standing frozen in there, I’d say it’s safe to say that she’s beyond dumbfounded.

It’s understandable, though. After all, I never fought back to her, even no matter how many times she abused and bullied me in the past.

Her eyes were filled with utter disbelief before they turned back again to fury.

Unexpectedly, though, she recovered fast from her shock and hastily raised her hand in the air, ready to give a slap. “How dare you… A fucking omega…”

Narrowing my eyes, I moved faster than her hand and grabbed her wrist tightly just a second before her palm landed on my face. With a domineering voice, I asked firmly, “Do you think I’ll still endure and tolerate you?”

Gritting my teeth, I added, “Think again.”

Natasha looked away, and I smirked. Of course, that’s what she thought.

Well, she’s mistaken. I already learned to love and value myself. Never would I let anyone bully me again.

I hardly pulled her wrist toward me, forcing her to look me in the eyes with how close we were to each other.

With blazing eyes, I firmly said, “I won’t tolerate it anymore, Natasha. Not even if you’re the mother of the man I love.”

Then, I let her go so harshly that she almost stumbled down. “Now, if you still want to hurt me, just know that I’ll fight back… Hard!”

Reminding her, I added, “I might be an omega, but I’m still the Luna of this pack. So deal with it.”

Former Lunas were given respect, but that didn’t change the fact that they weren’t the ones in the title anymore.

Soon enough, I’ll be officially a mother as well, and I wanted my children to grow beside me, knowing that their mothers were strong and brave. Unlike before, I could no longer compromise with anyone out of kindness and love.

Besides… Soon enough, everyone would know my real identity. After the banquet, everyone would be enlightened that I’m the princess, and no one would be able to bully me ever again.

Natasha and I fell into a staring contest when there were suddenly rapid footsteps heard at the door.

Sighing, I looked away from her and saw Henry arriving at the door. The guards all bowed in respect to him as a Beta.

Henry only nodded at them and rashly went to my side, giving me respect. “Luna… Alpha Kylian is at the meeting. As soon as he heard the news, he asked me to come to your aid.”

He looked between me and Natasha, asking, “What’s going on?”

Natasha didn’t waste any time and furiously pointed a finger at me. “She poured an orange juice at my face! I’m the Alpha’s mother. How can she insult me like this?” She even pointed at her ruined clothes drenched in sticky liquid.

Instead of being hasty, Henry averted his eyes towards me and asked calmly, “Are you the one who really did it?”

As he asked that, I could see how Natasha stood upright with pride from my peripheral vision.
