Without further a due, I went to my closet and grabbed a set of casual clothes. I changed into a khaki shirt and denim pants which I paired with a random shoes I grabbed from the rack.
The next second, I opened the door and rushed out.
“Alpha…”
Many of those who I passed through greeted me, but I only nodded hastily and rushed toward the guest house where Della was staying.
I felt like a teenager rushing for his crush, but who cared? Right now, all that mattered was setting the misunderstanding between me and Della straight.
Upon arrival at the guest house, I knocked a couple of times, but no one answered...
She still didn’t want to see me?
Knocking louder, I called, “Della!”
“Please, it’s me. Open the door. Let’s talk…” Still, no one answered.
I walked a little bit to the right and peaked over the window, but I didn’t see any signs that anyone was inside which made me more confuse.
“Della,” I called out again.
“Alpha.” I heard a voice from the side.
Looking, I saw that it was one of the omegas. She had a basin on her side, and she bowed her head as she greeted me.
“Where are they?” I asked, motioning toward the house.
The omega looked up and said with a saddened voice, “I am here to clean the guest house, Alpha. Ms. Della and Ms. Diana already moved to the smaller house near the fence…”
“What? When did this happened? How did this happened?” I asked in surprise. I never gave such instructions.
The omega looked around in distress.
“Say it,” I pushed.
“Um… they moved earlier this day as per Sir. Luke’s order…”
I clenched my fist in anger. I couldn’t believe that my father would work so fast! He actually dared to throw Della in a different place without my knowledge!
“Um… Alpha…” The omega cautiously called out.
With a furrowed eyebrows, I waved my hand. “Go on with what you’re doing.”
“Damn it!” I cursed under my breath as I slapped the patio’s post on my way out.
I took a detour on the back, going straight to the small house near the fence at the back part of the pack house’ territory.
Midway arriving the small house, I stopped, frozen at what I saw.
The house was too small, and it looked old that it seemed like it would collapse when a calamity happen.
My jaw clenched as I observed the place. The patio was even so small that it didn’t look like it’s good to stay in.
Once I calmed my agitated heart, I walked closer. However, just as I was about to knock and open the door, heavy rain poured in.
“A-alpha… I’ll get you an umbrella…” I didn’t know that one of the omegas were following me until I heard her voice.
Not minding the rain or her suggestion, I continued to knock on the door, but I got no reply.
Couldn’t wait any longer, I rooted to the side of the house and peaked through the glass window,
My heart ache while I looked at her sleeping figure.
The bed was only a single bed. There weren't enough furniture, and it looked like the entire place wasn't clean at all despite a few cleaning they did by how I saw a few dirty towels and basin on the side.
I couldn’t believe that my father would go as far as maltreating her like this. Though she was an omega in origin, she was still my Luna and the Luna of the pack. We weren’t divorce yet and I won’t let it happen.
I knocked on the glass window with my knuckles. At first, it started out softly but it seemed like it wasn’t enough to wake her up. In the end, I had to knock louder to get her attention.
After a few seconds, she stirred up from her sleep.
“Della… It’s me…” I called out until she finally got to her senses.
Immediately, she sat up from the bed.
Damn, she look so beautiful.
She looked so cute as she blinked a couple of times to looked properly at her surroundings before she used her fingers to comb her messy hair from sleeping.
Despite all my worries and anger, I couldn’t help but smile at her appearance.
Finally, she turned her head around and looked over the window.
She saw me.
I thought she would be surprise, but her reaction was quite dead.
She merely looked at me without any reactions. Moments later, Della finally tilted her head and said nonchalantly, “Alpha Kylian. What are ou doing here?”
It was as though she didn’t know me and I had no part in her life. My heart ache.
Damn it! I really need to explain everything to her now.
“I… I wanted to talk to you…” I said, and motioned toward the rain, and how drench I was already at the moment.
She raised an eyebrow, asking coldly, “What more is there to talk about?”
My heart beat faster. I coudln’t handle it when she’s acting this way.
“Can you let me in first? Let’s talk.” I said, making her look at my clothes and the rain.
After thinking for a while, she shrugged her shoulders and nodded.
“Fine, come in.”
I thought she’ll open the door for me, but instead, she walked toward the window and opened it.
I raised my eyebrows in surprise. “Here?”
She crossed her arms, and said, “Any problems with it?”
Seeing she was being serious, I immediately shook my head. “No, nothing at all.”
With difficulty, I bent and first put my right leg inside before my upper body, and the other leg.
Sighing, I stood upright, and looked at her.
She was opening a cabinet and grabbed a white towel.
“Here,” she said, throwing the towel at me which fell on my head.
I grabbed it, and stared at her. I need to take this opportunity. Holding it at her direction, I asked, “Will you help me?”
She didn't speak, and the indifference in her eyes almost killed me.
In the past, she used to be anxious when I was drenched. She walked around, busy with nagging and getting me medicine and hot chocolate. I always found it annoying that she made a fuss.
But now...I'm starting to miss that Della.
After a moment of hesitation, she motioned toward the bed with her eyes, so I sat on the edge. She came closer and started helping me to dry my hair. Supposedly, I should be happy.
But I couldn’t.
She was so indifferent that it almost felt like she was a robot doing her task.
No caring. No love.
I put aside my feeling of loss, looked inside the place more closely, which made my heart ache even more.
“I didn’t know that Dad made you come here…” I whispered.
“I know.”
I looked at her, and she nodded nonchalantly.
She was so calm, and it bothered the hell out of me.
I rather that she was angry and throwing kicks at me than her being like that. Seeing her cry and sad, though heartbreaking was a bit better than how she’s treating me right now.
It’s as though she didn’t care anymore. And it was the worse feeling ever.
She’s so close to me and yet I could feel how much I was starting to lose her. And this time, it was for real.
I knew this very well, so my heart sank. I began to feel panicked.
Not able to handle it any longer, I held her hand and stop her. Looking into her eyes, I asked, “Why are you acting so calm and indifferent?”
Della gave me a bitter smile that seemed like a sharp sword that instantly pierced in my heart. “I am already used to this life. I’ve lived it for years, have you forgotten? Also, it’s not like you can defy your father, right?”
She looked down on me and smiled sadly. “You can never get over with your fear over him.”
I was stunned at her words, and had nothing to answer. I couldn’t refute nor deny it. After all, I knew deep in my heart that it was the truth. At least for now.
I held her hand tightly and I stood up. “Della, I can fix it. I promise, I’ll make you happy. I’ll–”
I hadn't finished yet when tears started to streamed down her face. That instantly made me stop. Now I regretted thinking that seeing her like this would be easier. Because I was so wrong.
Raising my hand, I tried to wipe it dry, but she stopped me mid way. She lowered her head and held back her tears. Then when she raised her head to look at me, she was calm again.
“Kylian, wake up! Past is past, we can never go back to how we used to be.”
Instantly, my heart was pounding like the night of my worst nightmare. I had trouble breathing when I saw how determined she looked like.
I’m losing her… I’m so losing her… This couldn't be real….
Without hesitation, I wrapped my arms around her and engulfed her in a tight and warm hug, hoping that she would feel my love for her.
“Please, please Della. You can’t.” My voice was shaking, but I didn't give a fuck.
I begged her as fast as I could, my fingers tightening around her, holding her in my arms so she couldn't move even a little bit.
Maybe it's an illusion, but I felt that as long as I let go of my hand now, I would never see her again.
No, I don't want that.
Please Moon Goddess. I don't want lose her.
“No, you can’t do that. You can’t give up on us.” Upon saying that, I held her nape, pulled her head closer to me, and kissed her wildly.
“Kylian—” she screamed and struggled.
But I didn’t gave her enough time to protest, went on to carry her and throw her at my bed.
I can. I can stop her.
I pressed against her body on my bed, mumbling like a mad.
I can own her, I can keep her with me. Whether she wants it or not, she can only stay by my side! She is mine!
I thought as I pressed my erect cock against her thighs and pressed my lips to her neck.
My wolf showed our fangs. My hands wrapped her legs around my waist. She trembled and straighten her back as my cock pressed against her pussy tightly.
Her reaction made me even crazier. I want her to be mine, forever.
